The Choir of Westminster Abbey & The Choir of His Majesty's Chapel Royal
Leitung: James O'Donnell (Organist and Master of the Choristers, Westminster Abbey)
The State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey
    TEXT
I am the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. (John 11: 25-26)
I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God; whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another. (Job 19: 25-27)
We brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. (1 Timothy 6: 7; Job 1: 21)

This is the song I’ve been looking for from the queens funeral. Lofty. Hallowed. Resplendent.

So did I but I cried more as my 2009 Woody comforts me when we were getting ready to watch the funeral live. Even Mummy, Princess of Wales was very concerned about how I would take all this in and it ended horribly with a huge breakdown. That’s when I knew the Queen was gone

I don't think I'm the only one to say this but I am so proud of their boys for doing that at They were just new in the army To be given that great responsibility must have been nerve racking for them but they did their Queen proud And I hope they will get honours

William Croft started his musical career as a choirboy in the Chapel Royal choir. By 1707 he was the director, and wrote this music along with "I heard a voice from heaven" for the funeral of Queen Anne. He also reused the Purcell piece "Thou knowest, Lord, the secrets of our hearts", and all three have been performed at funerals of British monarchs ever since, including here. Just in case some don't know, the Chapel Royal boys are wearing the fancy red uniforms. Croft was still a member of the Chapel Royal choir when the Purcell piece was sung at the funeral of Queen Mary II in 1695.

And this will be played at my funeral because Woody.EXE wanted a huge send off for me his Queen when I almost died in February this year. My funeral was going to be televised throughout Wales an all because that was my request

Specifically English, not British. This service is conducted strictly to the burial rites of the Church of England, of which Her Late Majesty was Head and Supreme Governor. The Churches in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are different, and where the Sovereign of the United Kingdom has no say in religious matters whatsoever.

and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shalt stand

And though after my skin worms destroy this body,

whom I shall see for myself,

We brought nothing into this world,
and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
    The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away;
blessed be the Name of the Lord.
Man that is born of a woman hath but a short time to live,
    and is full of misery.
    He cometh up, and is cut down, like a flower;
he fleeth as it were a shadow, and never continueth in one stay.
In the midst of life we are in death:
of whom may we seek for succour, but of thee, O Lord,
who for our sins art justly displeased?
Yet, O Lord God most holy, O Lord most mighty,
O holy and most merciful Saviour,
deliver us not into the bitter pains of eternal death.
I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me,
    Write,
From henceforth blessed are the dead which die in the Lord:
    even so saith the Spirit:
for they rest from their labours.
    Amen.

It's a part of the Anglican church traditional music. I've read the queen may have selected some or all of the musical pieces herself for her funeral.
