  • New to Maidstone and District in 1980, she later passed to Hastings and District in who's livery she's preserved in. I've owned since June 2021 and managed to get a lot of the mechanical issues sorted out - not that there were many.
    She now needs a proper clean as she was laid up for many years and is a bit dusty and grimey.
    Here she is heading through the most haunted village of Pluckley in Kent on the way to the Weald of Kent Steam Rally which is held at nearby Woodchurch. This was only the second time I've driven her so excuse any iffy gear changes. Also most of the noise from the you hear is from bits and bobs still stored inside the coach - including a scaffolding pole used to torque up the wheel nuts.
