I could of watched a full video of just the beach. I was able to spend 3 weeks up in Massachusetts this June. For a week of it we went to Old Orchard Beach. Unfortunately it was when ya'll got all the rain and cool Temps so the beach days were 3 layers of clothes and a rain jacket lol. New England is so beautiful, full of patriotism and lots of historic little places! I saw Johnny Appleseed memorial, Mary had a little lamb and a few other places... went into New Hampshire to the Pickety Place ...my favorite. Next time I want to see Plymouth and Salem 😊. Enjoy the rest of your time off. Here in Texas... the teachers just went back the 1st 😮 and 107 is our Temps. Crazy

That looks like a fun day. We live nowhere near an ocean. It would take us a day to get there. But my kids are grown. And my daughter has a family of her own. The other one has fur babies. Probably from seeing too many kids at her sister’s house. I’m not a beach person. I like a clean pool so I can see what’s inside.

Like for beach days etc. Liquid IV brand powder packets-1 packet per water bottle give a person 3x the hydration than one water bottle serving. They are amazing!🌸

My favorite beach tip is to also keep all sunscreens/slow in a gallon baggie in my cooler. Feels great on the skin when reapplying throughout the day, and keeps the lotions from becoming hot and runny. Plus their in a baggie so no contamination of food which is typically in containers anyway.

My kiddos are already back to school! They got out Memorial Day though. I’m in Indiana. Only downfall is no beach in driving distance. We usually fly to Florida once a year. I love those hormel meat trays, so convenient. Every time I buy expensive grapes they go bad on us so I haven’t lately. Food is so expensive, would love to see your weekly hauls.
It is so true!!! We came home with a bunch of the grapes, so today I have left them on the table open and everyone has been grazing on them all day.

I had purchased a watermelon and cut it up earlier in the week. When I saw you cutting the watermelon I had to have some while watching you prep. Glad everyone had a fun time.

I start back to working in a school environment by Monday, August 14th with students starting back on Thursday, August 17. Too soon!!! I can't believe my summer break is almost over!!! Not enough time!!! And as usual it went by too fast!!!

Love that idea!
I hate cutting watermelon. Always think the knife is going to slip and I'll get cut. I saw a youtuber video where she lined a professional cookie sheet with foil and cut the watermelon in half. Then she used a ice cream scoop to make bite sized pieces to put into a bowl. Worked great. No juicy mess all over the counter and the foil can be scrunched up and thrown away. And rinds aren't cut up everywhere.

Wow I live i. Florida literally less than 30 mins from the beach and I haven’t been to the beach in about 5 or 6 yrs. I really need to go out beaches here are so beautiful..

Hope y’all enjoyed your beach day Tiffany! I have never used a rash guard but let me tell you on day 5 of our cruise it was such a relief! I got past the feeling, it was so cooling while I was in the water! Sun Bum has an amazing aloe lotion, in my opinion it works better than the gel.

All your food looks delicious. The beach is so much fun. We went to N. Mrytle Beach in May as our son has a beach home there. It is a lot of work but well worth it.

This is such a good idea for a video! I always see people bring food to the beach with them, but we've never done it. My question is, how do you keep sand out of it because my water always ends up with sand in it and i feel like finger foods would have a higher chance. Or is that just a risk you take? 😅 Side note, I had my first fresh pineapple the other day from the farmers market. It was so good! ❤

Yep, being from CA, that watermelon doesn't look juicy or tasty . Of course, we moved to WI a decade ago. But we have big gardens on our 80 acres and my husband planted cantaloupes & watermelon. . Too early for the watermelon, but, the cantaloupes are delicious.We do miss the grapes from Fresno, where we were from.
I think it was a little waterlogged. We have had a ridiculous amount of rain, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Waaaaay too many containers to wash when you return. I use ziplocks for everything including ice packs I make.
Sounds cool. That’s a whole lot of trash for the environment, though so I stick to containers!

Oh, of course. You did mention it was not too far away. Wingaersheek is near Gloucester. You should check it out sometime, it’s beautiful and a great beach for kids!
