I agree with the lady in the green. Ride or die has typically meant sticking beside a man whether he’s cheating or doing whatever dirt.

That’s not what it typically means however it is more common that the women that we typically hear who are ride or dies are the ones staying beside a man that does those things. That’s on women to choose a better caliber of man to be a ride or die for.
Ride or die means extreme loyalty. Everyone can understand that much which is what the men were saying. The lady in the green back peddled to the negative connotation of it cause it was making her look bad. She knows she truly meant she not staying around too long if a man was to lose his financial stability when she said she can’t be with someone with just potential and who cannot self-start themselves if they were to lose their job/career or maybe even have health concerns since she brought up the whole “what guy is staying with a woman who lost a limb” to gaslight.
But that isn’t what it means.. and none of the men that she was interested in and that were interested in her thought it meant that, and didn’t seem like the typa men to do that.. she said she didn’t wanna let her past control her but she did.

My (maybe unpopular) opinion is that having a moral compass is incompatible with being someone's ride-or-die. e.g. if the woman believes in God, her allegiance is to God first, and if the choice is between her partner and God, she chooses God.

Ladies, please leave something to be desired and go over questions at home. If you've watched the show, you should know what to expect. These men were the best group of men I've seen on here that actually looked for the women to have depth. Good job guys.
Why would the women go over questions? You're right this is best group of men, after 8 episodes. If anything they're most likely responding to all the valid complaints that the women had on the show, about the men not dressing appropriately, and eliminating the women for very superficial reasons like the color of her dress or not wearing a watch. Most of the women have always dressed nice and asked solid questions to the men, now these men are stepping their game up trying to match the women's energy.

Idk about the best group of men a lot of them didn’t have real jobs/ careers the majority of were putting on fronts like they were “deep”.
@missyd1215 For instance, the guy with the tight plaid pants kept having to tell some of the women to ask questions of substance. The lady in the green spoke well but ended up shooting herself in the foot. The girl in all black from Phoenix was extremely shallow. She just wanted a guy with money and had nothing to share with them about herself. She likes going out but couldn't even figure out how to say that she's clubs. She said multiple times that she goes out and she likes dating and going out to eat. She recently lost 65 pounds said something about the gym but couldn't really communicate that she goes. Several guys were models, and the 2 on either end are heavily in the gym but she never ask them questions that would tell her anything about them.
This is the best line up of men I've seen on this show. They are well-put together, handsome, well-spoken, searching for depth, didn't pop their balloons immediately, nice smiles, intelligent, etc.

I think I understood where sis was coming from and it stems from several perspectives among others but I think in essence, her stance is not to accept a partner that doesn’t materialise his potential long-term, and one that contributes to a chaotic, dysfunctional and unstable relationship. Often time social media portrays glory in women being a ‘ride or die’ often through instances where women have stayed in the face of (repeated) infidelity or holding it down while their man has been sent to prison long-term. Essentially, the phrase can be interpreted as an obligation and expectation to accept and ride through dysfunction all in the name of ‘love’.
She was masculine, stuck in her ways, not feminine, admitted to not being loyal or committed, never mentioned God a single time. She has issues she needs to deal with. My advice to you: do something more productive with your time over writing mini think-pieces in CZcams comment sections.
The irony is that men don’t date for potential. Finances/career to women are what looks are to men. Men rarely date for potential when a women doesn’t have a certain look (I.e. isn’t fit, teeth not straight, hair/face isn’t a certain way). When we judge them just as harshly for their finances/career, they can’t take that.
A lot of people say where they want to go, but aren’t actively taking any steps towards that decision. And even if a man does reach that potential, it’s still a risk of not knowing whether or not he is going to abandon you once he gets there. How many men abandon their day ones when they become successful? Men don’t consider how much a woman can lose when she’s just dating for potential.
That’s not to say a woman should abandon their man if he goes through hard times. But if you meet him when he’s “down” and he’s in the same place 4 years later OR you stay with him and he leaves you when he gets on…smart women have to ask themselves, is this a risk I’m willing to take? Time wasted is time you can’t get back.
