I also like to lay out my rock work on cardboard and visualize how I want to construct it keeping in mind a solid structure, swim throughs for the fish and plenty of area for coral placement.. great video
I too have forgotten to give back u-haul blankets. 😎 Joking aside, I just "re-scaped" my tank. Love the improved look but a tad nervous for an ammonia spike.
Trying to convince my pistol shrimp that the rocks on my aquascape don't need to all be leaning at 45 degree angles, and giant mounds of sand everywhere are out of style. I feel like I need to send him to art school or something.
Hey Chad. Most of the rock you saw was Cornerstone Reef Rock. A friend of mine is also a sponsor of my channel, and he sent me a couple boxes. I also bought several hundred dollars worth of CaribSea life rock to try out, including shapes, arches, and the tree. Spendy, but super helpful to have a lot when making a scape! And no, the only freshwater I've done has been a cool betta tank. But I am building a macroalgae tank which is sort of the saltwater equivalent of a freshwater planted tank!
Amazing video as always. I literally just rescaped my tank a couple days ago. 😭😭😂 this past weeks, your videos are exactly what I need but after I decide to do something about it heheheh. Btw, it’s Anak’s Reef on IG here!

I'm totally with you! I'm now officially doing the same, with a few pieces epoxied on here and there of course!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll check her IG out for sure!
@Boozle's Tanks lovin it! Looks soo good, went for more that that though 😜
Let’s make cj come back ! 😭
Agreed! CJ, if you are reading this... we need a video!!! :-)
That would be nice. He actually took his tank down but says he is itching to start a new build.
I just really want him to use a quarantine tank this time around! He's so good at this hobby and I think it would help a lot!
Where and how did you get all that rock? And are you not into freshwater at all? Thx

How many pound of rock did you use?
You know, I'm not sure. I always buy way to much because it gives me options for scaping.

Hey Anak! I need to make two of these videos each week to stay ahead of you! Thanks for watching and commenting!
