My steering on the Keaton 8s was like that for a while, increased the gain/expo and the travel on Dx5c controller and now it’s great 👍

Great video Kevin. Martin's car has a lot more torque though. That 800kv motor is a true 1:5 scale and pulls hard. However you're right, that with just a bigger pinion(23/25) in stock form the K8s is still fast and does run very well on a track/anywhere.

Kev if up the ground clearance of the rustler 4x4 it will do standing backflips on the stock (11/54) gearing. I just did today, also tires were stock.
have you ever thought of gearing up your rc car to where it has enough speed to go higher? i mean doing it to a powerful rc car would make sense because of lower torque with more speed.
Kev you need to get a compound and use a GIANT air bag (like MTB) then you can do re entry from moon repeatedly with little to no loss of the wallet!!...realy enjoyiny these vids :)
What specs the SSe? Mine is on stock motor with only big pinion. What should I do to make it faster top end? Motors not hot currently. Link please 😊

I ask because Im looking foe an apgrade adjustable drive shafts for the front diff to the wheels.
Instead of slamming flat out into solid walls, have you ever done RC car jousting? Two cars flat out head on. Add jousting poles of some kind for extra points.

Kevin I love your videos on how you test out the latest RC cars I am not a basher of RC’s for sale but I do enjoy the hobby as much as 52 cars myself all in Primo condition and I’m still having a great time with them but here’s an additional question that I do have when you advertise to people want to make a better living other than going to a 9 to 5 and you offer them a job at selling on eBay that’s great and fantastic and a quick buck but what does that do for them long-term as far as benefits and retirement?? And don’t say they can put their own money to the side for later because we all know that that does not happen with most people which is why they are looking for a quick fix type of job in the first place!!! I’m not knocking on what you do it’s just a question?
I have the same spec k8 at martyn but what size pinion does he have? I have the same type but a 40t looks similar and also have the same steering issue I believe it's the servo saver but can't figure it out

Hey kev how do you like your zop power 4s lipos? I have some on the way. But I seen 4s 5000mah for a good deal. How many runs you think you get out of them? Worth the money? Was thinking about trying them out on my speed run limitless and comparing them to smc.

Having the same issue with the steering. Replaced the servo saver and the servo not much better. Think it needs a more powerful servo.
