That was a brave move. I've painted upholstery but never thought of decoupaging it. When you sit on it I would be afraid it will crack.

Can you spray the back of the rice paper with water before you start?
You could, but I’m very careful not to over saturate the rice paper because when it gets wet, it can very easily tear.
When will you finish the decoupage chair?
