OMGIDDYOD you're the first person I have seen talk about this!!!
We went in 2002 and we had the best time: because my husband's grandparents lived in Ogdensburg and he's from Adams center/Watertown New York so we were close enough that the wee ones didn't morph into BratZillas!
We also went to Fort Henry and that was one of the best trips we had as a family ❣️ and my heart smiles thinking about it!!!!
We saw graffiti from Egyptians in 1912 which was HILARIOUS!
One of my favorite things about Boldt castle, are the STAGS!!! OH MY lordy I adore everything STAG related, so when I saw them on the roof, next to the balcony...😐.... I stood there like the southern girl I am, with my southern trailer park accent on full display 🙈 was practically yellin at my youngins"Oh my GAWD..... y'all come LOOKY here........ isn't it GORGEOUS? My daughter, not to out trash me asked "Mama🤔 WHY do they have a dead deer on the roof?"and I, with a straight face,looked her right in the eye and said: "Because they're classy punkin 🤗and classy people😊 like to put statues on their rooftops, when they run out of room in their yard!"😁
Warning.... I've given birth 3 times y'all 🤨 so buckle up Nelly, because there are 3 people out there, who're PooterTARDs just like their Mama! 👋 Enjoy the calamity and the nightmarish thought that they're all driving and have only been in 5 accidents between them!🥳

I've this inlay just waiting for a set of drawers I'm planning to decorate.. you may like to try and see if you can stream a programme called Escape to the Chateau a delightful series following a couple called Dick and Angel Strawbridge who bought a Chateau in France and have renovated it with such love.. ❤

I love. Your approach, on creativity, your work is, beautiful, every video I've watched, I love, I love your style, you are an artist, I love this paint inlay, I ordered 2 from a local retailer, of IOD, I was talking to the owner, about, putting this on a sofa, I am having reupholstered, with drop cloth, and she said, she tried acrylic gesso, on a cloth bag, and then used Chalk paint, and an IOD transfer,the difference,with the gesso, was amazing, the material was softer, versus, just Chalk paint. But I want to try it with this inlay, since gesso is a sealer, and comes in clear, and many colors, I was wondering, about your insight, so, I am going to play, with the gesso, and Chalk paint, on a piece of drop cloth, before, I try it on my sofa. Any insight will be helpful, thanks
It sounds like a great idea! I’ve never used clear gesso as my transfer medium, but I’ve going that Debis DIY clear liquid Patina works nicely as long as you have a good generous base coat of it that has dried. Then apply a second coat to apply inlay.
Ugh who’s I had watched your video before I tried an inlay… mine may be messed up, it’s drying now. Hopping I can fix it if it’s not good 🤷🏻♀️
