I’ve recently been put on the bar and done my first day of training I know pretty much everything but the nozzle I was told to lift the glass up and down after there is like a quarter left too fill also I’d appreciate if you could do more videos on pulling different types of beer
Depends on the beer, how full the keg is, amount of co2, when the pipes were last cleaned, ect... Basically every beer pours differently every day and you have to see how it comes out when you start. Watch how much foam is being formed the first few pints you pour that day and you should get an idea of how much distance you need to keep between the nozzle and the glass.
"Creates a professional impression" No - certain glasses are suited for certain beers, whether it's due to the glasses shape or the base. There's a reason the fastest way to fuck up a Guinness - pour it in a lager glass.
So this video is a prime example of common sense not being common anymore. Also the narrator saying the obvious about ordering a second point seemed unnecessary and dumb.
