Great ride through Yellowstone. Should be at the top of everyone’s bucket list. Pictures and videos don’t come close to capturing the sweeping views and stunning scenery.

I’ve been in Yellowstone 27 years ago in July and it was not that hot. About 87 degrees, I checked the travel book I’ve made :)

The southern hills is where you want to go to escape the higher dew points of the northern hills! Just know that 385 is closed on the northern tip of Pactola, and that's not a small detour. That construction needed to happen, but it certainly does throw a wrench into things if you wanted to go from Lead/Deadwood to Custer.

I cant imagine a better bike for road trips than the road king, what a beauty. Hopefully one day i'll be fortunate enough to own one of these

Living here in New Zealand we do have thermal areas similer to Yellowstone but in 2027 my son and i are planning a trip of the USA by bike and Yellowstone will be on the list as will Sturgis life long dream to do that retire in 2026 so were definitely coming there
Make sure you include beartooth pass and Lo Lo pass in your ride.
