    This weekend I was visiting my hometown Mariager, where I grew up as a kid. A lot of you have requested a song in my own language, in Danish. This song is a danish folk tune from around 1864, the title translated to english is "In the forests deep quiet tranquility", so I thought it would be perfect to shoot the video in this forest, where I've spent so many hours, when I was younger. I've pasted the lyrics to the song in Danish + translated to english below.
    Lyrics:
    I Skovens Dybe Stille Ro
    Danish Traditional Song
    Music: Unknown
    Lyrics: Assumed to be Fritz Andersen who published it in 1864 but it is not confirmed that he actually wrote it
    I skovens dybe, stille ro,
    hvor sangerhære bo,
    hvor sjælen lytted mangen gang
    til fuglens glade sang;
    der er idyllisk stille fred
    i skovens ensomhed,
    og hjertets længsler tie her,
    hvor fred og hvile er.
    Hør! landsbyklokken lyder ned,
    bebuder aftenfred,
    småfuglen, før den går til blund,
    end kvidrer lidt en stund;
    i mosen kvækker højt en frø,
    stærkt damper mark og sø;
    nu klokken tier - aftenens fred
    sig stille sænker ned.
    English Translation
    In the forests's deep quiet tranquility
    In the forests's deep quiet tranquility
    where the singer armies dwell,
    where the soul listened many a time
    to the bird's happy song;
    there is idyllically quiet peace
    in the forest's solitude,
    and the heart's longings are quiet here
    where peace and rest are.
    Hear! village bell sounds down
    announcing evening peace
    the small bird before it goes to nap,
    it is twittering another moment;
    in the bog croaks highly a frog,
    strongly steams field and lake;
    now the bell silences - the evening's peace
    quietly lowers itself down.

    Awww, so beautiful! For me as a foreigner the Nordic languages are the most beautiful in the whole world, and your voice so amazing. My ears are blessed. Noticed a little ferngully in the end of the video, just like ones which grow in a forest near my grandparents hometown (my childhood's summers forest) so now I wanna cry from happiness, you bring such a good memories back to me by this video! Thank you for your music, dear Emmelie, and good luck with new songs!

    First time hearing you in Danish and it's so mystical. Like fairies and nymphs and nisse (plural?) and tomte and anything magical.
    Oh look it's Emmelie de Forest in a _forest_. So punny
