My dream for Fender: Put Carlos in charge. He builds whatever he wants, the idea then goes to American made line for production for a few years, then moves to Mexican/Japan made for a few years and then onto the Squire brand. I want those guitars! But I can't afford a Custom Shop guitar... I love the german carve on those Brawlers and the Marauder looks incredible. Fender has a bright future with him.
I have many CS Fenders, and multiple masterbuilts. But my MB Carlos Lopez Tele just has something extra that the others don't. It's always the first and last one I play!
Wow! Carlos is such a master craftsman. Those Brawlers are incredibly gorgeous. As much as I would love to have one, I love that they were custom shops that were so expensive that they are almost like rare art. Not common production runs spit out by a factory where they cut corners and are everywhere. Thank you CME for showing us how Carlos creates his art. Thanks to Shelby for the lovely music for this video.
