27:41 Oh, that look of reminiscing about the girl that got away - we’ve all been there Bryan!!
So glad you’re back, Bryan. I need my fix of desert SW videos. 😂
You and me both! 😀
Great to see you back Bryan, love your Tesla adventures!
Glad you like them! More to come 😀
welcome back Bryan
Appreciate that 🙏
Glad you’re back, and hi from Denmark! 🇩🇰
Thank you for watching all the way from Denmark 😀 One of my favorite places to visit!!
Love your vids - need more people like you man
Appreciate that 🙏
Great to see you back, Bryan-thanks for the content and your smiling face!
Appreciate that, Vlad 😀
In Grand Junction, the Grand Vista hotel, across the street from your Marriott Courtyard, has two Tesla destination chargers. Future reference.
Great tip! 👍
Good to see you posting videos again! I needed this because my car is in the shop for a few weeks and I can't take my own road trip. Hope your journey is safe and soothe, full of wonderful sights and experiences! And post a lot so I can live vicariously through you!
Thank you 🙏 Hope your car gets fixed quick so you can get out on some adventures.
Great to have you back with a new video!
I appreciate that 😀
Hey, Bryan, after watching the episode in its entirety, I wanted to chime in further. First off, great seeing fellow Midwesterners! Secondly, I just returned from a super-enjoyable jaunt in a Model Y across Michigan’s U.P., from Houghton/Hancock to L’Anse Canyon Falls, then to Marquette, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, and finally Mackinac City. It’s absolutely doable in an EV, but, between Marquette and Tahq Falls/Mackinac, there’s no charging unless you take a detour to the general Sault area; this means you might have to drive leisurely and risk feeling the wrath of semis, as I did! In the Keewenaw Peninsula, there’s a decent selection of CCS DC fast chargers, so take along a CCS/Tesla adapter and you’ll be fine. Safe travels!
Oh, great tip. Much appreciate, Vlad 👍🏻
Glad to see you back!! Looking forward to more videos!
Thank you 🙏 More to come!
It's about time you are back. Heading up to Utah for a couple of weeks this summer. I am looking at buying the Refer you have. I have a MYP 2023. I will be staying in motels/hotels along the way.
Bryan. How is itt going?! pro trip-farewell-👌
Thanks for the video. I’ve been trying to convince my Son to take a trip in the Model Y. I’ve not been successful yet. We were in Santa Fe and Durango last year. What a beautiful drive, then again all of Colorado is.
Good to see you, Bryan!!!
Thanks, Jay!! Hope you’re well 😀
Good to see you back. Btw, you were going over 80/85mph and I don’t think you should expect to be able to arrive with the charge that Tesla predicted when you drive that fast.
It cannot predict for all variations in speed and at speed higher than 80mph, your range would probably get dropped by half in many cases.
Thanks! Good to be back 😀 Wasn't going that fast most of the time. Usually around 70-75 mph. The issue I was having is seeing a specific estimate and then less than a few minutes after leaving (driving normal speed limits) I'd see a drastic drop in the estimated arrival %. Like it would say you have enough to continue your trip and will arrive with say 30%. I then leave and within a few minutes the estimated arrival will drop to like 5% or sometimes it'll add an extra stop. Well of course I would have stayed a bit longer at the Supercharger if it would have been more accurate. I will say... it recent updates I haven't noticed the issue anymore so hopefully it was just a bug 🤞🏻 Appreciate you watching!
@@bryanhauer Yes this issue of prediction changing drastically within 10-15min is scary. Hopefully it was just a bug!
Great to see you back! I googled your name to make sure no bad news about you in some random mountain were posted online :D
🤣 Nope. Parents had some health issues the last few months so needed to take some time off to visit/help them. I'm back at it full-time now! Just got back a few weeks ago from a trip through Europe which I filmed a bunch of videos for so can't wait to share those in the next couple weeks. 👍🏻 Appreciate you tuning in!
We just did the Los Angeles to Denver run on Thursday and Friday of last week. We stopped at the same locations.
Nice 👍🏻 Yeah, it's a beautiful drive!
Im glad to see you back!! Hope to run into you one day!
Thank you 🙏
Looking forward to MN adventure videos.👍
Good to see you back! Hope to run into you in MN sometime!
Thanks 🙏 That would be great 😀
Bryan - I've had my model 3 for over 5 years and we've been seeing the same thing lately, particularly through the mountains. I don't know if it's the new update that considers battery age or what, but the trip planner navigation estimated seem way worse than it's been historically.
Interesting. Yeah, I usually only experienced it while in the mountains.
Weather update to the car changed the range!
I don't think that was it. Weather was perfect and it's done this numerous times before where it would say you can leave and you'll arrive with 20% only to drop to 5% minutes after leaving. This also happened with or without the rear cargo box (which only uses about 5% range.) In recent updates I haven't noticed it as much so maybe was just a glitch 🤷♂️ Appreciate the comment.
Welcome back. How was the European trip? Should we expect any euro clips in the future?
It was amazing!! I filmed a number of new videos there that will be going live in the next couple weeks. I had to take some time off to visit/help my parents who were going through some health issues, but am back at it full-time now 👍🏻 Thanks for watching!
When are you coming to the sun valley area in Idaho
I was in Idaho last year for a couple videos and hope to be back maybe later in the summer. Beautiful area!
Are you sure it isn't the box you have on the back effecting your "fuel" economy?
Nope. It’s not. It’s been thoroughly tested on my channel and only loses about 5% range. It’s done that wonky calculation a number of times over the years with or without the box. I see it most often in mountainous terrain. Recent updates seem to have solved it for the most part.
