"Piddly" essentially means small, tiny, and weak. It's pretty British, honestly, and I say that as someone who heard that word every day from my British mum growing up 😂. It's so fun to use.
I would love to have Quin in a dungeons and dragon campaign. I have a feeling he would either play a halfling or a goblin that will complete any side quest no matter what and will crawl on the ceiling of caves looking for a non-existing frog.

I know quin makes jokes about the koroks describing them like demons, but koroks are spirits and spirits as we have seen can be possessed...

Been rewatching the original botw playthrough while waiting for uploads, beautiful to see the Goblin Energy start to form only 3 episodes in
14:55 Rock octoroks actually had a gameplay retcon in ToTK. In BoTW, a rock octorok could crunch off the rust from rusty weapons and spit out any other hylian weapon type (Traveler's, Knight's, Soldier's, Royal, Royal Guard's). In ToTK, rock octoroks can't clean _any_ weapons (rusty, decayed, or otherwise) but they can do something much more useful: repair all weapon types!
They'll also add a modifier (no mod. -> 1st tier (blue/white), 1st tier -> 2nd tier (gold)). To balance this, each octorok can only repair one weapon per life, so you'd have to slay them afterwards and wait for a bloodmoon. (In BoTW they can eat indefinite rust. Mm.)
To get actual Pristine weapons, you need to break an unfused decayed version of that weapon (i.e. take your decayed Royal Claymore, unfuse any materials attached to it, and smash it to ground til it turns to dust). Then, if you run around the Depths for long enough, eventually you'll find a soldier ghost holding a pristine variant of any decayed weapon you broke. (If you see a soldier holding a weapon you don't want, make sure to Ultrahand it out of their hands so they can disappear to the Void and come back with a better gift.)

Maybe it's just been a hard day, but this video really did it for me. I had to take a laugh break after "I'm gonna eat them in front of her", so unnecessarily petty, so Link, Quin you never fail with the humor.

That Goron in the minecart you have to use rockets to rescue -- you can do that mission during the main quest while all the gorons are on drugs. He will be even ruder to you

*In today's episode of Tears of the Kingdom...*
When Quin says he's "doing side quests," he's actually building unsafe contraptions to test on children. Little Dugby wants to see Gorondia, and Link agrees to help him find it knowing fully well that "Lost Gorondia Discovered" was found all the way back in Episode 18 of this series. Quin's forgotten this, but that doesn't change Link's nefarious actions, sending children to toil in the mines uselessly for Hylia knows how long. It's fair karma, then, that Quin must walk all of Death Mountain multiple times to find various locales he knows little about. He circumvents the tedium of this with the occasional monster-hunting spree and treasure hunting glee... and building yet more contraptions to test on the innocents.
*Thus concludes our (mis)adventures for today!*

8:10 We haven't made much progress today, but we _did_ roll *Korok X* down a hill. Kinda funny.

_As a side-note, we've reached Episode 70 of this save file. BoTW's korok hunt started on Episode 61, with 97 koroks already in the bank. If we take ToTK's +100 korok proportion into account, ~107-108 koroks would be the supposed starting point. But 100 is a much rounder number…_
