As a villa fan and knowing how much he loved villa, I was incensed when we released him. But I'm so happy how it turned out for him in the end with Leicester whilst we deservedly got relegated without players like him. At villa he was the only player in the team that fought for the badge and we repaid him by releasing him.

He was the only player in that squad that played for the badge and we released him. I'm glad he won the prem and we got relegated making decisions like that.

@bhvillaman4401 don't get me wrong, he's praised for his part in the story. The statement, he's probably a God like figure is not true. His influence kept things calm and sustained the momentum we had achieved in the last 9 games of the previous campaign. Plus, we added Kante in the mix, and the rest was history.

My little brother went to watch Villa train years ago with my mom, and basically all the players signed shirts and balls for the kids at the end...
All the kids, including my brother, were all calling "Albrighton, Albrighton," and he was basically one of the only players to completely snub them all.
This man is as arrogant as all of the rest of them. Don't ever fool yourselves into thinking anything else about these disgusting people!
