Hello everyone. I recently saw this segment of the TV Show "JAIL", and since then have had some concerns as to how people are treated while they're processed after being arrested that I would like to address at this time and if possible, be allowed to hear your opinions, suggestions, etc., in regards to this situation itself.
My Main Concern is the way that the woman Rachel, after being observed acting in an uncooperative manner with jail personnel and subsequently temporarily put in holding cells as a consequence, was eventually told to sit in a waiting area in Immediate Proximity to Several men and was also at that time told not to talk to them at all which, to No Big Surprise didn't go well At All for her and actually got her into even More Trouble when, as an end result of her talking to at least 1 man seated Very near to her, caused her to be put into Yet Another holding cell consequentially, effectively worsening the entire situation as a whole in the process.
In light of all of this, it is Blatantly Obvious to me that the Better Option would have been to simply put her in a waiting area where she was Not So Capable of communicating with the men considering how she was still all too likely to not follow instructions after being put in the location that she was told to go to based on her all too recent previous Misconducting of herself In The First Place.
For example, a simple yet effective either stand alone or fixed partition placed in between the two seating areas could have and I believe Would Have been useable to deter men and women from talking to each other to at least Some Extent and if necessary, the jail officer posted nearby enough to where they could simply look up and see if one or more people were trying to do things like peek around the partition and/or still talk to the other people on the other side of the partition even though they couldn't see each other, etc., could then be additionally used to keep this sort of thing from happening that causes people to become "their own worst enemy" when they're caught up in a situation where they're already in too much trouble as it is to begin with only to have their lives further complicated by something like this happening.
Please let me know what you all think about this situation if you'd like to share your thoughts and opinions on this matter.
Thank You All Very Much!
I could not for the life of me, have to deal with people like this. I commend these officers!

@@scottsweeney5005 Your welcome.
4:04 I like how she puts that prison outfit on like it's just another weekend outfit. You could think the police station was her home away from home.
When they give her an enema to determine if she is hiding anything...she may or may not like it.
Lindsay Lohan needs to lay off the drugs and alcohol.
That's funny Lindsay Lohan
Yeah, Lindsey Lohan's a great role model- NOT!!
They are trying to give her a chance to act like a grown up. Sadly she can’t handle it.
Hi
@@chshanchshan326hi there I’m just checking to make myself aware of you ✋🏻😑
That man showed her so much patience. But honestly, if she could control herself in the cell, there was really no reason to let her out of it
They treated her fairly you can't expect them to break off every person and put them in a different waiting room that's just ridiculous . She knew what she was doing.

@@Rick-S-6063 No, he meant 'it's'. As in the possessive form, not as in 'it is'. If you are going to be the grammar police at least be 100% sure that you're correct.
@@Rick-S-6063 That's incorrect, it would have an apostrophe in it. Both in the OP's example and as it should in your's. You're right that it's not a contraction, it's a possessive use of an apostrophe. If you're using a possessive form on a plural you actually put it after the s, as in "Those are the kids' shoes."
The public education is a waste of time..............
That must be why she sounds so ignorant you would have to think that she didn't make it past the 6th grade

Rachel: I just want to get out. I don't want to be here.
Officer: By all means. Here are the keys to the front door.
Where was that poor girl raised?
She like a feral cat...
More like an alley cat with no morals !
If you don't want to get processed into jail, don't be a criminal.
You can be in jail awaiting trial.
If u dont like the way ur treated in jail dont do the crime
You never heard of innocent until proven guilty?
Besides, public intoxication is a very easy law to break. Even if you haven't drank that much
Oh right because you never been drunk in public everyone has
@@taylorjohnson9321Now I'm not of the legal age to drink but I am not going to because I think alcohol ruins lives and is a trap most people fall for for some reason or the other

She needs help more like
We'll give 'em just what they get in the big house - one cot, one blanket, one cracked mirror. Period.
m r officer , forget about rachel , the more you talk to her , the more she will play up ,
She may be pretty, after the lights are out..
To the poster of this video...
I read your remarks and, I have to say this, when you have an unlimited budget to design the holding area for the Las Vegas area, you go right ahead and build your version of the blatantly obvious solution...
I guarentee that, before it is halfway built, someone, (or, in this day and age, many someones), will be online criticizing your design and saying what is "blatantly wrong" with it... Despite them not really knowing what they're about...
The staff are following procedures, to keep her safe... She is the one not listening.
And they need to empty that cell because they only have so many of them. There is no telling when the next really nasty case will come in that would put everyone at risk.. It's like a hospital emergency department and waiting room (that you can't leave.)
And, frankly, the idea that you would seek to blame this woman's behavior on any other factors, besides her own choices, is an affront to my identity as a human being... let alone as a woman or, as a .. *sigh* ...feminist.
I really hate going down the gender or feminist road, but, if this were a guy, would you really feel the same and post the exact same comments?
Of course not, because, until now, you haven't. And this show has been on, and online, for well over a decade.
The fact is this... Where you have drunk and disorderly people, regardless of gender, they must be monitored, visually, at all times.
Jail is not about babysitting and hand holding. She should be able to control herself. It makes great TV that she doesn't choose to, but she isn't a figure of sympathy... SMH
The title and description about this video made me stop and watch, but, there's a term for what you've done here... what is that? Oh Right... CLICKBAIT!!
Also another point you've missed, you can't monitor what the inmates are doing efficiently if there are barriers.
4:40 She's seeing this whole thing as a social experience. I'm surprised she didn't sit on one of the male convict's laps.
She is me before I realized I had a problem with drinking lol!! Oh dear god the memories I wish the alcohol erased...

Blowing raspberries hilarious. She seems like a fun drunk
She said "breassess" 😂😂😂😂
Love you so much ❤️💕
Hopefully Rachel got sober and stopped drinking alcohol
she'll be in congress one day, if she survives the drama queen stage.
Maybe so but she's a big girl. She's capable of following simple directions. The being intoxicated part played the biggest factor.
That police lady is fine....
1 drink = 8 drinks
She doesn’t belong in jail in the first place.
Public intoxication. The cost cannot be freedom.
We can tell if she’s intoxicated by alcohol smiling at men explains why she’s drinking alcohol 🍷 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
These correction officers seem unusually kind.
Because the camera is rolling.
The Hispanic one was kinda unprofessional
Not a take home to mommy girl but for a weekend?
4:17 Is it just me, or does she look like she's starting to fancy the guard because she can't manipulate him???? Following him around willfully, like a little slave, and all.
The C.O.s union should negotiate the right to gag disruptive inmates like her and put a paper bag over her head too. She's having too much fun in jail.
5:35 Gotta love it when police stations have officers with faces like porcelain dolls, haven't you???? Is this station situated next to the town modelling catwalk, or something??????
I bet she’s now 35 with 6 mixed race children from different fathers
your a racist pile of shit
And probably weighs over 200 pounds.
mike sharkey lol it’s true not racist
With 15potential fathers for those kids.Lol
@Joe Orzech Lol I forgot about them....
She is as they said an attention grabbing person. Sad she can not behave like an adult, however, drugs/alcohol will often lead to the behaviors she is exhibiting.
What's sad is these COs can't treat her like a human being and act like they've never made a bad choice
Something about her is Very Strange and Powerful . I don't think them vatos would make it out of a room after she's done !
SHE BLEW A HELL OF A RASPBERRY
4:49 lmao ... This girl’s brain is the equivalent of a turnip.
Nah, I like turnips
Not that you are wrong here but it's not that simple. I have been in and out of jail alot to know what I'm talking about here. They probably don't have a partition for several reasons. if there's a partition then the guards couldn't see the inmates cuz it would be blocked. Maybe it's a safety issue. What if there is no money to do that? how are they going to pay for it? Not to mention that wouldn't solve anything because they would figure out a way to talk to other inmates. They get created. but mostly because most of them are intoxicated and intoxicated people do stupid stuff. Nobody likes jail and being in there while intoxicated. That's the biggest reason right there. You are right tho. Some correction officers abuse their authority. Not all do tho.
It looks more unfair to the police...they should be allowed to use their tazers all the time.
Rachel's picture is in Websters under " scumbag" definition
wasn't expecting that , damn
R.I.C. Racial identity crisis
Jail should be a learning experience, Rachel treating it like a fun night out. The officer should have put her in “the chair”
Pretty??? That’s his second head talking 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dam here in longmont colorado i was in boulder county you can talk to the guys and ladys whail your waiting.
This jail's operations and procedures are bad. It might've helped to seat her as far as possible from the men's section. I was in a jail where everyone was kept in holding cells and there was 1 for men and 1 for woman and they still managed to talk to one another by yelling.
Should they be even arrested? I mean - that's a violation of their civil rights surely? Are you kidding?????
What do you mean by that?
Her poor mama!
Cash me outside #2...
#1 this was in 2007.
I gotta admit you got under my skin Rachael.🤪👽👁
She just wanted to know if he was off the chain ahaaha 😂
I would give it a shot for rabbie's just to make sure!
That girl thinks she is gangster 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣Sit down.Betty crocker
That's some Lindsey Lohan shiz, lol
The headline of this post is laughable. The procedures aren't unfair at all. The deputies were very nice to her and offered her every opportunity to behave appropriately. She refused, and there were consequences for that. She owes the deputies an aology for her behavior, if anything. This is someone who can't act like an adult yet.
You try being locked up and everyone acting like your guilty of something before you went to court and it's for bullshit and act respectful
Some people like jail, this is an adventure for them. It's an ego boost.
I can see why government mercinaries like jail, because of the power trips they can get there!
Lol who the hell has jail be an "ego booster"?!? I literally cannot think of 1 person I've ever met in my entire life that has had jail be any sort of ego booster for em. Wtf kinda people do you know?! Lmao damn
You are dismissed!! 😂
What ever happened to this series it's never on anymore ???

police bail,? instead of having to take every single charged offender before a justice of the peace ?
I like those of you high and mighty judging others you don't even know. Ah the Internet. Bravo. 👍
Hope she did learn to listen. Even when your in jail. Because she wouldn't stop talking to other male inmates and mouthing the officer. It got her into more trouble.
Nice video. I think you description was longer. After saying all that, you couldn't tell us the location. I'm hoping you're not a career reporter. Keep it classy
All the guys were speaking to one another, why the fuck couldn't she? And why did they took her out of the cell while intoxicated?
There's cirtain procedures I hate mainly the confiscation of all arrestee's possessions and how they sometimes rough inmates up I know some arrested people provoke it but a bit of understanding should be standard and COs should stop taking arrestee's possessions I understand confiscating weapons and that but inmates should be allowed to keep their glasses, jewelry and area other personal belongings
I understand why you shouldn't have personal belongings while you are there. but i'm pretty sure they don't take your glasses. that's fucked up.
@@ILOVEMARILYNMANSON89 , Why shouldn't inmates be allowed to have any personal possessions?
By the way, I'm pretty sure they confiscate your glasses if the lenses are tinted.
If you don't like the way you have to do the time, then don't do the crime. Snowflake !
@@fjb4932 Technically, these people have not been convicted of the crimes there charged with yet, so why are they subjected to their possessions being confiscated when they haven't even been proven guilty yet? Aren't criminals meant to be punished AFTER they've been found guilty?
Yeah, it's even worse when it's for a victimless " crime " like tax evasion, owning guns, collecting rainwater, hunting and fishing without government permission, etc. There's just so many laws that many people arrested and jailed shouldn't be!
My question is what the heck was that ONE drink?
Probably Absinthe
Rachel may be young. But she definitely is not pretty.
Padded cell?
I had ONE.. too many.
Classy! 😂😂😂
definitely was not her first rodeo ......wearing cuffs....
Dont get arrested and wont have to worry about it.
It's not your choice to be arrested so it's not a valid argument people are arrested without commiting any crime daily

Hot? WTF?
She's damn lucky she wasn't put in a restraint chair! The officers were kind here but she's been here before & will be back again. She likes to play tough.
If she was my generation. She wouldn't be there Was born in 1956. Back in that time kids respect your parents and teachers and authorities kids still got in trouble but they got spanked not with Abuse Does to make your point. But this generation less to kiss get away with everything For example in my generation is the kid was a late everyday to school u On the report card I'm satisfactory I couldn't even the show up Late and get a note I had to explain why I'm late my mom had to write a note why. But today the schools don't do anything they just get Note From the officeNo consequences. The reason to the way it's run to wait is now California is run by Liberals.
2:40 Why is it that American police stations have nice, quiet cell doors?????? Looks pretty cushy compared to the police station I was at.
This is the actual jail, not just a police station. It's designed to house inmates.
She is pretty.? Where yhall from thats a drunk.
Prettiest girl in the trailer park lmao.. I bet she's unhappily married to her first cousin.
What type of fuckin logic is that ??? You dumb af . You tryna say she's not pretty due to the Fact she's Drunk like Wtf ??
So at 1:20 was her nipple up out of her shirt?

That's some B's everyone else can talk if they haven't been to trial yet you shouldn't be able to treat em like that

No
Good evening everybody I hope 🤞 you have a great 👍 day lol 😂
The officers were being as nice as they could. The girl didn't want to be in the cage, but she also didn't have the good sense to sit down and keep her mouth shut. The jail is not a place the officers can afford the slightest unruly or disruptive environment. The potential for a riot is simply too high. If you don't like the strict rules there, you probably shouldn't get arrested in the first place.
It's not your choice to be arrested people get arrested for crimes they didn't commit all the time it's happened to me before it can happen to you
@Tamaki Of course not. Nobody chooses to get arrested. But during booking is not the time to protest your innocence. That's what the courtroom is for. Order and discipline are the officer's best defense against fights and riots. The rigid rules in the jailhouse are for everyone's safety: officers AND inmates.
