I legit just got released and I’m binge watching these. I was only locked up for a day and I’m TRAUMATIZED
I’m happy I found one of those videos. Because it taught me to not to do the wrong things in public. Because being in jail or prison doesn’t look like fun.
they wake you up at 4am for breakfast? fuck that
8am wake you in british jails go to work back for dinner 11.30am, bang up till 2pm, back to work till 5pm, bang up till 6pm then evening meal, bang up for an hour then back out for association for an hour then banged up till following morning 8am
Jamie Murray because ive been there done it not proud of it . Been cool now though for 6 years. Never go back again :)
Good anyway I was only asking as my dad is always in and out of prison
Well you really didn't get the real feel being you weren't in general population!
I was arrested, and released in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan. I couldn’t believe how crazy half the people in the holding cells were, banging their flip flops on the glass, screaming at the top of their lungs, striping naked.... jail is no fun place. I’m glad I was released by judges orders that day. When the booker told me “well son, you won’t be getting served lunch..” I was like “uhh.. just couple cups of water will do, and I hope I’m not being jailed beside the dude banging his flip flops...” he said “no, you are being released” I couldn’t believe it. Even the officers were extremely respectful. Upon being released they only cuffed me in front to escort me back to my vehicle. Front seat ride in the cruiser and all. When I was originally arrested they even asked if I’d like double cuffs so I’m comfortable. Yes I screwed up, but I completely respected their line of work,
I had a similar situation. I was arrested for a bullshit fight so I wasn't expecting to be in jail for long you know. But they had brought sandwiches to the holding cells(in the precinct) and gave each of us 2. I took a bite out of it and was like man f this ima wait.. then once everyone's papers were sent over they came to get us to move to the jail. But they called my last name lol and was like no charges filed. I felt good as hell lmao moreso glad I wasn't in the same situation like the other 2 guys who were getting transferred, kuz they were pissedd. We were already dressed still so they just gave me my bag n what not nd let me exit through the front of the police station, while they handcuffed the other 2 to be transferred.
This is like a heaven for hardcore gamers. Just give them a PC and they will live there 24/7.
Yeah, I don't think they get a PC. I wonder if you'd say that if you actually experienced it?
Man I have issues of doing bad things but in my brain it tells me it really isn’t that bad so this video makes me want to work harder on my issue before i end up in there thank god I found this video 🙏🏻
Start writing in a journal. Pick a fantasy character, that is all wise, and all loving - mine is called "Coach". When you write about yourself and your problems and your thoughts, ask "Coach" what he things about it. And what he says. This process will help you get rid of any bad thoughts that you may have in your head.
I got a call from my BirthMom back around 2004 - 2005 I( forget wich Year it was ) called me and said Son BirthDad was arrested again. I said What did he do now? She tells me He was Driving while Drunk but its not his fault The Damn Police wouldnt have found out if His Car had Brakes. And ur Little Sister has ur BirthDads brains. I was half asleep but I replied Really? then whats BirthDad using? Both BirthParents were Alcoholics BirthDad died on August 2005 a few weeks after My Birthday . Did My BirthParents Like Jail? is that the reason They went non stop?
the us jails are so dumb... how are bad people supposed to better themselves in a bad environment, there is no education or learning just sitting wasting your life in a brick cell I would literally rather die than have to spend my life in that hellhole.
and people are trying to get RID of the death penalty! you know what they say, "You commit the crime you pay the time."
but you really think someone who raped and killed a little girl or such, deserves to be in paradise? that's like saying if you murder someone you should spend an eternity in the Bahamas. it doesn't make sense. they deserve every last bit of jail time. they knew what was going to happen if they did this or that.
murfee 123 Thank you! Someone finally understands me. And my dads a cop
The worst part is any one of us could end up there for something we didn't even do.
First of all statistically the death penalty has not been shown to help deter crime and may possibly exacerbate it. Secondly, let's focus on why many people are in jail? Do you think people who do petty marijuana crimes deserve to be put in prison with sex offenders, murders, rapists, and people who commit appalling crimes? I'm not saying everyone deserves a second chance but to just say you're a criminal is not just on the same level, people who can be saved need to be saved, corrected, and be put back into life as a good citizens. There are of course those who are sex offenders and serial killers that deserve to be put away or to death.
I would troll the prison guards by hiding in the corner so they can't see you when they check on you
That sandwich looked kinda good actually 😂😂😂
Idubz Hard R my dad is in jail for 8 months I'm watching these to see what my dad is going through
Idubz Hard R LOL! Exactly what I thought too! The rest of the meals were ok..
Orange is the new black
I would turn insane being in a jail...

wow at least the prison in usa has beds.
@@georgiana1147 not true in America they required to give you a bed to sleep on that's just the law in America
Yeah in America they're required by law to give to give you a bed in prison
She got the watered down version. Obviously that still ain't fun but in the real 1 is gonna be a million times worse. Sharing with 3 other people she doesnt know, having to be in Genpop, and possibly spending several days locked up.
She was safe in solitary. Imagine what it would be like to add in the mix being in 'regular' jail with other inmates.
I got arrested once in my early 20s now I’m 45. I had to stay overnight and trust me I learned my lesson. I have never broken the law again. 😂
I just feel bad for the ones who go in there for something they didn't know was illegal. Not everyone is aware of all laws

Simply put, I think it would be incredibly ignorant of someone who would get caught up in a situation like this. 99% of the time. I know there are always some exceptions!
Better than being hungry sleeping on a park bench.
if i became homeless id just steal food, go to jail and boom free food, clothes, toilet, water, and bed
*****
if i was homeless id steal a bunch of food and go to jail for it during winter
+Looking for a candle in the dark i cant believe im saying this but im glad they steal, i hate havingharmless/nonviolent people die
Coming from someone That was homeless for a couple years, homeless isn't bad depending on where you are. Major cities have programs where you can get food, clothes, medical, etc. You can meet up with other hobos, choose to camp in a group or go solo. There's ways to make money legally. Avoid shelters, unless you're a junkie. What happens eventually is you'll find it hard to readjust to societal norms in the sense that being inside makes you feel claustrophobic. That's why so many that get off the streets, choose to go back on them.
Phadre M What about if you live in a mountain region? Its really cold in winters. I live near the Smokey Mountains in Townsend, Tn. and might be homeless soon!
“No wait, It was only supposed be one night”. Guard: That’s what they all say lady’
What about people who are wrongly convicted?
They unfortunately are stuck with the people who are rightfully convicted.
Looking for a candle in the dark yes, but some are innocent though
technology productions 2018 actually most accept plea deals. And then they cant. They use scare tactics.
technology productions 2018 imagine doing months in a box like she did. I did. It makes u lose urself
it'll be nice for a lot of people to be able to experience this
I wish my stay in county was like this. food was inedible, 24hr lockdown, no books, lights never shut off.....
I've been in a psycthtric hospital locked up and it's like jail still.
You don't get eat when you want to you don't get to take shower as much
The breakfast is way better than mine
Asks for a day in jail. Ok. Gets sent to Beyond Scared Straight. Lol!😂🚓
Where can I apply as an inmate? It's better than being homeless.
Funny enough Im writing a book on slavery and the logic of your mindset is exactly how I start off the story.

I would sing heathens in jail. Might as well make the best of it lmao 😂
I would literally go crazy...I freak out being in little rooms
I am the same way You think that till you get there and have no choice you just learn to relax because freaking out and screaming and yelling and having an anxiety attack is not gonna help its only gonna make it 30 times worse
Those jail slides look legit. I wanna cop a pair
Having to go to school+high school+collage is basically a 20 year prison sentence.
dont mind me asking but are there air con in cells?
I always thought prison was a vacation until I’ve seen these videos
"a lot of carbs" oh god,. yeah this lady is clueless
Carbohydrates turn into sugar in your body.. like processed sugar which is so bad for your organs. Some people choose to eat healthy and most people should, its what runs our cells and keeps us awake and active
“That’s a lot of carbs” LMAO
I can’t even drink apple juice anymore.. That’s what they gave us with EVERY meal when I was in prison. Lol
No way! Sounds like fun! :D
+Brennan's Channel and? youll only be alive less than 200 years so those other years are pointless since you wont be alive, so its just prison for life
honestly it is fun to not have anything to do....but when you don't have anything to do you start getting agitated and anxious constantly....i never been to jail but at times I would feel like i was of use to nobody so i just sat in my room all day having nothing to do other than think, go online sometimes (and get off because it was boring) etc.........the part of jail that is bad isn't so much the cell but the lack of anything to do and social communication and feeling like you are "cut off"
Its not very fun but can be if its something you need to go through in a way
I feel so bad for my sister!😭😭
She was locked up in prison for 3 years!😭😭 When she told me about i felt so bad for her...and it's harder for girls in prison... my sister was discriminated and abused by guards.....she was harrased by other inmates...I feel so bad for her 😭 I hope she never goes to prison again it's horrible 😭
I am so sorry to hear of this and I can imagine what you are going thru, I pray to God that she comes back safe to you and from here on end, you enjoy life , YES you can, please be careful and enjoy the life you have and NOT in jail
the things journalist do for us, thanks Rikki
The music makes me wanna go even more at the start
Apparently most people don't hate it. They keep going back over and over.
I definitely do what it takes to stay TF out!!
I definitely agree with this.. I don’t get how people get out and do the exact same stuff that landed them in there.
I got outta jail this morning. This place looks like heaven compared to the county jail in Jacksonville Florida. I cried for 8 hours. I had a warrant that was 3 years old I had no idea about. And got pulled for speeding that’s when I found out. Never been to jail but once. 3 years ago and they put me right back. Long story short. I was drunk Me and my husband x now were fighting he broke my rib well I punched him in the face in front of a cop Bc I had Enough so I got charged with domestic violence . Tbh it was terrible they didn’t give me changes of clothes. My roomie bleed through her pants they made her wear it for 5 hours. She got blood on the sheets I gave her mine. . They treated me like a animal. Was a horrible experience the worst part is they had a clock in there and it was set to the wrong time. And they would literally cuss you out if you asked what time it was. Food was horrible. It was the worst experience of my life.

A poem for the broken...
Not everyone is hurt unto the point of no return
Some heal the anger of their heart while others let it burn.
Some let the pain destroy their soul
Some even lose their life
While others fight to be made whole
and break the chains of strife
Not everyone is broken to the depths of great despair
Some climb up out the darkness while others linger there.
Some let the fear control their mind
Some even let it win
But you are not the broken kind
So stand up once again!

How Can I do the same thing
I was in jail in 8 1/2 months, it sure did changed my life for the better and rehabilitated me! But I'm never going back, it a whole different world in there. I got released June 19th 2020, as of writing this I've been free about 7 months and I'm a little over 6 months pregnant. On probation for 3 years, probation does help me and keep me in check. I also have the most lenient probation officer and she never really checks in with me, she lets do whatever I want. Only thing I can't do is drugs and alcohol, which I have no interest in that.
Except the pretty blonde news talker isn't getting the same treatment as someone right off the streets.
Prison lunch still looks better than my school lunch
She looked so freaked out in the mugshot

it sucks. i was in county for less than a week, can't imagine even doing 30 fuckin days.

2.45 wow what an informative book
I’ve been on a psych ward at the VA a handful of times…the boredom (weekends especially) is the most difficult thing.
Not having privacy, having rules, pooping in public, none of that bothers me, its the boredom. Ive never been locked up in jail but i have been arrested and taken to psych lock up. The clothes didnt fit me, so i was in my underwear without socks and i was freezing cold. I asked for a blanket and they refused it and eventually brought a thin sheet. I put it over my face to warm my nose and the guard told me to put it down, i refused and 4 guards fought with me for 5 minutes or so. They took my sheet. So i was in there for about 30 hours, mostly naked. Its the other lunatics i dont like in there. They are loud and obnoxious all the time and very boring, no tv or radio. In jail, you have general pop which would suck on another level
Wait so she didn't really get arrested? She was just a reporter to see what it's like in jail right?
Wow she got the Hilton version
When u first get arrested, they tell u "if you don't wanna be told what to do, don't come to my house"
"I read a book to pass the time"
What book was it? The blank book of Jesus
FUNNY STORY [FAKE]:
Me: *Writes Scratch ideas on paper*
Guards: *Reads it*
Also Guards: WHAT IS SCRATCH? YOU'RE TOO OLD FOR SCRATCH!!!
Me: No I'm not, Scratch is for everyone!
Guards: Also there's a system in your "game" you're planning to make where players can break the law and get arrested?!
Me: Yes, if you cheat in the game, you get arrested for a random amount of time and you can either wait it out, reset the game, or play an escape minigame.
Guards: You better not be thinking about escaping!
Me: No I'm not, it's an idea of something I want to add to a game I'm making on Scratch that is sort of a punishment system for people who cheat. I'm planning to add it after I get out of jail.
Is this just a experiment or did you telly go to jail?
Not being able to pay bills, the hardest part.
Doesnt count when they put you in PC.. you have to interact with the inmates if you want the real jail experience.
OMG 😱 I HAD TO BREAK OUT THE CRYING TOWELS ❗️😭 BOOHOO ❗️
I got arrested for public intoxication and I only spent a day in there and it felt like a week, I'm trying to stay good. I was 21 and they had me in a brown vest naked in a cold room
why don't people read books?
Honestly I would love being in a jail to read all the books I never seem to have the time to read in the outside world due to distractions such as watching this video.

I Am So Glad I Have Never Been To Jail ...
I don’t know, in the future I’d like to get a look inside jail, I wonder how you convince them to let you see what it’s like
If you're arrested and you happen to have a book on you (I always have at least one) do they let you keep and read it?
AmusedChild They probably do, they might but they'd probably make sure what the book is about and that its a book and there's no hidden messages or escape plans
Heck no. They don’t let you take anything in with you. Only the clothes you are wearing (until you are issued a jump suit)
I want to experience being a prisoner for at least once in life just to see how it feels
