Thrifting Barbies - A Blast from MY 80’s Past!

This bodacious Barbie doll came out during my own childhood in 1993 - but if you were old enough to remember 1993, you already know it was basically the 80’s! I was so excited to clean up this thrift store Barbie doll and return her to the excellent doll she once was!
This one was incredibly nostalgic for me.

Thank you! I was so nervous. I really wanted them to look good. It felt important to keep the late 80s/early 90s integrity of the doll and the bangs seemed integral to that process 😂.

As a yarn spinner, I figured that Barbie hair fiber needed to be straightened to lie flat. I dont know if dollar tree still sells cat/dog metal tine brushes, but they do wonnders as barbie hair detanglers. The hair came out wonderfully.
