I feel like Mojang is somewhat too stubborn when being against some of these mobs. Their reasoning is understandable for the most part, but they could easily make work arounds.

Spiders are real, but spiders as large as a human are exclusive to fantasy. Or Australia, which is also fantasy.
Spiders don't typically attack or bit humans, and Minecraft's spider is a mutant spider, it's too big (not including the bee)
For real, did they even know that polar bear are like the most dangerous type of bear that actually hostile to human. Heck even dolphin are the most fu*ked up animals compared to shark
We have big bee too and it's not fantasy mob (I talk about size since you guys said big spider is fantasy)

Solution for the shark problem, Mojang.
Just make it a neutral mob(attacks only when you attack it). Like the wolves and bees.
Or if you're carrying raw meat. I believe that would be cool imo.

Alligators are a lot more “docile” than crocodiles. I think alligators should be added and could function exactly like polar bears, except when the player holds food they become hostile

The mob vote ones (kraken, blaze king thingy, and ground turtle) hurt the most for me. They all seemed like great ideas and especially with the blaze and kraken, they had revamps of the ocean and nether in future updates. If we had known these plans I bet the community would of voted differently and these new mobs would be a fun boss to fight in-game.
The should have like a "second chance" mob vote. 4 of the rejected getting a chance to exist.

@@sathanyam2193 During the day they're neutral, but at night (or in darkness) they're hostile. So spiders are a hostile mob.
What about silverfish?
I live in Australia, where we know crocodiles and sharks are dangerous. But dolphins are just as dangerous as sharks, but they can be that way for fun, not just for hunting. I can see the reasoning for some of the mobs not being added, but for some others, it feels a little unfair.

Yeah, they would get a much wider audience by adding more famous mobs, they are turning down multiple offers to make their game even more popular.

Bet. I added the illager golem and villager knights to make a make raids more interesting. The illager golem is made of coal blocks and a carved melon. It is slightly weaker than an iron golem, they have 20 less hearts, but they shoot projectiles.
People actually did. That's how Skip gets the videos of the rejected mobs.

I remember reading about the red dragon as a kid, along with rubies and some other stuff. Back then you could scroll to the bottom of the minecraft wiki and find articles relating to these things, I used to get so excited thinking it might mean they’d be added in the next update
The mob I want that I’m not sure will ever happen is the Butterfly.
I’m not sure why I want this, but I think it would be very cool to have butterflies and moths!
I will never get over the Phantom beating the Monster of the Ocean Depths. Never.
The ghost miners sounds an awful lot like the "Fairies" in Terraria.
Except late game fairies don't do anything. as when you max out your 400 hp and have full 500 from life fruit they only find heart cyrstals you don't need

Hey, I have an idea.
Don't make Sharks and Alligators/Crocodiles hostile. Make them neutral, since animals aren't naturally hostile, they only attack if they feel threatened or hungry

@@sathanyam2193 Wolves don't actively hunt humans. They typically shy away from people actually! Most animals want nothing to do with us unless we practically go "FREE MEAT HERE COME GET ME" (no predator will toss up a free meal, but they normally avoid us because we're normally not free but instead fight back and they don't know wtf we are as we're not part of their ecosystem of things they eat), polar bears are probably the only ones who attack humans on sight even from a distance..they don't fear us and it makes sense when you look at how big they are and the fact they have to eat what they can to survive loosing a meal isn't good for them.

I remember when Mojang considered adding the pigman villagers. I always thought it was such a creepy idea - just consider the fact that Steve is completely alone in an infinite world and the closest thing to a civilization is a village inhabited by pigmen. I never liked the current villagers either, but it's a much better idea than pigmen.
I mean, that's just don't starve. Alone except for the monsters and the pig people
I can imagine to fix controvesy, the sharks only get agressive if you come to close to them or if you attack first. They could be pacified for a short time using fish.
There are so many ways they could fix it it's almost insane
though mojang would think it would make people irl actually try to feed sharks head on with fishes
if sharks exist in Minecraft and using real life logic dolphins could actually protect you from sharks considering the fact that they can punch shark's gills with their nose so imagine going into a Minecraft Ocean and finding a dolphin just ramming into a shark and then you can just watch the ultimate underwater fight 🐬🐬🦈🦈
They could make a crocodile which is aggresive when too close to its egg and when the babies grow uo they could be docile

Realistically, sharks should be neutral. Irl, sharks won’t attack you (unless it’s a tiger shark) if you don’t hurt or annoy it. So, sharks should be minecraft. It would be quite cool.
Im betting my entire life savings Mojang has a genuine fear of this idea, because it's such a simple solution for everyone to be happy. The playerbase gets their beloved sharks, and Mojang doesn't have to fear that a 7 year old playing Minecraft will grow up to be a shark hunter 💀💀💀
instead of the red dragons being in the overworld, they should have made them in the nether as some sort of friendly beast to help you find fortresses or something along those lines
I think we got enough nether updates already it really doesnt need anymore although the idea is actually pretty good
@@lastcat617 the Nether is topped off for updates. Mojang should *very soon* focus on the other dimension that is starved for an update
Personally my only problem with the shark mob not being added is the fact they are afraid that making them friendly and making them aggressive would either make people feel comfortable and safe around sharks, or encourage people to hunt them, they could just make them one of those mobs that eat other animals and not the player, but when you attack them they attack kind of mob, similar to the wolves of Minecraft.

@@dr.oddgaming7089 They're only neutral when there is enough light, in darkness they're hostile
Sharks would work best as a "neutral" mob like the Enderman or Zombie Pig(man)lin, in that they are mostly peaceful, except when a certain criteria is met. They could "nip" curiously at swimming players or boats, and unlike the Enderman or Zombie Piglin, curioussharks could be repelled simply by bopping them on the nose. They could even work similarly to foxes, being able to pick up and eat loose items floating in the water.
The “eating loose items” thing would make a lot of sense too, given that sharks tend to have a lot of inedible junk in their stomach.
To be honest the bear trap mob was a very good idea, I think they would be way better than the phantoms.
It's actually disappointing how many mods people have made with these features yet all the devs can give us for 1.19 is some delayed cave stuff and one new biome. Oh yeah, and an alley which lets be honest is way more nuisance to use than some hoppers.
Yeah the first mob vote is way better because in a speedrun if you lose your stuff it will guide it to you

Hiring pigmen as bodyguards works great in Don't Starve until the full moon comes and they become monstrous.
Mojang could've done something similar.... Oh, well.
I'm still mad the phantom won out of all those mobs, but even though I think the sea monster would've been the best, I would never go into the water again.

The dolphin one makes sense, I've heard cases where people beach dolphins trying to ride them and then the dolphin dies from the abuse, so it's best that mojang doesn't encourage that behavior
Because as we all know, if the square world game allowed you to ride an animal, all the 10 year olds who play the game would start commiting mass genocide of the real animal because that's how it works.
Yet people have tried it despite not seeing it in minecraft first.

If sharks were added they'd most likely be neutral because most shark attacks are provoked because the shark thought the human was a threat or meal mostly because humans might have wore something shiny and the shark thought the human was a fish so mojang could make it so sharks attack you if you where gold iron or diamond armor or if your armor is enchanted or if you hit the shark so in conclusion if sharks were added they only attack if your holding something shiny in your hand or have gold iron or diamond armor or if you where something enchanted

I think a rideable mini dragon would work much better than elytras, you’d get to keep your chest plate, a new mount, and it’d look majestic. Elytras are one of the two things ppl go to the end for, but having to find the mob, tame it, get custom end saddles, find local food for it, and transport it back, would work much better imo.

I kind of get the having no hostile mobs being real life animals, but come on. It’s a game that isn’t meant to be taken seriously and some of the animals would make great additions to the game. Also, Polar Bears are one of the only animals if not the only animal that actively hunts humans in real life

1. whale sharks are completely harmless to humans they only eat. plankton and fish.
2. you can dive with MOST shark species with organized boat crews.
these are hostile sharks in minecraft. I get what you are saying but you still shouldn't let a kid play with a shark, unless you KNOW its good
@@stromegy5792 well yes, there definitely sharks that you should not swim with (and if you are swimming with sharks always have a backup plan) but as long as you know what you’re doing and have a open water certificate. you should be fine. I’m just a person trying to stop the shark stereotypes. Obviously a kid DEFINITELY shouldn’t swim with a shark. The same thing applies to adults if you are alone. NEVER EVER SWIM WITH A SHARK ALONE.

The red dragon if it ever comes should be a dragon for the nether that spawns near nether fortresses and small ones near bastions.

Lets be honest; every reason against the mobs is stupid. For example, saying they won't do sharks to avoid influencing violence towards real sharks is as stupid as saying video games inspire shootings. Mob vote mobs? No acceptable reason to never introduce the losers. The devs make some really dumb choices, and the game is worse off as a result. Their recent video that "justified" why they take so long to make one thing when modders can make ten or more things of equal or better quality was just an excuse for laziness. They need to just let loose and have fun rather than chain themselves to arbitrary rules that don't make sense.
I demand justice for the copper golem. Allays were a mistake.
The shark thing i believe has president because people know that shooting humans is wrong but we are told so often that these big dumb adorable fish are dangerous. When jaws came out it caused a trend that has caused massive damage to shark populations
Dude idk a single Java player who has seen herobrine for real but I think Monjang wanted to mess with bedrock because I know multiple people who play bedrock and have seen like a flicker of a Steve with white eyes, including myself. I believe they intentionally left this out of logs to mess with us.
