I love the choice of using a mist of white spray paint over the silver on the door pulls. It gives a frosted blur that softens the harsh bright of the metallic. It "pearlizes" the hardware which is more companionable with the luminosity of milky white on the wood.
it's one of the prettiest dressers I've ever seen.. if not THE prettiest. :)

pinksofoxy Yes , you don't know how much I would like that, my first project is my bedroom. I consider myself quite a creative person but maybe not in the home decorating area , I can never make a decision on anything and takes me ages to even choose a colour scheme , so yes you would be a great help. Maybe I should move to Maui lol, at list the weather there is much better than here in the UK.

I painted my bed and dresser exactly alike. The one thing I will say is, the sealant that I used make the finish turned yellow. How sad I was. I found out that it's better to use water base polyurethane. Oil base turned the color yellow. I repainted the furniture, and use water base. What a joy.
Love it! The colors are so pretty and I never thought to paint the inside of drawers. I'm so going to do this when i find the dresser I want.

I adore these type of videos. I like how your channel has been a mix of life. Many times I skip through makeup demonstrations on other channels. Especially when everyone is using the same new palette. I love Tide Pools on the inside of the drawer & the outside. I'd love a room painted in that shade. Unfortunately I live in an apartment & have to keep the same boring off white walls. Accessories in that shade would be a wonderful find. Your always so inspiring. I see this was done in 2014. I was considering painting the inside of some drawers but worried about them getting scraped up from wear. How is the inside paint holding up for you?

turned out so beautiful, if your drawers seem to stick since you've painted them you can run a candle on the drawer edges and the inner rails of the dresser to help them slide better. I use canning wax. it comes in a block and is clear. it really helps your furniture not stick if you live in a humid area like I do. i may have to apply it once every 1 or 2.

I love the pattern that the hardware makes when you painted it out. Didn't notice it with the natural wood but with the light colour it's a really nice symmetrical circular pattern that creates added interest :) Thanks!
