Please use the correct navigation tool ( Bottom left gadget ) and make sure your aiming at the drone at all times. I can easily do 7+ Km on my mini 2 with a 2/3 out of 5 signal bars with FCC on. The way your pointing your remote upwards will cause a huge decrease in range, you have to point it forward and towards the drone which means the remote has to be flat.
It’s the same. You can test your mini 3 drone in Malaysia, it sucks here. When you test in other country with the same drone it fly further in Hong Kong, USA, etc. and NOT in Malaysia 😂

I'm shocked! But this explains why there's been no range test by the big Drone CZcamsrs. This will hurt sales, unless they fix this! My Mini 2 has better range!
My Mini 2 flies over 4km over Sofia City and I still have an excellent connection, just scared to fly further.. I love my Mini 2, I don't use obstacle avoidance at all, i prefer to know where I fly. 😁 Sweet Keep well and be safe everyone

But youtube does that for you... enable closed caption (CC) and on Setting choose Indonisian (auto generated -> English) and there are your english subtitles (95% correct at least)
I'm not happy they've switched the GNSS system from GLONASS to Beidou in the Mini 3 Pro because the latter isn't available in many parts of the world.... it should always be GPS+GLONASS+Others

The front of the controller needs to be lower. There are the panel antennas. It has to point in the direction of the drone! You hold it elsewhere, up in the sky, but not in the right direction. That does not work! The controller says "adjust antennas" but you didn`t.

you are not VLOS , you are observing by the screen pointing with antenna pointing @30 degrees in the air ,, your drone is well past 600 meters , your RC antenna needs to be pointing at the drone 70 to 80 degrees trajectory , on a lower trajectory as the the Drone is at lower trajectory in the sky at distance 🤷♂️,,
Mini 2 seems that havê beter range, mini 3 did not even got 2 km, and this softare that limits 120 m it sucks, i was expecting more, i will keep my mini 2.

There are many problems with the "test". Transmit power is lower on pre-released DJI firmware because DJI does not want creators range testing. Also might be on the CE policy, but not sure. The range will be much better, unfortunately this video is incredibly misleading.

I try this during pre-release firmware. For now maybe DJI already fix this problem.

Pre-Release Firmware lower TX power therefore restricts distance because DJI terms of Pre-Release testing states no range testing.

Why are you pointing the transmitter into outer space? Patch antennas are directional , try holding it horizontal 😁

It appears you might be pointing the controller angled up too much, which could reduce the antennas performance.
At this short distance the pointing of the tx doesn't really matter that much...

Actually it’s depends on the area / place. And for the height limit, it can go up to 500 metres but in this video i just set below 120 meters
