one thing I love about Arlecchino is that the pyro infusion dont go away even if you swap. And not time gated. it really helps lighting those puzzle torches faster in the overworld
@@IronGiant2790 Yup, incredibly flexible. Can swap in and out, and can dodge attacks without ruining a combo. I have always used zhongli on characters but it's so much more fun to play her with chevruesse overload, as I love the feeling of memorising attack patterns and dodging, sooo satisfying

Even with him being interrupted, hadn't you pressed his E after only one stack, leaving him unable to one-cicle the boss without his stacked E he could've cleared it way earlier. Using Benny's burst again was also a DPS loss. I think that rotation should've been redone :|
@@danahassan3038 If you look again at the start of the rotation it was there, but he pressed it before Q with only ONE stack. That's why Lyney's rotation got messed up

it is absolutely incredible how there's so little powercreep in genshin. It's all the difference of a few seconds and can change depending on teams, equipment, and rotations. Rotations might be the biggest factor at play when all the characters are equal damage potential. For all of their faults, hoyo is taking great care not to massively increase powercreep while also pumping out so many unique and interesting units. It's actually kind of impressive for a gacha game.
Are you drunk? Genshin has reverse Power creep where the best units were out at release and it has started to have actual Power creep now with Neuv and Arle . If you think that Hu Tao neasures up to Arlechino , you are insane .

Arlecchino is literally a beast. Her damage is insane and she doesn't required any skills to use, just spam your auto attack and everything dies. My Arlecchino is at c0r1, her talent is 9-6-6 and she is using galidiator which is not her bis artifact, but she is already stronger than my c1r1 Hutao, talent 10-10-9, with a top 2% crimson artifact on Akasha.

i got downvoted into oblivion on the genshin subreddit for daring to tell all the recency bias affected folks that arle and lyney were surprisingly similar in their dps. or that hu tao with her ideal vape team not only matched arle but was possibly stronger then arle. depends. i don't think this test here proves much since he didn't try other c0 teams for arle. still this was a pretty good showcase for how relevant vape hu tao still is.

@arizona_anime_fan arle doesn't even have max talents. At 6/6/6 arle is on par with hu tao and with cons she's getting stronger. While hu tao, full built, is barely keeping up in most cases on top of the need to perfect cancel and perfect jump during the combos which is NOT player friendly [even less so for mobile players] Arle IS the better unit compared to hu tao. Lyney is on par with Atle with the range advantage but also easier self sustaining and taunts in the kit but she is still stronger in close based combat.
In this vid, especially the c0 comparison… lyney one hasnt even show his full potential. Like the rotation was wrong and someone did like 6-10 sec faster for each run with the exact team.

Because of her double scaling HP+atk She gets more offensive stats tha most characters. For examples the flowe piece which is useless offensively for most characters is equal to 297atk for hutao
Hoyoverse also hasnt released a 5 star pyro character whose main reaction is Vape that is better than Hu Tao. Yoimiya wasnt as strong, Lyney was for monopyro and Arlecchino is flexible can be used in both vape and overload. Although I have C6 Gaming with Furina and Xianyun and I think he is as strong or stronger than my C1R1 Hutao

yeah man game is very balanced at c0 and all these kids barking in the comments are too poor for constellations and signature and act like they own C6R5.
Also worth noting that these tests are specific to the situations of the test. It doesn't really test things like how comfy the character is, or which handles longer fights with spread out enemies best, and so on. So that's something to consider on top of just how much power cons and such add.
Lyney is so underrated. EN fandom did not give him the recognition he deserves. Im so glad other fandoms do tho! Like how Lyney is considered the best pyro dps before Arlechinno released in JP fandom. The speedrunner i followed was asked if Lyney is a top pyro dps, the speedrunner corrected him with "top dps*", implying that he is not only the a top in his element but as a dps in general. Unfortunately, he did not get much a chance to shine since Arlechinno was released soon after. Lyney is the first dps that I genuinely had a "wow" reaction after trying him out, and i try almost all dps since i have access to different accounts. The sheer power his nuking ability holds never fails to surprise me. EN fandom argues about HuTao vs Arlechinno. For me, its Lyney vs Arlechinno.
mostly because charge attacking2 with bow is kinda boring in Genshin, Ganyu can be pardoned because her Q made her have more flexible use, which is very useful in early Genshin.

I can see and understand how it gets annoying though, but I find it manageable considering he does not need much on-field time (more manageable than Yoimiya and GanYu imo). He does have some quickswap-like trait on his kit. I do look forward for more supports that synergizes well with Lyney though. Would love to have a ranged off-field pyro dps to replace xiangling. Looking at where Genshin is now going with their kits, they're now focusing on niches. Hoping for a unit that synergizes well with units like Lyney.
Fr Dehya is the best character in this whole game, best design, best burst animation, who gives a f about dmg in a game without endgame , i would actually rather losing the 50/50 to her than getting a limited 5 star
Would be cool if actual pyro archon(gnosis holder) was benny all along:) there is theory that he rebirth of phoenix who held pyro gnosis given by last pyro archon and backstory of benny kinda match situation, skirk mentioning unluck what gnosis bring with them
Based on the kit of the last two playable archons, Pyro archon will be most likely 60% XL + 40% Benny. Elemental skill is off field dmg and burst is a buff, or vice versa.
Is not a real C0, just mimic c0. When he charge atk it doesn't consume stamina. I've done jump cancel with both c0 and c1, with c1 you can weave in more CA.

Legit, I'd have bought so many more constellations if I could just turn them on/off... I don't always like steamrolling things but once you've gotten too strong, it's impossible to go back with some characters

In c6 showdown 2, you waited 5 seconds to collect blood dept with arle. Couldn't you just collect immediately (c2 I believe allows that, the mark starts out big right away) and safe 5 seconds lowering the time to 3 seconds?
lyney is quite impressive, I pulled him just because I like how he is and I am a collector but never really built him. either way, I love all three characters and I am glad to have them! they are comparable in my opinion. I am enjoying building my Arlecchino and playing her cause i love the sycthe and she is just the most comfortable pyro DPS. also that Arlecchino NUKE was just sexy! with a snap of finger, dead

Yup, and also whoever's play style you like most. Some people think Arlecchino's BOL being too complex, while others think charge spam or charged bow to boring. Heck, many prefers Yoimiya easy pew pew pew spam.

@@ArnvalArn Well, cons will give you quite a bit faster than a few seconds. The increase in power provided by cons is pretty high. Added to that, there are certain thresholds you cross that can have a very big impact, like being able to take the wolf lord out without ever reaching his totems, or doing damage so fast that the dancing duo's ability to damage you back doesn't matter. Of course, it can also kind of backfire. Like my Navia, Chiori, Yae, Furina team has a tendency to kill most things so fast that Navia is often not used. So there, a lower con version of the team could get more use of their Navia to close the gap. But that said, the rewards are binary. Either you make the time for 3 stars or you don't. So yup, might as well use whoever you want that can accomplish whatever your goal is.
The fact that Hutao’s name is always brought up when determining dps strength speaks for itself 😘 of course with the future and more op constellations nowadays she’ll fall behind but most of yall don’t have c6 lol anyways play who you want!

(Hint: 0:36) And what does having no ICD have anything to do with Yoimiya not being chosen? There was a poll made to feature two most voted Pyro DPS and Yoimiya is in that list. It's a foregone conclusion that Hu Tao is still better than Yoimiya, and Hu Tao appears to have a similar playstyle of that of Arlecchino that's why she's the top vote. It's also just Lyney get the second most votes, since in all grand scheme of things he can equally perform if not better than Hu Tao.
I don't know if you final comment on early constellations being powercrept holds too true, as hu tao her first and second constellations are also quite amazing herself. In total you could also argue that c6 of hu tao gives more crit value overall, but with the caveat that it is not distributed properly. Arle her c6 though, feels very optimized for total potential. You can hold of on the 100% crit rate builds and go back to 90%, and get rewarded with an additional 70% crit dmg and a total insane multiplier for her ultimate. So the optimization for c6 is definately there. What also helps arle is that her constellations are also focused on her main points, like how C3 is a basic attack increase, c2 is QoL for retaining rotations and C1 is pretty much the most OP c1 we have seen yet since her normal attacks have double scaling (both through normal NA% scalings and BoL scaling %) all in all, I think its not necessarily powercreep, I just like how the kits become more optimized for a single character:)
@@DavidVillaTorre powercreep is when a new character completely invalidates old character and the endgame content is hard enough to let the new character complete it, while old character can't. This didn't happen with any of the characters.

Note that at this point you can still clear the game without any constellations. The constellations, which becomes a whales playground, is entirely fair to become even more OP due to the effort spend saving up for one, or money spend to achieve this. But if both of them still perform in the way that they can clear abyss, to the point where they can speedrun it, and the performance can still easily be called "comparable", without there being a PvP factor, then we can definately not speak of powercreep

I've always thought no one can beat my neuvilette in terms of single character dps, but arle is in a whole another level~ she's so much fun and satisfying to play! 😄
More importantly, Yoimiya's work is to make children smile. Arl's is to generate child soldiers. Lyney is one of those child soldiers. And Hu Tao's job is to bury children killed due to the activities of scum like Arl and Lyney ;)

Yoimiya wasnt as strong, Lyney was for monopyro and Arlecchino is flexible can be used in both vape and overload. Although I have C6 Gaming with Furina and Xianyun and I think he is as strong or stronger than my C1R1 Hutao

Also worth noting that these tests are specific to the situations of the test. It doesn't really test things like how comfy the character is, or which handles longer fights with spread out enemies best, and so on. So that's something to consider on top of just how much power cons and such add.
Lot's of great work goes into these vids. It's come a long way since the days of those Xiao DPS showdowns. ;)

Im so glad other fandoms do tho! Like how Lyney is considered the best pyro dps before Arlechinno released in JP fandom. The speedrunner i followed was asked if Lyney is a top pyro dps, the speedrunner corrected him with "top dps*", implying that he is not only the a top in his element but as a dps in general.
Unfortunately, he did not get much a chance to shine since Arlechinno was released soon after.
Lyney is the first dps that I genuinely had a "wow" reaction after trying him out, and i try almost all dps since i have access to different accounts. The sheer power his nuking ability holds never fails to surprise me.

mostly because charge attacking2 with bow is kinda boring in Genshin, Ganyu can be pardoned because her Q made her have more flexible use, which is very useful in early Genshin.

@@dakshdobhal7658 I rarely use ZhongLi with him in abyss. I can see and understand how it gets annoying though, but I find it manageable considering he does not need much on-field time (more manageable than Yoimiya and GanYu imo). He does have some quickswap-like trait on his kit.
I do look forward for more supports that synergizes well with Lyney though. Would love to have a ranged off-field pyro dps to replace xiangling. Looking at where Genshin is now going with their kits, they're now focusing on niches. Hoping for a unit that synergizes well with units like Lyney.

Is not a real C0, just mimic c0. When he charge atk it doesn't consume stamina. I've done jump cancel with both c0 and c1, with c1 you can weave in more CA.

Legit, I'd have bought so many more constellations if I could just turn them on/off... I don't always like steamrolling things but once you've gotten too strong, it's impossible to go back with some characters
remove their artifacts and weapon to reduce their damage. I always do that in abyss when I want challenge

In c6 showdown 2, you waited 5 seconds to collect blood dept with arle. Couldn't you just collect immediately (c2 I believe allows that, the mark starts out big right away) and safe 5 seconds lowering the time to 3 seconds?

@@ArnvalArn Well, cons will give you quite a bit faster than a few seconds. The increase in power provided by cons is pretty high. Added to that, there are certain thresholds you cross that can have a very big impact, like being able to take the wolf lord out without ever reaching his totems, or doing damage so fast that the dancing duo's ability to damage you back doesn't matter.
Of course, it can also kind of backfire. Like my Navia, Chiori, Yae, Furina team has a tendency to kill most things so fast that Navia is often not used. So there, a lower con version of the team could get more use of their Navia to close the gap.
But that said, the rewards are binary. Either you make the time for 3 stars or you don't. So yup, might as well use whoever you want that can accomplish whatever your goal is.

It's likely because of the similarity. They're all Pyro on-field basic attack DPS. Yoimiya can also be here but it's Lyney that make it in the list.

Did you even watch the video? 🥱 Literally Hu Tao has no Internal Cooldown on her E is what makes her busted. Yoimiya does. That's why. Its not just random that she isn't here.
@@chaosinfernoid9008 I should be asking you that, do really watched the video to know what I'm talking about? (Hint: 0:36) And what does having no ICD have anything to do with Yoimiya not being chosen? There was a poll made to feature two most voted Pyro DPS and Yoimiya is in that list.
It's a foregone conclusion that Hu Tao is still better than Yoimiya, and Hu Tao appears to have a similar playstyle of that of Arlecchino that's why she's the top vote. It's also just Lyney get the second most votes, since in all grand scheme of things he can equally perform if not better than Hu Tao.
I don't know if you final comment on early constellations being powercrept holds too true, as hu tao her first and second constellations are also quite amazing herself. In total you could also argue that c6 of hu tao gives more crit value overall, but with the caveat that it is not distributed properly. Arle her c6 though, feels very optimized for total potential. You can hold of on the 100% crit rate builds and go back to 90%, and get rewarded with an additional 70% crit dmg and a total insane multiplier for her ultimate. So the optimization for c6 is definately there.
What also helps arle is that her constellations are also focused on her main points, like how C3 is a basic attack increase, c2 is QoL for retaining rotations and C1 is pretty much the most OP c1 we have seen yet since her normal attacks have double scaling (both through normal NA% scalings and BoL scaling %)
all in all, I think its not necessarily powercreep, I just like how the kits become more optimized for a single character:)

The constellations, which becomes a whales playground, is entirely fair to become even more OP due to the effort spend saving up for one, or money spend to achieve this.
But if both of them still perform in the way that they can clear abyss, to the point where they can speedrun it, and the performance can still easily be called "comparable", without there being a PvP factor, then we can definately not speak of powercreep

If you get a worse result when you replace hu tao with arle, hu tao is the best choice for this team, so you don't have the right to say such nonsense. What you say is as absurd as arguing that is similar to say, in Nilou's team the actual hit source is the dendro cores, not Nilou's, or in alhaithams team thats Kuki's damage, not Alhaitham's, because she triggers the hyperbloom.

More importantly, Yoimiya's work is to make children smile. Arl's is to generate child soldiers. Lyney is one of those child soldiers. And Hu Tao's job is to bury children killed due to the activities of scum like Arl and Lyney ;)
