It amazes me how durable rubber tires are. That their molecular bonds can take that much deformation, heat, cold, abrasion, ect and still retain their shape just blows my mind.
Especially considering the relatively low cost!

There are very high strength steel wires woven throughout the rubber of tires (along with some other layers). A lot of engineering goes into making tires...
Rubber is pretty damn tough and the air helps, too because tires degrade a lot quicker if they aren't properly inflated.

Most of the water we consume has been around for millions of years. It just keep being recycled over and over. Water doesn't wear out or disappear. It just goes somewhere else, sometimes in a different form.

Now don't quote me because I have no idea what I'm talking about. I believe that 1 of 2 things would have happened. Either the bacteria would have used up all the resources and died out, or the bacteria would act as if it were in a small separate ecosystem and would have a different evolution than is seen anywhere else. Again, I have no idea if what I am saying is reasonable, I do not know the lifespan of bacteria, but that is my guess.

These stones are very important geological time and environment markers. They are precious for certain geologists who can seperate the isotopes and later tell you where, when, under whatever condition it was formed. You wouldn't believe, what you can learn from these stones. By the way, i never saw that big water inclusion before. Normally you have some milliliter or mikroliter of water to probe on. These should go to a lab for better understanding.

It’s more of the fact that the water in those agates has been untouched for millions of years unlike ocean water which is constantly changing due to the flow and environment. It’s just the novelty of seeing something that was the same as it was millions of years ago.
