That mode you're using is a debug mode made for JBL to diagnose any issues with it. Listening to music with debug mode active can potentially cause damage
if you look at mystonermind's LFM video it actually increases the bass but it is only a minimal difference, this is a heavily modified speaker and does not use LFM alone as JBL would never make a mode that would intentionally destroy or ruin their product
