    Filling 馅料 :
    2 potatoes, diced into small cubes (马铃薯去皮)
    1 big onion, chopped (大洋葱)
    300g chicken meat, diced into small cubes (鸡肉切小块)
    100g mixed vegetables (什蔬菜)
    4 tbsp oil (大匙油)
    2 tbsp curry powder (大匙咖哩粉)
    1 tbsp chilli powder (大匙辣椒粉)
    1/2 tsp salt (小匙盐)
    1 tsp chicken stock granules (小匙鸡精)
    125 -150g water (水)
    Pastry 水皮材料 :
    【Dough A】
    250g plain flour (面粉)
    50g ghee or margarine (无水奶油)
    1 tbsp sugar (大匙糖)
    1/2 tsp salt (小匙盐)
    140ml water (水)
    【Dough B】
    180g plain flour (面粉)
    30g ghee or margarine (无水奶油)
    70g shortening (白油)

    Sis...I'm one of yr subscribers..can I give a suggestion..can u please write in English the ingredients when yr putting into the pan...because I cant read Chinese. I know u hv written in English in the description box but it would be easier for us to understand when u write on the video while we watch. Tq sis.

    Hi Katherine, the curry puffs look amazing. How come once your puff is cooked, the shape curl up like U shape. But when it's raw, the puff is straight on bottom?
    Can you provide the ingredients for making the pastry in english please? Thanks.

    When I was small spiral curry puffs or the usual one came with the fillings of sweet potato and dried shrimps and always whenever I bite it I have to get rid of the curry leaves.In the old days sweet potato is much cheaper and easily available than the imported potato.Now I made my fillings adding coriander leaves and eggs to thicken the fillings.My favorite karipap is beef or mutton spicy type.

    I noticed many blogs also don't use butter for this spiral curry puff dough . Would butter not have same effect? It's almost similar to puff pastry?

    I have tried learning to make this spiral curry puffs. Made 2x and failed. Yesterday I tried your recipe and succeded. Thank you for the recipe. The curry puffs is flaky and crunhcy when freshly deep fried. This will be a recipe I will follow when I do my spiral curry puff again.
