I recommend checking out the Live From Abyss performance of this song. They performed it so much cleaner and it is a testament to how much work they put in.
Thanks for taking the time to do this while under the weather. Yes, it's not such a complex song, it was clearly written just to give M&M a chance to go off the chain. A lot of fans wondered if they would do something like this so they obliged! The crazy thing is that their studio-live version of this from their Live from Abyss concert is even better.
I can think of nothing better to help you feel better than some Lovebites! Love this song, it is up there in my favorite list.

I have said (and say again) IF a guitarist learned ALL these solos, they will have gained the ability to play MOST guitar solos EVER played by anyone in the history of guitar - solos!
Choruses? Yes, LOVEBITES is quite consistent in shifting to 'major' ("happy-chords" ~ Sam Totman) in the chorus which lifts the mood, often accompanied by the lyrics transitioning from life's struggles to self-empowerment/positive-affirmations. THIS is what keeps LOVEBITES #1 in my 'playlist' !!!!!

Well done despite the illness! Think you need to check out a MV. Recommend Shadowmaker which is from 2017 and re-released on their YT channel 7mos ago. It is power metal and it is epic. Let's not kid ourselves, they are all beautiful, even more so in this video (my opinion). This was my 1st exposure to them and the visual has stuck ever since. Could watch Shadowmaker 24/7, something about the song's tone that is amazing to me...if that makes any sense. Feel better! 🤘🐺

I've always said that I will sub to anyone that reacts to my favorite song from the 'White wolves'. So now you have it.
What I really love is the rolling bass & drum lines underneath all those solo's. Absolutely brilliant.
Now what would really impress me is if you react to 'Journey To The Other Side' (live). Written by Miho about the death of her father. Her biggest hero. Part of the reason why she left the band.
An incredibly emotional part between her and Asami near the end, always tears at my heart.

Catchy straight line song. Miyako & Midori did a lot of complex and creative playing throughout. This was all about the guitars. Asami was in charge of chorus/bridge between guitar work. Haruna & Miho quietly drove the song.
The final solo battle is incredible. M&M are seamless. The way they hand off solo duties is nuts. Miyako will solo while Midori plays the riff, and when she hands off the solo to Midori, she seamlessly picks up the riff. Breathtaking. The studio version of this song is the best version IMO.

@@hiawatha.g So many solos would be enough for 5-6 songs for other bands. Despite such a huge number of solos, they all harmoniously fit into the song.
@@GrayFox14 this is true of all their solos-I have never heard them just noodle around to feed their egos. Even their craziest stuff serves the song.

When you read the lyrics you will understand that Miyako & Midori 'play the parts' of peoples struggling to find 'common ground' (not a duel, but back'n'forth conversation expressing opinions with intent to find mutual benefit because "If we let it take forever we just may lose it all" which appears more REAL with every passing moment in today's world.
