Asami just made a blog post on the fan club, which is the first time any of them has spoken since Miho left. She said she is now ready to move forward, the band all have the same feelings, and they want to return the fans' gratitude with proper music and HEAVY METAL! They're coming back, but now I guess we wait as they look for a bass player.
One of my favorite Lovebites songs. That guitar duel at the end is the best I've ever seen. I've heard that this is one of Miyako and Midori's favorite songs to play. I understand why.Yes, Miyako is endorsed by Dean. She is listed as one of their guitarists on Dean's webpage. She plays both the one you see in the majority of their songs (black and brown grained), as well as the Dimebag Darrel version, of Deans. She also has a custom designed red flying-V from Dean. Supposedly, you can buy a cheaper version of the flying-V, but only in Japan. She also plays a Gibson Les Paul on a couple of songs, as well as another guitar that she put together from parts. In an interview, she said that when she gets a new guitar she changes the pickups, and even the capacitors, to get exactly the right sound that she's looking for. Miyako is definitely my favorite, but I also love Haruna. She's only 4'9" tall. She can barely see over her drum set, but she beats the drums like they owe her money. Love these girls!

Yeah the Anthrax vibes are there. They also hit Exodus,Slayer and Tallica as fluent as I could ever imagine. They are the Equivalent of Professor level Musicianship and Artisanship. They are a 20 on a scale of 1-10 honestly.

Miyako uses an Orange cabinet but a Peavey head. Midori uses a Kemper profiler and Miho uses a first generation DarkGlass Microtubes 900
when you have loved in your heart the 80/90's heavy/thrash metal bands you should normally feel the same way about Lovebites. Even the big ones came to meet them to say hello or to buy their cd (Judas Priest, Testament, Iron Maiden, Helloween, Dragon Force). Lovebites is the baby born from all these bands and more. Only those who don't have the right ear can't understand or feel it.
Watch Bravehearted. Miyako headbangs a bit. It was a track written by Haruna. Vocal endurance test. Their stage clothes are the ones used in the photoshoot of the CD they are touring on.

Yeah guys they are unique. That is because the way how they composing and writing and playing make them special. Because of that they always blowing your mind. I know by my self already watch them twice in Wacken Germany 2018th and UK 2019 year. They coming on the stage like a small dragons burned the stage or venue take your breath and in the end left you speechless and questioning am I witness this or where i am. You have to check the song Epilogue from the same concert Daughters of the down. I'm pretty sure you never have that kind of experience. I'm already curious to see your reaction. Stay metal. Another great reaction. Yes, Miyako is endorsed by Dean and Peavey. But that doesn't stop her from whipping out that sweet '59 reissue Gibson Les Paul of hers occasionally ("Break the Wall"). The Dean V she played on "Winds of Transyvania" was built for her at the Dean custom shop. They did release a production line signature version of that guitar, but I think they're only available in Japan. Midori is endorsed by ESP and Kemper. She tends to favor E-II Horizon FR models for the stage. But the Arrow she plays on "Winds of Transylvania" is a guitar she built herself through ESP's Guitar Craft Academy. Miho and Haruna are endorsed by ESP and Pearl respectively.

Update regarding lovebites future: Asami made a blog post on their fanbase page and said they did consider disbanding after miho left, but ultimately they decided to stick together and continue making music and told us to be patient and wait their return.
now i can say that these guys has natural expression, because i've been watching you doing reaction to "the other band" and the guy seems like not enjoying the music. but totally different whenever you both doing reaction for LOVEBITES, you both totally enjoy it 😂

I told you that you would love this one. The bottom end of Miho and Haruna giving the foundations for those solos, is bloody brilliant. As you guys noticed.
Now, one that will tear you in two is 'Journey To The Other Side.' (Live in Tokyo). Written by Miho & Miyako about the death of Mihos father. A great song that hardly anyone has reacted to. Brown Sugar... you will need some tissues for this one, because I know how much you love Miho. As do I.

You guys are going to have to get used to being blown away because that's what's going to happen every time. Each Lovebites track has its own charm and style. Whether it's video, live, or studio live it's all top level. For good studio tracks, if you can get the link, I recommend "Eagle fly free" (a Helloween cover) and "Burden of time" (a surprise from Miyako awaits you). I love your emotions, your comments, and the visuals you add. big love from a french fan.
Confession time, I was 18 in 1970 so I rode the new wave of heavy metal in the early years. I have not been this excited about metal since when it first came in the form of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple. (I also have to give honorable mention to Blue Oyster Cult.) After them, all the rest were like pretenders, at least to me, and those pretenders included bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, and all the rest who seemingly capitalized on the same metal sound. Not insulting anyone’s taste here, but to me they all sounded the same and they couldn’t rekindle my fire for metal.
Then along came LOVEBITES and suddenly it was fresh, new, and on fire and that fire spread and rekindled my taste for metal again. Damn! It’s been a long haul since hearing a band in the late 60s and early 70s that made me want more! I have a feeling Miho may be back after we’re done with this pandemic shit and she’s had a chance to work things out. Note they have not yet solicited for bass player auditions.

WHAT'S UP WOLFPACK!!! So... We wanted to react to the in studio version of this song, but the way it was looking on our computer was pixelated. So I made the decision to go with a live version instead so it looked better visually with the effects that I use, and would just look better overall. Unbeknownst to me... this wound up getting partially blocked, and in JAPAN of all places!!!! Ugggghhhh... so I apologize about that guys. I really hope that everyone enjoys this... I know that we had a blast reacting to this, and I ADORED putting it together in edit. This truly is one of our top 5 favorite bands, and we have a blast reacting to them. THEY ARE PHENOMS!!!!

@@hiufernando7340 They don't. Their management already released a statement asking fans to not rip stuff from the dvd's and upload it to their channels. So they basically asked us not to make reaction videos. Which is counter-productive, considering how huge the wolfpack has been growing thanks to those videos. They want us to BUY their stuff, which we DO! Wolfpack goes out of our way to support Lovebites any way we can.

Did you notice when Midori almost falls when Asami and her are back to back? Even in 4 inch platform heels she keeps her balance while still playing.
And Asami lets out a little laugh as she turns around without losing the lyrics. They get me every time. It happens at around 3:47

LOVEBITES is the dream-team. Musical perfection. I said the same exact thing when I first found them. They sounded like they had been playing together for 20+ years. Lovebites is a super-group. And now they have a huge void to fill since princess Miho left. I wonder if they are making any progress with that. I would love to know, but they won't tell us until someone signs the contract to make it official.

Like I said previously, not a bad song in their entire catalog! Their passion for the music drives them for perfection. You never hear a missed beat, a missed que, a sour note or bad vocals in any of their music. Just absolute ear candy! Maybe my favorite metal band of all time.

Yep, 'Edge Of The World' is a must at some stage. You guys mentioned, in your reaction, how Asami hits those notes . You haven't seen anything, until you see her hit a big long belting note at the start of 'Edge Of The World'. It stands the hairs up on the back of my neck.

Well there you go as you just witnessed their awesomeness in all areas of rock/metal music, and as a bonus, you witnessed the greatest guitar battle known to the rock world. I have said many times and I say it again Tipton and Downing, Murray and Smith, nor Hetfield and Hammett, Mustane and Marty Friedman could have done it any better. It's about time you check out the milder side but powerful in the making of Lovebites, The "E" songs which are powerful progressive ballads to full-on thrash songs.

Dean normally doesn't do custom guitars. Miyako wanted a wood grain flying v. Dean made it special for her.
That tells you all you need to know about what they think of her as a front person for their products. That flying V of her is wicked and she had to play with it until she had it perfect, which is what you need to be flawless.

Scream for me, and Burden of time, are both better in studio live. They went into their studio aka the Abyss, back in October re recorded the first album on third anniversary. They are out of their white attire, in everyday clothes. And you really get to close up the solos. Guitars clearer. The guitar tones in the studio are incredible. And their smiles. Burden of time is where Miyako plays guitar and piano same time. Yes, they are live in their studio, they did this for their fans, it was the third anniversary of the album. It's better, as I can watch Midori closer doing those string bends, pinch harmonics.
You still have not watched their softer songs, the ones that also show the R&B past of Asami as a singer. Check *Edge of the World,* *Epilogue* or *Empty Daydream,* all of them awesome tracks.
It seems you are not getting much views in this video and it might be because of this thing of blocked in Japan. Hmm. This is the first song you guys have reacted to from the _Daughters of the Dawn_ show, maybe it will be the same in all of the reactions that come from this show. It is a pity because some really good songs were only performed here.
And last, if you are interested look for a song from a band called A drop of Joker with the title Secret Square. After listening to Scream for Me, maybe you find some familiar tune and some familiar person in there.
For some reason, this reaction just showed up in my feed today, 2 days after the fact. Even when I searched for reactions from today and from this week, it never showed up. I saw it in the sidebar. I suspect that's why it wasn't getting the views. Weird youtube thing.
