It was sad hearing about the news from LOVEBITES and MIHO...This usually happens to bands...they always experience some setbacks from either bandmates or management...it is a common thing to happen...But The WOLFPACK was not ready for this to happen at an early stage of LOVEBITES career...It could be their DESTINIES have ALIGN...Anyway...The WOLFPACK wishes MIHO the best in her Musical career...And we know LOVEBITES will be back stronger than ever and SET THE WORLD ON FIRE...They are TRULY FIVE OF A KIND...WE THE UNITED...HEAVY METAL NEVER DIES...WE WILL ALWAYS BE TOGETHER...THIS IS US...THE WOLFPACK WILL CARRY ON...

Good reaction. Great song. Music by Miyako and lyrics by Asami. Powerfull voice by Asami. Badass drumming by Haruna. Great guitar playing by Miho, Miyako and Midori. This is one of the 2 songs reactors normally react to the first time hearing and seeing lovebites. The other one is “holy war”. In concerts Asami starts the song by saying “This is us”. Sad that Miho left the band. All my support and love to Miho and LoveBites. Thank you for this reaction.
It's been a sad few days for the Wolfpack! We love Miho and we wish her to be happy, respect her decision and support her in whatever she decides to go next! She will always be a (big) part of LOVEBITES!

Miho, Miho, Miho 💔 😭 Mlho is my crush, It’s sad news but I know Miho’s loss of her father was a traumatic time for her. We can only hope that the group will stay together. They were a beacon of hope for metal of the highest caliber. I wish them all well wherever their journey takes them.
That was the first song i ever saw of them, i really love how they filmed the twin guitar solo part there where they stand back to back and the camera rotates around them 🤩
For many wolfpack this song is legend. First time i'm falling in love with Lovebites because this song.

Thank you for coming back to them. This and Shadowmaker were the two videos that brought a lot of fans into the Wolfpack. Miyako wanted to write an anthem for the band, but was unsure if she could write something good enough. When the band realized what they had, Asami wrote the lyrics about the band coming together to save Metal from darkness and despair. The other thing about it is that they deliberately composed the instrumental to be a challenge for them to play, and then practiced until they could play it perfectly. You have to see the live version if you ever get a chance, it's also mind-blowing.
Yes, I was so saddened to hear of Miho's leaving. I believe Lovebites will come back from this and I hope Miho finds the happiness and fulfillment she is seeking. Another great song by these lovely ladies. Thank you for reacting to this video.
As Haiawatha G says, this is about the band themselves, a piece Mikayo said she finally felt was “worthy” of being directly associated with them. It is these lyrics that have made me believe, unquestionably, that the band will be back. Not only will they be back, they’ll be better.

What I love about Lovebites is their meaningful and uplifting lyrics that they always sing to us.

I thought we had lost you. Glad you are back. I have a million to say about Miho's departure but I'll be quiet this time. Instead I'll talk about Samurai outfits of this clip. BTW I'm an old Japanese man. This clip some how got some image of Kurosawa's Seven Samurais. Interesting thing is Miyako's outfit. They are all in armors except for Miyako. Miyako wares like a peasant. Everybody else is carrying swords on waists but Miyako carrying it on her shoulder which is bad mannered. She look like an experienced, skilled, tough warrior but not a properly trained samurai. She may be a no-bushi, a wild samurai. It is like a wild dog vs house dog. Ironically, Miyako is highly trained classic pianist. But again, as a guitarist, she is a self taught wild guitarist. Don't get lost again, stay with the Wolfpack.
Awesome observations! And yea, it's been a while. Doing these videos is like a tree. In the beginning, there are very few branches. But every video yields at least 3 more branches. Before you know it, the lines get blurred between stuff you want to do and what others want you to do. Then there are other original things I want to do involving history and literature. Meanwhile, I only have time to do 2-5 videos a week. Its rough. LOVEBITES is definitely one of my favorites I've found on here!

@@brandydynamite5877 Yes it is. A samurai, no matter high ranked or not, or even a ronin never does it. Kurosawa's Yojinbo, a lazy, loose ronin Mifune is carrying his sword on his waist.
@@gatograto You'd think that having it on your shoulder would be more practical though. I've never worn a sword and scabbard before, but I would imagine that it must keep swinging against your hip and leg as you walk ?
@@brandydynamite5877 No. If you know how to use Japanese sword, you'll know it. For example quick draw, you have to swing back your waist as you pull out the sword forward from the sheath. And also Japanese sword is always held with both hands.
Haruna will give you more bell and china cymbal than any other drummer.

Another studio version worth checking out is "Glory To The World"
How the lyrics may pertain to Miho's leaving. FIrst would be "Open your eyes, we will make a new future" applies to Lovebites finding a new bassist, then "We will always be together" can reflect that even though Miho left, her influences in the band will remain and carried on in the other members.
and the line *“Why must someone put out the light deep inside our hearts, can you see we can create a miracle”* is a perfect line for Lovebites and all the crew to keep going and even more brighter.
The day I first set eyes on LoveBites was the day my destiny aligned !! Wolfpack forever !! 🤘🐺🤘

The soaring rhythm guitar line during the solos caught my attention. They are just as impressive in the background, as they are up front. It is very sad to see that Miho has left the band. Hopefully things shall turn out right for both her and the rest of the band. This tune was my introduction to Lovebites last March.
I don't know if you're still checking the comments from these old videos, but if so. check out Lovebites again. They have a new bassist and put out a new album and had a live concert this past year. For an introduction to their new bassist, Fami, check out her CZcams video that she put out 3 years ago on a cover she did to a song called "Alien Alien". I think you'll find the revisit to Lovebites worth your time!

It's different from the Marko situation. He wasn't the bandleader - nor was he the original bassist. Miho was both. It's equivalent to Tuomas leaving NW. And they're already touring again.

Have you heard of the Ship of Theseus? It raises the question, if a ship is repaired plank by plank over time until none of the original planks remain, is it still the same ship? That applies to rock groups too. There are even CZcams videos about bands with no original members remaining in them.
What's happening with the rhythm section during the guitar duets is called syncopation, which means shifting the accent to a beat that you would normally not expect to be accented. The song is still in 4/4 and you can tap your foot to the regular beat but the drum hits are not where you would expect. Syncopation is used more in r&b, hip hop and jazz than in metal. Nu metal and rap metal bands use it more than power metal bands.

I'm trying to look through this video to see which bottle you're asking about. In various videos, in the background I've had Kraken Rum, Pendleton's Canadian whiskey, 12 yr Glenlivet and probably the best, and my personal favorite, an 18 yr Lagavulin Islay single malt Scotch!
