Hey, I got mine on ultrasabers! The site has a lot of options to choose from and therefore gives you the opportunity to customize your saber just how you want it. It does get pretty expensive, though!

it would actually be useful, to test your reflexes and also have fun at the same time, and its also makes students more interested in training, its just like using a staff but its more fun, something that makes it better is that the best person to use the lightsaber wins a realistic lightsaber (monthly) from any company basically

I am a 44 year old stage 4 laryngeal cancer survivor with a 13 year old girl who loves star wars marvel. Before getting sick, we were writing a short story for her to act out in star wars fan film. Now that I am in remission, we are back on track. I just today found your videos and showed her. She is very excited to learn. She is also a gymnast and cheerleader, so your videos are just like adding cheese to a burger she already has. And it's giving me ideas to start getting my endurance back.

Honestly, as much as some may complain that it looks too flashy and "unrealistic" (as if fencing with contained beams of plasma like blades is realistic to begin with), I'd argue that it's actually effective for this specific type of weapon in context. It's a bright, lethal light coming at you with rapid speed, and the spinning can act as a feint to throw off opponents trying to anticipate it.
The psychological effect of fighting with weapons of metal, wood, or other materials is very different. This thing can burn, maim, or blind you with even a light touch. Its hum + light weight can make movement patterns more difficult to predict. If someone came at me with a lightsaber, even if I had one of my own and knew what I was doing, I'd much rather run!

Never understood why Obi-wan won't just crush him with the force.
Obi-Wan is more trained for a defensive style like Soresu, Mace Windu masters a form which includes walking onto the edge of the dark side without falling into it, it is called Vaapad. Which includes Force crush and choke.

Anyone who did color guard will recognize this easily. This was part of our warm-ups. 6' polls with heavy silks on the end, 100 on each side for each height. Great arm workout!

I’m a flagger n we do this type of movement all the time. I think these techniques work perfectly within my art form of flagging as well. I’ll recommend your video’s to flaggers learning to flag as well thank you.

Darth Maul was the only exeption, he had 10 word in Episode one and the rest was his battle vs Obi-Wan and Qui-gon, he wasn't the main charactere of the story, only the bad guy.

When I realised that my Baton training in my teens (had to stop, because back then there where almost no Baton Twirling groups in the northern part of Germany) helps me with this I jumped around like crazy ^^ So thankful you make tutorials.

I'm still saving up for a saber from a local shop, but I tried this out with some of my heavier polypropylene training props & managed to get some decent windmills flowing for a moment. I'm excited for when I can buy a saber to so I can practice out in the football field at night.
