Every National Federation " except " the Usa , pay both their mens and womens team an equal ' game fee ' or appearance fee , when they play for their country. In England it is £2000. In a low ranked country it might be £200. Because the Usa is weird, they do not pay a set game fee to their National Teams. America , go figure.

I want to remember that these guys at como just finished their hardworking season in the Italians serie B, like thr others men club teams, so while the best women national team in the world were playing like crazy, they are in total summer mod3, so friendly light played matches.
One other thing in Italian we think that if you continue and try to score when you already winning with a large margin, you are trying to humiliate your adversaries, the total opposite of the northern european mentality where is worse to stop to play.

The smaller pitch is the only way the women can keep the game competitive. It allows the women to get 5 defenders in the box for the majority of the game.
This was way better than the Wrexham game. The Wrexham team just brute forced. No skill. Como challenged the women with skill. And it was closer and more importantly, more interesting.
I didn't trust that score board had to go and check that 1 goal for my self.
