Not exactly, they could fight like cats and dogs at home. My brother and I did on the daily. Once outside the home, we could be each other’s champion. Now,20 years later and several countries between us, my brother, and I are closer than ever.

At my brothers school if they had girl siblings at the end of the game the girls would go on the field and they would give their sister a flower no matter how old and all my brothers went to the same high school so I got to do it multiple times bc they are different ages. I’ve been doing it ever since I was little and last year was my last year being able to do it. It was so sweet😭

My brother and I are one year apart and are each others best friends. People who barely know us sometimes think we’re twins cause of how close we are. He’s a senior in high school this year which breaks my heart but also really happy for him. I’m so proud of him and the person he has become and even though I will miss him and wish he was a part of the upcoming musical or science competition with me I know he will be doing a amazing things at college and in the future. Man it’s just something about those days…. Only those who played can really understand…. Especially playing for a smaller FOOTBALL town.
