I'm turning 52 tomorrow and I still wear the triangle bikini. I love that I can adjust it to fit me day to day. No one every looks at me funny so it must not look bad on me. I feel like for me it's the most flattering.

Hi Erin, body positivity is so important. Wearing what makes me happy and trying not to focus on the parts that I am working on is a struggle. I look in the mirror and remind myself that I carried my son in this body, my husband loves my body, it is MY body. MWAH!

I'm ready for summer fashion!!! We are having some cold weather here in Alberta, Canada and I had to take out the winter coat today....brrrrr. Turning 58 next month and love, love wearing shorts. I don't do cutoffs anymore though. In my younger days I hated my legs and wearing shorts - pear shaped with small upper body - but been walking almost every single day for many years and the legs are quite toned. I love to feel the sun on my body and the carefree feeling of wearing shorts on a hot summer day. Picked up a white denim pair (hemmed) from GAP and bright pink ones from Old Navy this year to update my shorts wardrobe. At 5'6", a 6-7 inch is the perfect length inseam for me - not too long and not too short. Dreaming of wearing my new shorts.....hurry up cold, go away!

Fashion Attitudes- I am going through a chic “biker look” even though I am not getting on a Harley! I have gotten 2 leather jackets- 1 red with a white racing stripe and a white one. Then I have a pair of Harley boots. Wearing that is my super power and someone always compliments me when I wear it😆😆😆

Hi. I know that athletic gear isn't really the focus. But could a linen short be worn on a hiking (I use the word hiking loosely bc I will be with toddlers) trip to Hocking Hills? There are lots of waterfalls along the hikes. I'm not crazy about the regular old nylon running short look. I would like to look a little elevated but still stay cool and have something that is quick dry. I just wondered if you would have any thoughts on fashion in that scenario. Thank you so much for your videos and your consideration.
Definitely fine to wear your linen shorts! I prefer something lightweight like that or even a cargo style cotton short for hiking.
Here's what I wore for a full day of hiking on my trip to the Middle East last summer - and I think this outfit is perfect for hiking just about anywhere - unless you need more layers for warmth.

Love love some of these styles! The brown caftan, the Aztec dress and that short white lace dress, also very curious about that one size swimsuit. A little out of my budget though!! Last summer my style had gone through a little but of a funk along side my of my mental health but after coming out of the other side of that, I have noticed that I'm now less comfortable wearing my ultra-casual former go-to outfits which I'm totally okay with. Now all those "someday" clothes that were tucked into the back of the closet for far too long, have been worked into my regular circulation.

I definitely want the wedges -- love those! As for that fitting room mirror? I haven't tried anything on in a fitting room for 10 years for the very reason you say. If, by 50, we don't know what works on us, kinda sorta, something is wrong. I check the style, order the possible good fits, am responsible when trying things on to keep them very clean, and return the misfits, simple as that. Thanks, Erin!

@ 6:57, that cotton popiin dress is a good go to. It pairs well with the brown boots. I'm a huge fan of brown boots. I've always quipped that they go well with my hair colr (chestnut brown).
I love you in that bikini, however I like a little more coverage in the bottoms department. Still, it's great to be in my mid-40s and have the confidence to wear one.

The blue aztec dress is everything. I love your positivity. How bout pants or capris for those that don't want to do shorts. Linen joggers etc. Im.44 and although my legs were my best feature 20 years ago they aren't what they use to be 😅
