Love that you wear color. So many fashionistas don’t. Black, white, beige 🥱
Loving all of the fun, bold colors lately! Thanks for watching, Ally! xo
You can use the powder until you're in your 60s, and then it settles in lines and amplifies them! Someday you will be doing makeup for us older gals turning 75 years old. That is a whole new world!
Absolutly Lavern
Agree I’m 70 and yes pls🙏🏻😁tips for the 70 plus younger ladies 😆😘
Bralettes are out of the question for women with fuller busts. It would be great if you could add some recommendations for options that are more supportive while still being cooling. If they exist... I haven't found one. I went through two bras a day while in Spain this past May. Living in Atlanta, I just don't go outside until nighttime.
Try PJ Harlow: Bra 30 Sporty. I’m a 32G and I wear these a lot in the summer. Not as supportive as a regular bra but very comfortable. Looks good as a layering piece.
Look into Chantelle and Darjeeling bras. I'm a 100C in European sizing, about a 36/38 C/D American, and I've found them super comfortable, breathable, light, and the underwire doesn't dig into me. I thought at first the style would be too high for my blouses (I used to be a Natori girl), but they fit well under everything.
I completely agree. There’s no way my D cups are going in a bralette. I usually wear T-shirt bras because I like the smoothing effect. However, I live in Florida and I find they are too thick for the summer heat. I have switched to lace bras for summer. Another good option is vanity fair style 73080. The cups are lighter than my traditional tshirt bra.
Oh man visiting Atlanta is the sweatiest I’ve ever been; I hope you can find something that works!
I'd suggest looking for something like this... cooling/moisture wicking, wire free, and supportive:go.magik.ly/ml/1k9e0/ Thanks for watching, Suzanne! xo
Very good advice, "you're in survival mode" I love that comment, it hit home with me. The heat this yr. has been brutal.
Silk is an insulator and is great to use as a first layer in areas like Michigan when snow skiing. I was never so warm snow skiing at night with silk next to my skin, a sweater and a down vest. It was so comfortable and I was never cold.
I have a maxi chambray dress that I just love, love, love! So comfortable and cool on hot days.
I know you are loyal to certain brands but Old Navy has a wide variety of cool clothes. Lovely dresses, cute breathable tops, fabric loose fitting shorts. I receive so many compliments on my outfits and when asked where I got it I tell them Old Navy they are impressed.
Thanks so much for sharing your faves, Ginger! xo
Ginger Miller - same here. Sad to say I probably could not afford any of the items in this video. I understand that some people can afford $400 dresses or $200+ skirts but often times, it makes me want to stop watching. I am a Target, Old Navy, Ross and Marshall’s gal.
Ohhh my.... those won't look classy at ALL on those of us that have a large bust. I will stay with my support
These may not work for everybody. It's always SO important to adapt style tips to best fit you and your beautiful body! Thanks for watching, Debra! xo
Lace paneled bras are great for summer heat and larger busts. I'm currently a 30F and my bust folds over and eats up shelf bras which doesn't help with the underboob heat at all.
Not only have I gained knowledge for my style journey, you also crack me up when you enjoy being goofy. Thank you very much for including multiple shoe options in particular; metal pieces in my feet require me to skip wearing heels and it’s so frustrating when I want to look dressy.
I am SO glad you're finding my tips helpful, Traci! Thanks so much for your sweet comment! xo
We are very lucky in San Diego California.
Thanks for the early giggle this morning! Love these tips, especially the bralette idea and the defrizzer spray.
SO glad you enjoyed this one! Thanks for watching! xo
I'm in NS, Canada and we just went through a wicked heat wave with insane humidity (hard to breath and the sweat wont evaporate off kind of weather). Silk chiffons and gauzy hemp fabrics made it slightly less uncomfortable when I had to leave the house.
I appreciate all the work that goes into great useful content like this. Thank you
SO glad you enjoyed this one!! Thanks so much for watching! xo
I love the white top you're wearing throughout the video, and really looking for one like it. This video is the most relatable one I may have ever seen. It's been heat indexes from 103 to 112 most days for a month and not letting up anytime soon, getting dressed is misery right now.
I totally hear you...Unfortunately this one is sold out. We're keeping our eyes out for a similar option to share! xo
It's been 14 years living here in Texas and the summers have always been unbearable for way too long.🥵🔥 We'll be moving out of Texas very soon and Colorado is a place on our list to move to. I love the cooler temperatures and I sure do miss the 4 seasons. Christmas is not the same with at least a little bit of snow. Awesome tips, Erin! 💕
I totally hear you! Hope you find a lovely new place to call home! xo
Great tips Erin! Breathable fabrics are key! I don’t even buy anything with polyester anymore. We had a heat wave in Philly with temperatures in the high 90’s for several days. Stay cool! 😊
Exactly right, Alicia! Thanks for watching! xo
Same here....outside Philly in Delco. Not buying polyester anymore has been a game changer for everyday wear. I have a few pieces for dressier occasions.
Agreed! It is so important to wear the right fabrics.
The key is to stay inside during the hot hours!
Yep, that's a GREAT idea! Haha! xo
@@BusbeeStyle I am in Florida!
My house has been a cool 36c (97f) indoors this last week, lol.
Hey Erin! I love your skits! 😆 thanks for all the great advice.. Love your channel🤗
Thanks Erin! Another great video!❤
You always give the best advice. Seriously!! Love you channel and thank you.
Thank you for this much needed topic!! 🙏🏼 Add menopause to the hot hot days and it’s truly a tough time. Only natural fabrics with loose fitting style will work for me. I’d used rayon, viscose, and blends in the past. Done, with man made fabrics, once entering 60’s I’ve found that I require more comfort for myself now.
The clip at the beginning was hysterical!🤣
As temperatures continue to be heating up everywhere, even though some say there is no global warming, we’d better all figure out how to be more comfortable in the heat!!
Much appreciated!! KTK
SO glad this was helpful, and fun to watch! Thanks for watching! xo
Yes, menopause in the heat. A double whammy!!
You are so right! Menopause and heat = brutal. Everyone women going through it needs options.
Good tips. So difficult here in hot humid Atlanta, but doable. Flowy dresses are my standard. And, my go-to powder performs so well here- it's portable, and provides treatments like anti-oxidents and sun protection- Color Science Sunforgettable! Love it. Highly recommend Olaplex products for frizzies too.
Absolutely love your new Zimmerman linen dress Erin. Thanks for the awesome content. It's Winter in Australia but still love watching in preparation for Summer 🤗
Helpful for next summer for you! Thanks so much for watching, Tricia!! Appreciate your support from all the way over there! xo
I'm definitely learning this after living in Maine most of my life and now live in Florida year round! The clothes I wore in Maine don't cut it here especially in the summer! Always looking for more breathable fabrics now :)
I agree! I keep seeing people say linen and silk. But like Erin said, if you have even a drop of sweat, it shows on silk. I don't understand that one 🤔
I am sure that was a bit of a shock! Definitely stick to the breathable fabrics as you switch your wardrobe! xo
Thank you Erin ❤️🌞
Thanks Erin, love your new skirt with the vertical ruffles!!
love all the looks
LOVE, love, love!! Great video ☺️
For this unbearably hot summer days, I bring a few things in my bag to Cool down as I move around NYC: UV Umbrella to block the Direct sunlight (feels like 5-7 degrees of heat OFF your body), spray bottle (to give myself a light spritz on my face & chest (also spray on clothes) - your skin will thank you for it! It feels like instant relief. Then, I use a handheld collapsible fan to feel even cooler. And of course, wearing natural fabrics is super helpful because it's breathable. Pro tip - spray a pretty scarf with water and tie around your head or neck to stay cooler for longer.
Thanks for sharing your own tips! xo
I cannot be without my small hand-held fan!
Thank you Erin 🙂
Great hot weather suggestions….I live in the greater Houston area and incorporate these on the daily! I wore a silk blend mini dress over the weekend for my Bday, it was perfect and breathable. Stay cool and wear sunscreen 😎
I hope you had a great birthday, Christy!! Thanks for watching! xo
Hi Erin, I’m in Pa and we had some brutal heat lately. My gauze material and linen has definitely helped to keep me cool. Thanks for the suggestions.
Thanks so much for watching, Cathy! So glad this was helpful! xo

I hope you have the BEST time! Thanks for your sweet comment, Cindy! xo
Love the gauzy fabric they are showing this year.
You are hilarious! Loved the intro and following content. Keep them coming!
Even in Sweden it gets quite hot sometimes! Now around 23-26C and some days even up to 28-30C😳🔥
I have bought something called ”thigh band’s” that you put around your thighs to prevent friction of thighs for ex. in hot weather. They are made of lace on the outside and silicone on the inside and come in different sizes and in colours white, black and beige/”caramelish”! You wash them in machine, cold (30 C)in a washbag for lingeres. I like them -a lot! No sticky thighs under a skirt or dress anymore!🥰
Thanks for another wellmade video, Erin!
Bye from 🇸🇪🌤⛱🔥
Great ideas ❤️ thank you ❤️ 😊
Love the fashion cool tips. Cotton is so comfortable for summer. Try cooling towels that go around the neck. I use them when I go hiking in the forest or the trails near the lake.
I love the black swing dress, Erin, and the white cut out dress as well! I’m excited you got the linen dress! I love linens in super hot temperatures - it’s a must for me here in the west, USA.
Thank you!
Love this..thanks for the 411...my region gets around 110 plus in summer so this will help
Really loving the summary format at the end of your videos Erin❤

Great tips Erin! 🙂🙏🏼❤
I feel like I have waited my whole life for this video!!!
I live in North Carolina and we have had many days over 100 recently, with a real feel of as high as 116° F and extreme humidity! It seems impossible to look polished, much less survive in that kind of heat, so this video is a godsend! I also appreciate how you include details such as shoes, hairstyles, accessories, and makeup! I have saved this video because I anticipate watching it many more times to learn all these fabulous tips (and to snag some of your gorgeous recommendations!). THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
I am SO glad this was helpful for you, Danica! Thanks so much for watching! xo

So glad you enjoyed this one! xo
Thank you for more of these summer tips, I always love your videos!
I live in Naples, FL ( very hot here) and often dine or attend functions at my country club. Lily Pulitzer clothes are extremely popular here. I’d love to see some tips for country club outfit ideas for the heat, and possibly utilizing the Lily Pulitzer or similarly bright colored clothing styles seen so frequently in South Florida country club living. Thanks for your consideration!
Thanks so much for watching, Debbie! Great idea! I think you could easily go from day to night with some of the Lilly Pulitzer dresses. Swap out your golf shoes for a heel or wedge, add simple accessories like gold earrings and a neutral handbag and you are good to go! xo
Really helpful and practical suggestions. I love your green dress. It looks fantastic on you.
Thanks so much, Anne! SO glad this video was helpful for you! xo

Erin~ I am so grateful for the many fabulous tips and tricks that you provide in your informative (and fun) videos! As a 47-year-old woman, feeling stylish and confident is important; but the summer months have always been a struggle for me. Typically, I only have fall/winter clothes in my closet because I find boots, jeans, coats, sweaters, etc. more fun to shop for. After watching your summer wardrobe videos, I am finally expanding. So, thank you because I really didn't know where to start. I just absolutely appreciate you and your expertise SO much...XO
SO glad this was helpful for you! Thanks for watching! xo

You are SO welcome, Elaine! xo
Good one!
Great tips. Most I already follow but watching while packing for a trip to Atlanta was a great reminder that the cute outfits I’d envisioned wearing won’t be so cute if I’m sweaty and uncomfortable.
Also wanted to add that headbands have helped me wear my hair up to keep cool without sacrificing style.
Thanks for watching and sharing a tip of your own! xo
Thanks Erin! Love my dresses in the summer! Hardly ever wear shets anymore.
Love it! Thanks for watching, Judy! xo
For the first time in my life I bought some linen shorts from Banana Republic. What a dream! I also picked up some black tencel shorts. Easy to dress up or down and still stay cool. I'm in CO also...we should have a beautiful cooler weekend 😎
Love that, Jenn! Thanks for watching! xo
I live in Spain by the Mediterranean sea and the temperatures we're having this summer are unbelievably and extremely hot, so really grateful for all your tips.😘

Dear Erin, excellent tips.

You're SO welcome! Thanks for watching! xo
I lived in South Texas and the CO too! I’m North Texas now.
I love the raffia mules you are wearing Erin. The advice you give is spot on for a lady living in a hot climate. Ive just moved away from Cairns, Far Norht Queensland in Australia where we spent 30 years in very hot, humid conditions. Every piece of clothing you advise would be perfect! Except now I live somewhere really cold..lol.
Thanks for watching, Emma! Even though you're out of the heat now! xo
I live in Dallas and, we've had 100+ Temps almost every day since June. It's awful! These tips are great as always!Love this video!

Thank you so much! xo
Lol your so funny Erin,I love it. Great tips for staying cool.
Thanks so much, Isolina! Glad this was helpful for you!! xo
I can relate to the blind guys showing up. I have had workers show up and I am still in my pjs. I play golf in Dallas and I think some of these tips will help as well. Many of the ladies love wearing golf dresses in the extreme heat, and a nice straw hat is great as well out on the course. And a cool compress on the back of your neck is a winner every time. I loved that opening scene btw.
SO embarrassing! Glad you found these tips helpful, Tamara! Thanks for watching! xo
Love the RECAP at the end 🙌
So glad that was helpful! xo
Hi Erin! Love this video! Love all your videos actually. Can you please do a tutorial on the two hairstyles where you pull your hair up? (The classic bun and low bun) So pretty!!
