In this video I go more into depth about removing everything inside and lifting up the sub flooring to fully clean my van and get it ready for the next steps. I also treat the rust and get it up with my wire drill brush and seal it and also do some Bondo work. My Van name is "Rico" after Uncle Rico. This van is a 1996 G30 this van was purchased from the previous owner of my property for 500 dollars, it was his old work van and I saved it from being recycled metal. For quick rust removal use a flap wheel on a grinder. ❤ you should use acid etching paint over exposed metal then primer then urethane paint.

While this is late to the party I also have a G30 with the same size tire with a 16x8 aluminum wheel. My slider opens just fine, but I think my offset might be different which unfortunately is not in the paperwork, and it's been a few years I don't remember what they told me it was.

Just for information - There are also 15 inch rims with 8 lugs that fit with G30 big drum brakes, I have two and I was not sure, I tried, they fit.

just picked up a 90 G30 with 454 big block with only 144k miles but due to it having a rubber floor under both front seats there is no floor only carpet and plastic , have an parts g20 that has solid floors , guess i get to relearn how to weld lol

I wouldn't recommend using a bondo patch to address rusted through structural metal that the seat mounts too. C'mon man, you need to learn to weld!
