If N64 was Jungle Green... this is Dank Green. Perhaps without the pungent smell. I was expecting it to be more neon like.
When I saw renders transparent green model was looking much more vibrant and it was looking like it's warm green, this green is looking blue-green
I don't know if it was an issue with the renders being off-color or the final product coming out in a different hue, but you're right. The green itself isn't bad in a vacuum, it's just not what we expected. -Zu

I'm in love with that green model... but I absolutely adore my 353m
for the price and performance I will stick with the x55 and a 5 inch screen for under 99. prefer having the larger screen at the expense of a little performance
The one thing i like about my r35s is the arkos 2.0 it allows me to flip with a trigger between two screens or top and bottom. And it runs most basic ds games good. And the screen is great.
Bummer about the green, doesnât have near the saturation of the N64 console/controller. If this had a 4â screen itâd be about perfect though.
Glad I'm going with instead of a Miyoo Mini + or RP3+. The fact it has bluetooth support and can play up to gamecube is alot to be desired. Also the 4:3 aspect ratio screen is more suited for retro gaming than a 16:9. I mainly plan on playing Super Nintendo, Genesis, GBA, and an occasional PS1, NDS, and Gamecube game. If you want anything more as far as emulation you might as well go with a Steamdeck or similar devices. The fact this system can run Sunshine and has the analog trigger which means you can run and lightly press for the water is insane to me.
Good review, Wow you demo a football game, a sports game that wasn't golf or tennis. Braking all the rule I see. (j/k) The TV out, some retroid devices are picky which tv it plays on. had the same issue with the 2+. I think it might not play well with older tv.
Just bought this as my second hanheild.(my first retro hanheild the polish rgb10 stopped powering on after 2 days) hoping this will be a great fit!

How does the RP2S do with Android games like Roblox and Minecraft? Looking at this and a few other handheld models for my kid. Trying to avoid higher end systems like Steam Deck or Odin because he's 10 and I'd prefer if he accidentally lose or break it, it's a $100 item and not $300-400+. Thanks!
Okay I know my review isnât perfectly accurate, but Minecraft performed well on the RP2+ with about 50 FPS so the 2S should do even better with a 60 FPS experience. Roblox ran well on my Snapdragon 695 phone and not the RP2+ and the T610 sits between the T310 and Snapdragon 695. I hope this helps in some way.
I am looking for handheld and my priorities are full speed psp support with 2x resolurion and acceptable ps2 support in games like Mortal Kombat , Devil May Cry, Prince of Persia and Harry Potter.
Since you want PSP a 16:9 screen would be ideal so I would suggest the retroid pocket 3+, anbernic 505 or the Retroids flip those should also be able to handle the type of PS2 games you mentioned.

Another great review. I just want to put it out there that I appreciate Zu includes sports games in his emulation showcases. I like older sports games because I hate the Ultimate Team-ification of modern sports titles. Yeah, the old franchise and exhibition modes are still there; but, I feel like all the resources are going to better bleed whales of their cash instead of making a better game. I feel like the NFL 2K games still play a more realistic game of football than the newest Maddens.
Popular opinion: exclusive league licenses are the devil and should be banned. Leagues can set a price for their IP; but, any developer should be allowed to pay that price if they can afford it. When I become President we probably won't have world peace, low gas prices, abundant high paying jobs, or a workable plan to eliminate kudzu; but, gosh darn it we'll have 2K football again! đșđČ

Hi, I have recently been playing a LOT on my new Anbernic RG35XX, I am very new to emulation, I really would quite like to try something that can handle Nintendo DS for Pokémon HGSS/B&W, can you recommend anything?
35XX Plus if you already like the size of the base 35xx. You can also try the RGB30 or any 3566 handheld with a form factor that appeals to you!

Tinkering with android looks fun

Really wish it wasn't so bulky, it doesn't have to be. If they would have gotten rid of that huge chin at the bottom and made it as thin as the rp3 this thing would be perfect. I don't really have a good 4:3 device yet so I'm still considering it but I'll probably go with the 353v because it's just such a turnoff to see a screen that doesn't look like it fits on the device in 2023.

No es ideal porque tienes que estar cambiando, pero varios juegos que no usan mucho las 2 pantallas funcionan muy bien.

What is it with Retroid, twice the colour is nothing like the luminous green, shown originally.
Same with my RP3 +, that was far darker in colour.

All PS2 Games Do Not Run In Full Speed
Almost no 4:3 games take advantage of dual analog sticks & analog triggers. What is the point of this device? I bought the same exact transparent green 4gb model btw. Lol... It was an impulsive purchase...

@@luqmans7 i have played with it a bit. But to be honest, i have fully stopped using it. I play with my Miyoo Mini Plus every day. I just don't feel like i will use the analog triggers and sticks. Especially with a screen that small, and that aspect ratio.

sorry to say but even with that chipset being better than the powkiddy rgb10max3 pro, the max3 pro runs ps2 better than this and gamecube is perfect. also 3ds runs a bit better than this did.
