Awesome list for an awesome band!! I just want to preface this list by saying I like Van Halen 3 a lot. I love the song structures and experimenting on it as well as Gary Cherone’s vocals. I do believe it should’ve just gone by another name though.

just one comment - OU812 was my list favorite album as well after VH3 and Balance. Its not an exiting album to explore. But when you already know it, its actually a decent album to come back to.

"Beautiful Girls" is a great song. The second album would grow on you. I loved Hagar on the first Montrose album, really like a few of his solo albums...but just could never get into him with Van Halen. (except a song or two)

The Ice Cream Man ending is just a standard blues lick, goes back at least as far as the 30's and probably much earlier
