I actually really like this game, even if I suck at it the gameplay is pretty fun

The best part about BBTag is it has Neo in. Neo is the most fun I have ever had with a fighting game character ever

An underrated guest character, or characters, and one of my favorite guests are the RWBY girls in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. They had their own little story in that game and they’re fun to play. I’ve always wanted a RWBY fighting game and it’s nice to actually be able to play as the characters in a fighting game for once!
I would like to see an Arc title for RWBY. A 2D fighter with Melty Blood fight system would be sick.
It got more dlc Characters to pay for announced b4 the Release than the Official roster
One of the thing I in particular disliked about the game was how absolutely difficult it is to tell what is going on. The effects for hit confirms, blocking attacks, and even just general particles just make the game so hard to see what the ____ you and your opponents characters are doing
I know it has some flaws but I still love this game,
Whether it’s the power rush from Susano’o or Azrael or the music or just the ultimate fighting game character Blitztank
I love this game with a passion this is the game that got me into going to actual tournaments I hope one day we’ll get another update with more characters or maybe even a sequel
I believe its just one of those situations where you cant please everyone. Ive played Persona (Im trash as it), Ive played BB (Im decent), and Ive played Undernight (probably my favorite of the three). Ive also played MBTL. The fighting mechanics just seem to be radically different for all these games, and I think people’s expectations were unrealistic in light of this. BBTAG isnt my favorite game, but I still purchased it to support.
Another thing that annoys me are the reversal actions.
Marvel 3 is the same thing but everyone praises it
But MarvelvsCapcom has more complex inputs.
The Blazblue characters in Tag are oversimplified to accommodate the tag system. Personally that’s fine but folks who love the complexity of the of the Blazblue characters might be left wanting such as Nine, Rachel, etc.
Still Tag can still have complexity in terms of fundamentals such as distancing, neutral play, etc.
Yeah no. Like very no.
I remember when Marvel 3 got so much shit for simplifying the face buttons. They did away with the magic series and implemented the L, M, H, S system instead.
Even with this, the game is still very complex as the game has been explored all these years.
How is Marvel vs Capcom 3 the same thing?
BBTAG is sorta simplified and this directly also had effects on other characters, most notably the ones on the Blazblue side and even UNIEL characters where you can tell their moves were stripped down or just not there.
That comparison doesnt even make much sense
My big issue is that RWBY is used as one of it's big selling points, yet in the end, there aren't enough characters to warrant its inclusion as a fate
BBTAG is part of Tag Team Fighter syndrome:
• Everything is fucky.
• Assists re-shape pressure.
• "Those" beefy mechanics that make the game a bloodfest.
GURL I LOVE THIS GAME AND IVE BEEN TRYING MY HARDEST TO GET ALL ENDINGS ON THE BB CHAPTER IM SO CLOSE TO DOING IT!
P4 eggbear looking ass makes this an easy 10/10

Damn. I think it's one of the greatest fighters ever created. I think all those points are complete ass. Especially looking at Fighters nowadays 😅

bbtag is alright. I don't hate the game and will play it every now and again, but my main gripe is the controls of all things. The tag aspect is awesome, but if I mess up a combo because default controls set a tag button on the face buttons, that feels like a big problem for me, especially since bbtag was my introduction to blazblue.
I love this game its so choaotic and I loce it
I hate people that don't want to learn motion inputs, in 5 minutes you learn ⬇↘➡➕punch, with that u can use various moves of A LOT of games of every brand a many from the same game...

I agree. I love this game. Can't find any online opponents and so, playing against just the AI makes me develop odd habits but it's still a fun game.
I love the simplicity and honestly thought that the game was pretty dope just got recreational fun. Feels like you have to do naruto hand signs to input commands on games like Tekken and Z Fighters now.
Is it still worth trying to get into bbtag?
Absolutely! I have a group of friends that I play with regularly. We have a good time
You'll have a hard time finding online matches, but what other game can you play as Tohru Adachi from Persona 4 beating up Weiss Schnee and Carmine with the aid of the 13th Murakumo Unit Nu?
This game is a gem.
Ok but you have to admit. This game IS a party game. It's not well designed at all but I like to call it "Dumb Fun". Something you don't have to think about much to have fun with.
I'd say it's pretty well designed. Even if you want to call it a party game you can technically slap that label on smash too and that doesn't make higher play any less complex than another game.

@@Crowlo17 I would like to see you attempt even half of the high level tech done in smash tournaments. Or get a completely good grasp of the crosstag system to use high low setups or unblockable strike throw setups. Or simply use the system in a way to get flawless pressure without getting blown up by push block (Without Narukami)
I hate the game with its broken characters and how most people play them just because they're broken. But can you name one other game where Hazama and Adachi interact with eachother?
I LOVE The assist system in Cross Tag. The combination of both having Active Tag and Directional Assist makes for a really free form system that makes your back character actually feel like another character compared to something like UMvC3 where until I switch to Spidey, just feels like I gave Zero Web Ball.
Even though this game sucks, it’s still really fun

And also u forgot something the controversial dlc 20 characters c'mon who thought it was a good idea and season 1 was so bad that season 2 nailed okay for them.
For me it's two reasons: tag game without co-op, and they messed up my boy Hakumen, his stock system in previous titles was just perfect.

It’s a training wheels game. Once you’re good at it move on to a game that requires more skill.
