@@bnashtay2278 A charge Character is a move that you have charge up for a bit by holding a direction, usually back or downwards then doing another direction + a button. People say Diagonal Backwards is the best to be in cuz you can block and have access to both your down and back charge move

As a quick suggestion, you should display an image of each character before you begin explaining stuff. For a new player, just showing two characters duking it out might initially make it very hard to tell which one of the characters you're talking about.

Really enjoyed you adding personality to the video by making some of the characters have "joke" songs rather than their themes. It didn't lessen the importance of what you were saying and overall made the video a bit more fun.
My favorite character to use is azreal. And a funny thing about his weakpoints against Hibiki and Makoto mirage attack, it can show where the actual character is
I notice no difficulty was given to Valkenhayn but i always say he is one of the hardest characters in the franchise. Edit: Now that I have gotten to the end I also see one missing for Lambda too!
I own basically every fighting game (I love fighting games) and never played any Arc System Games except fighter Z , yesterday I downloaded BB Central Fiction and GG Rev 2 and OH BOY wasn't I expecting this much of pure quality , the graphics ,the gameplay, the characters , the story and the modes. Just fully packed high quality fighting games. I am so happy to own them now, they are one of my faves now
This. I’ve always been a fighter since I was a kid playing SF2. I’ve played just about 85% of fighters known and blaz is arguably in my top5 fighters ever.
A cool thing i noticed about Terumi in general. He is really trying to look menacing. When he is not back in his "god" body, he is resorting to insults, swearing to make himself look big and menacing. But when he gets back to his "god" body, this entire trash talky swearing is gone and is replaced with this "I am god, you're filth" kind of talk without swearing. After all, he exists and gets strength from hate and fear, so it is quite cool to see how he tries to accomplish that in different forms.
Great video, but I will say with Lambda Despite having a similar moveset to Nu, she is NOT a Zoner. Her projectiles are a lot slower and mostly used just for control or spacing rather than locking down or comboing from range. She is much more of a Rushdown character with some long/mid range potential

They weren't working for me, so I started looking for other characters to play, which led me to Noel. Now, I play Hazama and Noel, but I'm also interested in Arakune, Amane, Kokonoe, Bang, and Bullet. Thanks for this video.
I suck at it too, the air combo's in this seem super hard to do... I think the game is great but I struggle so much if someone puts a ton of pressure on me
If ya’ll dont mind me geeking out real quick, Ragna is more of a situational awareness character with not a good mix ups on things. He's a good for learning the game and getting the foundation of BB from and he's a very good character with it. He's a 10K health character, but with his drive, stealing the opponents health and regenerating health from it, people like to joke around and say he's a 13K health character because of it, too. He has solid normals, good DP, and does decent damage. However, he has hardly any good mix ups and his approach can be predictable at times. The way how I play him is doing 2A pressure and try to stagger with it, cause that's zero on block. You can throw in an attempt to keep the opponent guessing on mix up. If you do it enough times, you can condition them into OS throw and make 5A whiff a couple of times, AND THEN go for a throw to throw them off.

I think a better way to describe Izanami would be an all offense/no defence kind of character. She every kind of offence, pressure, and mixup tool you could want. But she's has no DP and one of the lowest health pools in the game. On top of that Ribcage, her best defence option, cost Barrier. And once she loses that, she's as good as dead of one hit. Good for people who love pure offense, just don't get hit.
Money Waffles there are other chars that don’t got meterless reversals, but don’t got the amount of options izanami has. Izanami doesn’t deserve complaint.
I love this game, the characters are really cool but I just suck at it... it seems like you have to spend like about 5 years non stop playing to be any good at it
@@GrunkleBarlowe Yeah its very unforgiving, you have to have super quick fingers and you get hardly any time to connect one move into the next (especially during air combo's) I hardly ever complain about games being too hard but I think blazblue is difficult even for people who are used to playing fighting games

That's because they are almost completely different games. BBTag is a spin-off. It has the same name, because it's in the BlazBlue universe, but it's not actually a proper BlazBlue game. The characters are simplified, albeit sometimes too much, because you're supposed to be effectively playing 2 characters at the same time. It comes down to, do you want to play a more traditional anime FG, or do you want to play a tag FG?
Good video. Editing suggestion: Keep consistent in future videos. There are a lot of spaces of dead air where there could've been commentary. Removing this space could quite honestly remove minutes worth of time from the video.

A gorilla character is one that is momentum based. Once they get their stuff started, their pressure is very unmanageable. Unlike rushdown who can play both offensively and defensively, gorilla character are purely offense based and can just go in and do massive damage.
I just bought Central Fiction 2 says ago and I already had some idea of which character(s) I wanted to play, this video clarified things to me: I'll be learning Lambda/Mu and Amane, and after I get very conferable with the game's flow I'll Try Rachel.

I don't know who I want to play lol... A part of me wants to play Nine because BIG normals, I think the spell mechanic is neat, witch aesthetic, and her other BIG normals :v ... I like the sound of her gameplay, but I am also a beginner to 2D fighters honestly. Should I just play a character I want to learn, not matter how hard it may be? Or should I jump on a "fundies" character?? I remember I also tried out Es, and Bullet back in the day too. I think I tried Litchi too... I should stop trying to play so many characters lol. While I think this is a very good video overall, I have to ask- what is up with the order? I don't see any type of sorting to determine the order (aka, game, playstyle, difficulty- hell even alphabetical) of characters listed. Going from Ragna to Jin to AZRAEL does amuse me though..
I'm going into it this week, it's going to be my first actual fighting game. I'm reading up on the lore and looking around at characters, I'm thinking of trying out Kagura, Izanami and Lambda first. I'm pretty excited to finally learn a game!

Poor health and purely offensive, sounds like millia rage to me.

Arakune could be classified as "very hard" rather than simply "hard".
Some people seem to overlook just how technical the character is.
Forgive my lack of lingo knowledge, but what does a "gorilla character" means exactly? I don't get the difference with a rushdown one like say, Ragna.
A gorilla character is one that is momentum based. Once they get their stuff started, their pressure is very unmanageable. Unlike rushdown who can play both offensively and defensively, gorilla character are purely offense based and can just go in and do massive damage.

Yeah, it's basically like an actual gorilla. There's no planning or strategy, just charge in and smash always.

I just bought Central Fiction 2 says ago and I already had some idea of which character(s) I wanted to play, this video clarified things to me: I'll be learning Lambda/Mu and Amane, and after I get very conferable with the game's flow I'll Try Rachel.

I don't know who I want to play lol... A part of me wants to play Nine because BIG normals, I think the spell mechanic is neat, witch aesthetic, and her other BIG normals :v ...
I like the sound of her gameplay, but I am also a beginner to 2D fighters honestly. Should I just play a character I want to learn, not matter how hard it may be? Or should I jump on a "fundies" character?? I remember I also tried out Es, and Bullet back in the day too. I think I tried Litchi too... I should stop trying to play so many characters lol.
I have taken a sudden interest in the game again cuz of the Rollback. I genuinely want to give more fighting games a shot with Rollback becoming more of the norm.
As a dizzy main in guilty gear I guess its natural that I gravitated toward Izanami right away lol

While I think this is a very good video overall, I have to ask- what is up with the order? I don't see any type of sorting to determine the order (aka, game, playstyle, difficulty- hell even alphabetical) of characters listed. Going from Ragna to Jin to AZRAEL does amuse me though..
It was in the order I wrote the scripts. That's it.

I'm going into it this week, it's going to be my first actual fighting game. I'm reading up on the lore and looking around at characters, I'm thinking of trying out Kagura, Izanami and Lambda first. I'm pretty excited to finally learn a game!

You can always start with Ragna or Es. Easy characters to pick up that will help you define your playstyle.
