Best of luck! Because Costco is so popular among workers, there can sometimes be a lot of competition for those jobs, so please don't get discouraged if you're not selected right away. Keep trying!
Every time I put in my postal code it doesn't open up the area even though there are jobs available in Alberta Canada
Costco uses a different link for its Canadian job openings than for those in the US. Make certain you're using this link: www.costco.ca/jobs.html
Beyond that, try typing your city and province rather than using your postal code. In theory that shouldn't make a difference, but in practice we've seen it affect what shows up.
Mine keeps saying “site not available” after putting in work history
That sounds like a technical error. We'd recommend troubleshooting by trying a different browser, disabling pop-up blockers, and/or using a desktop computer instead of a mobile device. You may also try asking for assistance at your local library. Good luck!

It won’t let me type in telephone number or anything. It won’t let me type anything. It did let me go on to the next section of the application.
So, you were able to complete and submit your application, without filling out the Work Opportunity Tax Credit section? Log into your Costco careers account and double-check that your application went through and was processed correctly. If it was, then there's nothing for you to worry about; you may just wish to mention in your interview that you need to correct that information. If your application did not go through, try to apply again, and if it still doesn't work, you may need to contact Costco directly for assistance.
I complete the tax questions. Like the multiple choice of yes or no, I did that section. I put no for all of those answers.Problem is when I came to do the section of the 8850, I couldn’t actually type on the document, like I tried to fill social security number, telephone, and I couldn’t type it in.
Ah, okay. In that case, I wouldn't worry about it. That shouldn't affect your chances of getting an interview.

It can't be typed in. That document is auto-filled from the answers you gave to previous questions on the application. That screen is for review only. So you've done everything you needed to do. Good luck with your application!
When I opened the site to apply the resume tab doesn’t pop up so I’m not able to add my resume 🤔
There's no "Attach Resume" option on your screen? Are you applying on a computer or on a phone? Some job applications don't offer all features on mobile devices.

Coatco is providing accommodation to their employees??
That depends on exactly what type of accommodation you are asking about. If you mean "housing" - no, Costco does not provide housing to its employees. If you mean accommodations for workers with disabilities - yes, Costco provides reasonable accommodations for workers with documented disabilities, as is required by the ADA. Why do we have to give the last four digits of our SSN?
Job applications usually ask for this information because they need it in order to conduct a background check on you, something which has become a standard part of the hiring process, or verify that you are who you say you are.
If you are concerned, that is an understandable response! As long as you ensure that you are on the correct website, in this case: www.costco.com/jobs.html, then you can feel confident that your information is secure.
I am also afraid of giving SSN last four digit. That’s why I put 0000 😭.
We would actually recommend against doing this without explicit permission from the company. Your SSN is usually used to confirm that you are who you say you are. If you are truly uncomfortable, your best bet is to contact the company and check to see if there are paper applications or alternative methods of identity verification.

You can apply, but please be aware that if you are applying for a job in the United States, and you do not already have USA citizenship or a green card, it is very unlikely that you will be hired. Companies usually do not sponsor work visas for entry-level jobs such as these.

I just tried it and confirmed that the website is working. It did open for me both on computer and on phone. If it's not loading properly for you on your device, my advice would be to try a different device. Try the computers at the library.

Unfortunately, at this time, Costco does not have locations in India. Were you looking to move to a different country?
how do i know if you are hired?
Costco will contact you to set up a job interview. After the job interview, they will contact you again if you got the job. If you've interviewed for a position and haven't heard back, you can contact them to follow up after a couple of weeks. If you've applied for a job and haven't been contacted for an interview, you can check the status of your application under your Profile in the Costco Careers page.

That usually means that your application has been completed and received, but no one has taken a look at it yet. If you submitted your application recently, that's completely normal. But if it's been 2 weeks or more since you applied, you may want to call Costco to follow up and ask if there's anything more you need to do in order to be considered.
They need two references. I was stuck at that point; what I do?
Get creative. Start thinking about who might be a good reference for you. If you're worried that your previous boss won't give you a good reference, could you ask a former co-worker instead? If you've ever done self-employment or freelance work, could you ask a former client? If you've done volunteer work or helped with community organizations, could you ask someone you worked with there? If you're fresh out of school, could you ask a former teacher of yours? What you're ultimately looking for is someone who's seen you work hard in some setting, someone who can testify to your professionalism, work ethic, etc. (And remember: get people's permission to use them as a reference. That way, they're not caught off guard when Costco calls them to ask about you.)
