- In today's LEGO studio update, we move over the last of our display shelves and a few sets. After that, I set up a pretty sweet LEGO display in my new work space! Can you believe that we're almost fully moved into the new space?!

Jordan a big big lesson I am getting from you is that if you need to make progress you need to keep doing things even though you may not feel that execution is perfect. You can always improve something once you do it once, but if you wait inactive until “circumstances are right” you actually lose time instead of doing things right. I think this why people like to watch you, even though for almost two months the material of your channel was completely different; people (certainly myself) love to watch you do things. Especially that you are such a nice and positive thinking person.
I dont like the Billy bookcases behind our computer 😕 sorry would buy shelves instead - but then you put all our Lego sets in - that’s looks very cool 😎
I thought the same then changed my mind once seeing all the sets up there. I'd put the computer tower on the floor though under the desk.
I have a buddy that has Billy behind his building table, he has his pieces in there.
Wow, you really fit a ton of stuff in that basement! Considering how much space those parts are taking up in the loft.
It would be really cool to have a retail glass display for the middle of the room. Kind of like when you’re looking down at jewelry or at items in a museum!
Watch your health!!! Take a day off!!! Always amused me how on every occasion I moved home, my 2 brothers and mates disappeared or were unavailable to help. I did removals myself and running up and downstairs carrying and moving items etc i almost suffered heart attack.
I didn't think I would like the shelves behind the computer desk, but they look great! If you put doors on the part under the desk you could store office stuff and manage cables!
It was a great idea to put Billy behind the desk!
I really like it! I did something similar but with a kallax unit, I use the area under the desk to store things in the little boxes 😊
The UV light is gonna kill the boxed sets by the window. You should put something over the window or move them to be safe
i hope he sees this. ive had the same thing happen to me
You’re referring to the bricks inside the boxes or ruin the boxes themselves?
The boxed sets hes keeping are on the shelves. The ones on top by the window are his backlog so won't stay there forever
It doesn’t take long! I’ve had similar issues learnt my lesson. Box and brick fading, very annoying 😢
Will the sunlight discolor the lego bricks and boxes over time?
Everything is looking so great! By the way - if you have a piece of wood/mdf big enough you may be able to use it as a "shelf" in the van spanning those 2x4s on the wall? Not sure - just thought I would mention it! Love how everything is coming together!
This is amazing!! Great job doing all of this in such a short time frame. As a suggestion. The lego storage silly heads might look good in the shelves under the desk. Just a thought.
Love the shelves of cars!! Super cool!
Almost there Bricksie! You can do it!!
Love seeing the progress! Don’t like the bookcase behind the desk. But, I don’t work there so you do you!
I’m so excited to see the final product
Awesome progress
The upstairs looks so good, something kinda like that is what I want for my own lego area in the future, won't be as big but I like how the tables with the parts up like that are
Looking great!! It’s slowly coming together. Keep up the good work 😊
It looks good
killer setup
I really thought the bookshelves were going downstairs in the office. You do what you want but I much prefer the empty wall look behind your PC. Or ahh some posters or Lego arts, but the bookshelves look out of place.
I agree, it all looks like a mess on the mezzanine - too many things mish mashed together and busy looking.
The cars look awesome behind your desk. This place is going to be incredible 🔥🔥
Living my LEGO life vicariously through your channel! I’m always downsizing due to space! Keep up the excellent work.
Please make a jurassic Park and use the gate in the city!!!🥰✌️
Jordan, I know you are a couple days ahead but if you still have shelving units to move, stack them facing each other to make a cavity in the middle you can fill with some lego and get double value out of the space. Kind of like packing a cup/box of the 1x6x5 panels where you face them towards each other and fill the middle with small stuff.
Keep up the good work!
The studio is amazing ❤ i love seeing it all coming together, more than watching someone build lego. Lots of people are building lego but not many are offering the kind of content you do by showing this dream with the studio coming together 🎉❤
Looks epic with the car sets in place.
Those billboard looks in studio
It’s crazy to think everything in your studio (LEGO wise) was in your house 🤯 it’ll be so nice to have more room at home!
I hope those window covers are UV blocking and not just dimming?
Especially when you put your bricks directly in front of the windows.
impressive work so far! My hat off to you. Just a tip though. Given you have your lego bins and boxes in front of the windows, you might want to consider some UV reflective film for your windows as it will over time start discoloring your bricks and boxes. Unless you're going to block your windows up there permanently? (I mean a few months won't hurt the bricks too much and can discolor your boxes some, but you'd be surprised how quickly that goes)
I’m sure your fed up with painting but it’d be nice if you took the opportunity to paint all the table legs white before assembling
I really was imagining the front room being a reception area with a glass retail counter top so you could display your mini figs... but i must be patient and trust the bricksie process!! looks awesome so far
I’d get some black boards across the front of the shelving units that’s seen behind the tables
I think is a great idea to display your current favorite sets in your work area upstairs. Keeps you motivated. And you can continue to rotate them as new sets come out. Studio is looking great. Get some rest, too. 😊
The giant minifig heads would be perfect for the bottom shelves of the billys.
Love all your progress and hard work bricksie. Ive seen some negative comments recently n really have to save this is simply amazing progress. You are focused driven and you do it all to provide amazing episodes of content and i really appreciate what you do. Its all coming together n wanted you to know thank you for everything you do for everyone out there. Keep it real as you do.
Jordan, new place is really looking good and takingg shape. Personally though im not a fan of the shelves behind the desk. Looks like a watste of space.
I think not having the shelves there is a waste of space 🤷♂️
@Bricksie I'd go with wall mounted shelving. However it is your studio so what works best for you man 👍 maybe take a day or two off from working on it. Give yourself a wee rest, recharge the batteries.
Tales of the space age and the Van Gogh set might look cool on the wall with the art sets. Keep up the great work!
Put the shelfs above the steel airvent
Wooww look at the channel growing!! Keep at it bricksie!!
Omg take a weekend bricksie. If it becomes a chore it takes away from the fun. We will be here when you get back. Tfs
Would love to see your old city built in the middle of the new space just to see the size caparison
How would the display car boxes look underneath the desk? They seem like a great size to fill in. And make room for actual Lego in their place, where it can be seen. OR fill in the underneath with backstock sets, to be built. Coming along GREAT🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
This is a great idea! Then the shelf space under the tables won't be wasted.
Man, having the warehouse studio is such a dream! Love watching these and living vicariously
Late to the party but let's go!! 😊
Seeing all the sets in such a massive pile really highlights the infinite possibilities you have now unlocked for the future city. (Personally I would do some crazy mashups like Stormtroopers having a fun day off in the amusement park, with the star destroyer parked nearby on the beach😂)
lift straps and 2 people will make moving those sheets easier
If i were you I would take this relocation of all your lego as a good time to actually inventory all your lego so you could find out what your collection is worth. It it were my business I would make it atleast a once a year thing
Just the videos alone helps to document what is there for insurance purposes. There's only so much you can do to secure a warehouse and this one is full of expensive toys. It was much safer in his basement TBH.
Maybe you can place doors underneath on the bookcases. That way it doesn’t look weird and you conceal stuff (like the wires)
Bro I love that lord of the ring set
I thought the globe and chewy were going to get damamged. Great job!
Hi! What’s the plans for downstairs offices? Could they be bookshelves storage for LEGO? It seems like cramming a lot upstairs into that one area, seems to be getting crowded?
It is not crowded lol.
Look great
Is that white Lambo a rebrickable model?
it baffles me that he blocks the windows! will those legos in there fade because of the sun? i think building a custom wall unit that houses all the drawers like they have at the lego store to the left of the windows. computer and desk space in front of the windows. sets on the wall to the right. and then in the middle get a massive table with a couple chairs for building on. the lego storage wall could have shelves in between for some of the sets too
Yes sunlight is not good for plastic. Plus he's used to being in a basement anyway.
@@yellowfr0g oh yeah duh haha. i didn’t consider that his old room has been windowless for a long time. i’m just surprised the lego piece storage is sitting in front of the window where the light shines through. otherwise i like the design he did today
Omg that looks good! Replace the gnocchi with perogies.. yummy
I usually get a bit cranky around dinner time as well. I feel his pain. As always amazing content a progress! Keep it up!
Where's today's video gone it was there earlier now vanished ?
It just got privated for some reason, hopefully it will be back up soon.
What are you using to clean the Car models with?
I want and outside tour of this place
Hey what about making the entry room dedicated to the Bricksies? Photos of the family etc. would make a warm inviting entrance.
you should put the colosseum in the city!
Costco has good deals on totes with lids
I don’t even play with Lego but I’m so invested in these daily vlogs. Gonna be sooo cool when it’s done ❤
cant you turn the small units you used for the medevil village on there side and fill them with the smaller stuff
i thought was gonna be horrible but looked really awesome in the end! 🎉
What if you lay the billy bookcases flat in the truck. Pack smaller sets it the ‘cubbies’ and then another set of billies on top and repeat?
you have so many built sets, I get anxiety if I have more than 10 sets built at a time hahah
You should put all your favourite set upstairs because there the set that you are going to see the most
How will you remember what city stuff goes together like say how two different plates of the campground how will you remember where they go?
It's looking great and you need a day off or go to bed before midnight, nothing good happens after midnight.
Can you setup a Star Wars collection display for May the 4th?
Great accomplishments so far. I think you may be running on adrenaline by now! The excitement is building 🧱! Pun intended!
Gnocchi is a fun word!
Rest bud. Looks awesome, but it's take breaks when you need them!
Great. Now I have to buy some Mickey shoes and wear them as I build Lego! 😅
Take a nap on the studio couch. Don't want to over wear yourself. Look forward to seeing the city on the tables again. hope you have a great day :)
With the heating system on the wall
Have you thought of putting a shelf above it and putting all your long build above it
Love your channel and videos. There is a lot of money's worth in that studio. I hope you have a really good insurance in case of (God forbid) a fire or a break in.
Looking forward to seeing your new Lego City! 🙂
Keep on keeping on!
the desktop computer on the shelf is driving me nuts... it needs put on the lower shelf out of sight and it messed up your matching shelf heights... OCD nightmare. lol
Haha Right! I agree but I think Bricksie really likes it on the shelf since it's brand new and has all those lights.
K, I'll change that when I swap out that shelf
I hope you invested in a good security system. Better to be safe than sorry.
Do you plan on putting a modern firehouse or fire hydrants around your City?
Congratulations man on everything.
You have so much work to do LOL
someone at TLG is doing a Jig for making Lego sets stay together better when they see that truck load, Haha!
Mrs. Bricksie's cooking always looks so good...she should write a cookbook I'd buy it
Hey, I got a question for you guys and for Jordan if he answers me, in a few days I'm moving, and the thing is that I have a Lego city and it's not massive but not small, some of you has some recommendations for moving everything without mixing parts of sets?? Thank you!!
Amazing progress!! Going to be so cool when setup.
Bricksie - have you looked at it and thought "How did all of that fit in the basement"?
I'd use those shelving units downstairs and build new ones that don't sacrifice 1/3 of the storage capacity.
That said, if you do leave them you may want to figure out where you're most likely to sit in front of them and leave the bottom shelves empty so you can stretch your legs out and get comfy. A little patch of carpet with double sided tape on the bottom shelf and you're gtg. 🙂
Are you keeping any lego at home?
I feel tired watching you do this move so I can’t imagine how exhausted you feel 😮
Great spot for that Concorde!
When I saw the thumbnail, I was really hoping you were moving the parts along the other wall. Ah well no luck. As long as you like your setup, that's all that matters even though I'd place things differently lol.
Indeed, I do like it
So what was that dinner? just pan roasted gnocchi, sausage and veggies? did you precook the gnocchi?
The book cases behind desk looks bad.
I love it ❤️
Your commited lol..but it's gotta be done eh. Looking epic
