Havik and Hotaru were the best additions in the 3D era of MK. It's disappointing that NRS didnt plan to pursue the Chaos vs Order part of MK. It's quite underrated.
I think one of the biggest wastes of the 3D Era storylines is that Hotaru and Havik never had any sort of fight or meeting. By all accounts they are full blown enemies yet besides causing some minor issues with each other's realms, neither of them have met. I'd love to see how the two would fight one another, Havik's chaotic and unpredictable abilities vs Hotaru's controlled, brutal and unforgiving ones. I think it'd also be interesting to see a storyline go over the hypocrisy of bother realms where in the Order Realm, its all about maintaining order but they seem keen on influencing other realms, thus breaking their own natural order so in a way they are creating chaos whereas Chaos Realm is all about chaos, no rules, nothing makes sense except they have a clear religion and people of this realm can somehow follow and learn fighting styles and they also have no issue forcing Saiden Guards into thinking their way which would kind of go against their idea of freedom. They worship water because it has no real shape, yet they have no issue forcing a shape on a person. Both are extremes of their ideas but they also contradict these ideas as Order Realm interferes with order and Chaos Realm has religion, hierarchies and will force people into their way of thinking. I honestly have a head canon that there is a Chaos and Order god but they run the opposite realm of their namesake and their denizens aren't aware of that. The Order God runs the 'Chaos Realm' with the logic being that the true order of reality is nonexistence, the Realms are made up of the One Being who was split apart and altered from his true nature so everything being destroyed and him returning would be bringing the universe back to its original order which is why the Chaos Realm looks destroyed and incomplete. Would also explain why despite being so chaotic, the Chaos Realmers can form organizations, can speak coherent languages, learn things and have no issue on forcing people to do things. 'Order Realm' meanwhile is forcing people to act certain ways even when it doesn't make sense or is clearly idiotic. They are even willing to go into different realms to enforce their ideas even when by all accounts they are interfering with the natural order of that realm. With such strict control, they could easily keep the realms from merging and prevent The One Being from influencing anyone because everyone would be under their rule and thus the One Being remains separated, the realms which aren't meant to be still exist and little pockets of rebellion still keep chaos alive. That would be a very interesting twist, two devout followers of order and chaos respectively learning that their actions were actually in service of the opposite. Everything they knew was a lie, they were the villains according to their own beliefs. I imagine Hotaru would probably kill himself learning this but how would Havik react to learning he's an agent of order? He's already insane, would he even care, would he try to disturb the natural order of his realm, ironically destroying chaos in service of Chaos? There is an interesting story there.

I can't believe Hotaru arrested Shujinko for breaking curfew in the OrderRealm which Shujinko not from his realm and it took away Shujinko entire life up until he became a old man.

There’s a chance for underrated characters to be sick if u can give them a sick concept for example hotaru: My idea is to basically make hotaru, the MK’s version of hitler since he is about order and havik (wasted plotential for him too) basically the twisted freedom fighter (he sees chaos as freedom) Imagine hotaru being so hellbent on willing to establish order through the realms that he’s willing to put a truce with havik temporarily, at least to take down supertitan Shang tsung. U can even have Stryker get some character development with him calling out hotaru with strict and violent as after all he is a policeman. Havik and hotaru become elder gods of blood and together they destroy soul Titan Shang Tsung and then they betray each other due to their extremist beliefs about what they think and the player can decide who becomes the victor: havik or hotaru with either endings being as fucked up as each other Havik’s ending will have every realm in flames with him being the Titan of chaos, with his minions such as shinnok, cetrion, raiden, fujin, Kotal, Shao and geras to help havik with the realms going into anarchy. Hotaru’s ending will be with all the realms looking very futuristic and dystopian with it looking peaceful at first. But then, u look at heroes (e.g. Sindel, Johnny cage, Jax Briggs) who’s suffering and crying bcoz they have to witness their children suffer eternal torment and they face death as their final punishment with the children of the heroes(e.g. kitana, Cassie, jacqui) not wanting to go so soon as they want to spend more time with theor loved ones but hotaru’s men kills them off anyway with no emotion. With the whole balance between "good and evil, order and chaos" thing Mortal Kombat 11 focused on with Kronika's threat to all the Realms, it really irks me the the realms of Seido and Chaosrealm (you know, ORDER and CHAOS) didn't play any kind of major role whatsoever in the plot. A deadly alliance plot could work for both hotaru and havik. But since havik is more mentioned by fans, I think hotaru will defo need a concept that will make him awesome. Also wanted to say that I knew 0% about mk I only knew like mainstream charecters like scorpion sub zero and raiden and your vids really helped me learn the 100+ different charecters and so I wacted all your vids then I replayed mk9 and 10 before buying mk11 and aftermath so thank you

I feel like Hotaru could be a good character to struggle with Order and morality if the story right, He could really have to decide if order is more important than people in a good story and have him change from a semi bad guy to a good one in a future installment

Well, Havik is derived from the word havoc which comes from an old French word "havot" (means pillaging), and Hotaru means "firefly". So, Havik's name is Western and does makes sense with the context of his character; and Hotaru's name is Eastern and doesnt really make sense. Unless fireflies somehow symbolize order in a way I am unaware of.
He has a lot of potential. I hope he returns, but isn't ruined. Also though it's never been established I have a theory that maybe Fujin is the protector God of Seido and that explains his absence in the ORIGINAL time-line. What do you think? 🤔
Fujin was protector of earthrealm in the old timeline. He wasn't present early on because he was recovering from his fight with Bi-han in MK mythologies
Alternate MK11 Aftermath endings have different sets of characters returning the status quo. Liu Kang’s side deals with various Mortal Kombat X characters and Shang Tsung has to deal with Onaga and Deception’s kast. Status quo being very operable.
If anything i hope they bring 3 era caracthers back and give us a Krypt expansion where we could travel to any realm so we could collect items and see them all in a game like mk11. I know this probably wont happen but nothing wrong with dreams lol

Mk has so much potential in their existing lore that it’s such a shame they don’t touch upon it, I don’t care about these recycled stories and boring new villains that never return in the series. Give us stuff they showed a couple times and never expanded upon

I mean if I have a choice between either going to the orderrealm and chaosrealm. I would choose chaosrealm since the laws in orderrealm is very strict and the punishment breaking the laws in orderrealm is bit too extream plus their enforces in orderrealm expect me to fellow the rules even I don't know them since they don't tolerate law breakers. In Chaosrealm there are no laws so I can do what ever you want and there is abouslate freedom in Chaosrealm at the same time I must learn to protect myself to relatively high degree since there are no laws to protect me or keep me safe.

Im pissed at hotaro for arresting shujinko for all those years over a curfew.
I feel like Hotaru could be a good character to struggle with Order and morality if the story right, He could really have to decide if order is more important than people in a good story and have him change from a semi bad guy to a good one in a future installment
Or make him a full on villain that will go to any lengths to set order to the realms

@@ichangedidk9097 true but remember, there was the vigilante group led by Darius bcoz hotaru’s rule was that strict, no one could survive the extreme conditions. So Darius basically made it for freedom and wanted it to be like earthrealm in terms of government and law
Plus we have Stryker as the good order guy which is why I insist him being a bad guy

I’d love to see Havik and Hotaru in MK11
Well, Havik is derived from the word havoc which comes from an old French word "havot" (means pillaging), and Hotaru means "firefly". So, Havik's name is Western and does makes sense with the context of his character; and Hotaru's name is Eastern and doesnt really make sense. Unless fireflies somehow symbolize order in a way I am unaware of.
Don't know if you know this by now, but Fireflies are basically the symbols of war in Japan

He has a lot of potential. I hope he returns, but isn't ruined. Also though it's never been established I have a theory that maybe Fujin is the protector God of Seido and that explains his absence in the ORIGINAL time-line. What do you think? 🤔
Fujin was protector of earthrealm in the old timeline. He wasn't present early on because he was recovering from his fight with Bi-han in MK mythologies
How can anyone like Hotaru? He locked up Shujinko for years due to curfew and walks around like law is God.
Alternate MK11 Aftermath endings have different sets of characters returning the status quo. Liu Kang’s side deals with various Mortal Kombat X characters and Shang Tsung has to deal with Onaga and Deception’s kast. Status quo being very operable.
In the new timeline, Hotaru and Motaro went on to have a kid named Motaru.

The biggest issue with the 3-D era was the insane focus they put on the Red and Black Dragon Clans who were always boring and useless

I think they were mentioned in Kabal's bio. In fact Mavado and Hsu Hao were both members and this was brought up in Deadly alliance

Mk has so much potential in their existing lore that it’s such a shame they don’t touch upon it, I don’t care about these recycled stories and boring new villains that never return in the series. Give us stuff they showed a couple times and never expanded upon

The Nova Corps and Hotaru and The Seidein Guardsmen look very similar to each other.
Would it be possible for you to do a video from Armageddon to the intro of MK9 breaking down who died and possibly how because I didn't really play deception or Armageddon so a lot of the characters I didn't really recognize outside of the core fan favorites
NetherRealm should make Hotaru And Stryker Rivals it would start out with the Too of them having a mentor Student relationship
That took a turn for the worst after Stryker find out the truth nature of the seidans and there ways of Enforcing Law
But Stryker is from earth realm and hotaru is from orderrealm
That acc has a lot of potential, good order vs bad order

I mean if I have a choice between either going to the orderrealm and chaosrealm. I would choose chaosrealm since the laws in orderrealm is very strict and the punishment breaking the laws in orderrealm is bit too extream plus their enforces in orderrealm expect me to fellow the rules even I don't know them since they don't tolerate law breakers. In Chaosrealm there are no laws so I can do what ever you want and there is abouslate freedom in Chaosrealm at the same time I must learn to protect myself to relatively high degree since there are no laws to protect me or keep me safe.
