What's up Steady Manos! Hope you been good bro!
@@djdannybhtx just chilling being a bum.. lol
@@steadymanos haha! Sometimes there's nothing wrong with that!
Nice setup. I like the idea of placing yourself to the side of the speakers. That way, you won't be blasted with the subs and be able to listen to the speakers full sound from the front, without being too close. I would put the subs together (coupled) for a 3 db gain. That way your subs will work less or you can go louder with the same power. Also, the tops should be at least 6' high, from the bottom of the speaker. Thanks for the video.
Good advice. Thanks for watching
Very nice gig. The party sure looked like a lot of fun. Just one thing I think you should raise your top speakers higher. Just earned a subscriber
Thanks for watching and thanks for the advice.
Excellent setup. How long did all that take? I agree the tops could be higher. Have a great 2020 and make that money !
Thanks for watching. I usually give myself 1 hour per option I bring (sound, lighting). I had plenty of time to get everything set up, take the video's, and in some cases retake the video shots. Same to you, hope your 2020 is amazing.
Really enjoyed the walkthrough of the gear used. Which dj facade is that?
Thanks for watching. It is the ADJ Event Façade.
cool gig log , question are those up lights battery powered or are the connected to an outlet ? New subscriber !
Thanks for watching. The Uplights I use are ADJ QA5. They are battery powered and have Wifly capabilities. This means wireless DMX also.
Hey Leo, good video as always! I have a question, I´m not sure if you are using the active EKX series from EV. I wanna buy the EKX 18SP Sub. Maybe you can tell me how many people this sub can handle in terms of weddings and birthdays? I usually have events up to 100 people and therefore I need a sub as addition to my 12 inch tops.
Hey, first off Thanks for watching. The subs in this video are the EV ETX. I have the EV EKX but they are passive. I usually use my EKX passives for events where the guest count is around 100 to 200 people. The EKX line is very good. The only thing I do not like about it is that the 18 inch sub does not have a wheel set. Thankfully though it only weighs 80 lbs so it can be picked up and placed on a cart. I think you will be very happy with the EV EKX 18SP's.
@@Housemix10 Thank you for that really helpful answer! Have a good day!
Hey bro always enjoy your vids top notch DJ! Just curious what you charged the client for this event? Keep up the the great work.
Hey Thanks for watching. I will not put a dollar amount because I will have potential clients view my video's. I will say that I charged this client a good fair price for the type of event they held and the options they received from me.
I would’ve charge at least $1500
I got $2000 for bringing less than half of that this past Saturday. With the equipment he brought I would gauge this around the ball park of $3000 - $3500
did you climb those damn stairs with your equip?
Nah, there is a loading dock in the back. There they have an easy roll up ramp. Thanks for watching.
:29 was that dude painting?
Ha ha, yes. Some last minute touch ups. Thanks for watching.
Leo, do you do these gigs all by yourself??
Yes I do. Depending on the events I might bring a friend to hand out but usually it is just me having fun.
Housemixer Leo D man I give it up to you bro! Thats a lot of work!
@@djdannybhtx Thanks.
