When you're worth millions and can afford a $50 million mansion, water level is the least of your concerns.....let the city worry about that while you're having fun...

Usually neighborhoods like these have 24/7 security and gates at the front where you have to show your ID. If you are a guest they will call the owner to make sure you belong there
Mine would be water and flood insurance. Hurricanes and rising sea levels are a much more serious threat.

They are all great houses. But, and I really hate to rain on the parade here... you all do know that Miami's long term future is not looking too bright? Has anyone taken a look at those fancy maps generated by climatologists? The ones that show what the world is going to look like 20, 30 and 50 years from now... Miami along with the Keys and pretty much all of the southern quarter or so of Florida are going to be reclaimed by the sea. Miami and all these super nice and expensive houses are just a few feet above sea level. It's like buying real estate in Atlantis.

I have actually been inside #5, which is 46 Star Island. Yes, it would be my top pick. Plus, it's the only one on Miami Beach. The rest are all in Coral Gables. Miami Beach > Coral Gables and yes, I have lived in both cities.

Their also newer construction in many cases. Because most of the Mansions in Atlanta are either renovated old construction from like the 1900s to 1990s or designed in a turn of the century astatic. Due primarily to the HOA in the wealthy gated communities. Which is rather irritating and is why those houses generally hit the market every few years.
I like Ciral Gables a lot. Reminds me at my hometown Caracas Venezuela.
