Corvette C6 ZR1 | 1000HP Death Trap

  • We review a well-modified 2009 Chevy Corvette C6 ZR1 that makes over 850WHP. Unfortunately, it didn't make it, had some cooling issues and clutch slave problems. This is the fun of modified cars. For roughly $70,000 on the used market this supercar-like beast may be a good value for those considering cars like the Porsche 911, Acura NSX, BMW M cars, Audi RS, and Mercedes AMG products.

Everything people say about these cars, good or bad, goes away when you get behind the wheel. It provides a raw and exhilarating experience that not a lot of cars can provide, especially these days. They're light and handle really well too. Great in a straight line, and amazing around a track. This goes for the c6 z06/zr1, and c7 z06/zr1 really.

Sunk back into the seat and flew by everyone, I heard it roar going through the highway underpass so loud; even with the windows up. I went from 35 to 80 in what felt like only a few seconds. King of the hill. It takes a lot of mods on most cars to equal a two-generation old stock car that was based on a car that came out in 1997. A 25 year-old platform. With an engine design dating back to the 50's. I love these cars and all the Vettes from C5-C7. They will probably be relevant forever even if the looks don't age well like a 911.
