    Once you lift the lines, psychologically the chance of it returning dissipates and things get built accross the line. Too many lines were lifted in a knee-jerk way, after all of the toil and struggle to construct the thing in the first place…..trains and buses are the answer to today’s energy and congestion problems but so many byways are blocked by developments and have decayed or become overgrown.

    the line from cymer to bridgend closed in the seventies see the book lost lines western region and in the beeching report the same line to bridgend was marked has a sugetic line for investment

    Your subtitles state the Rhondda Tunnel was completed in 1819 when, in fact, it was completed in 1890.
