  • In this video I replace the front and rear sprockets, along with the chain on a Yamaha sr 125 motorcycle.
    I'm using a D.I.D chain
    didchain.com
    and JT sprockets...

Absolutely awesome video. Especially helpful in that it showed which to turn bolts so I didn't strip them on my SR125. 10/10.

Just watched again as doing my lad’s friend’s chain and sprockets for the second time in only a few months after he didn’t bother lubing the chain regularly and killed both items prematurely! Bloody teenagers! Cheers fella.

Great video mate, there is very few videos on the sr125 bikes. I just picked one of these up for my daughters boyfriend who has his CBT booked for next month and this video helped a lot.. I have done chain and sprockets on multiple bikes before but it is always nice to have something to reference.. thanks..

Happy I could help. I have a few other sr125 vids on here, including front fork replacement that may be of some interest

Thanks a lot. This is my first bike, just like many who have owned this. The ease of repairs on this thing makes it such a good first bike.
So glad someone out there has made tutorials for it since it is so common.

99% sure those sprocket cover screws are JIS,
Simply because the previous owner of mine nearly stripped them q.q
which is a pretty good indicator to me that they once were JIS.

Probably. Couldn’t see the little dot on them which normally dictates so.
