I built a LEGO Technic RC powerboat

- My following projects will be water-based, so I built an experimental powerboat to test various gear ratios with LEGO RC motors. The final result, which can be seen in this video, uses the inner output of each RC motor to drive two propellers via two 90-degree gearboxes that use a 20-tooth bevel as a driver gear (input), and a 12-tooth bevel as a follower gear (output). The gearboxes are on the same level as the propellers, in order for them to be submerged and use the water to keep them cool and lubricated (gear damage prevention).

What type of propeller situation did you have love it?
I use RC propellers with a 3-stud Technic axle permanently fixed in them. You can check out my tutorials to see how I screw the axle on them.
In the frame 11”02 is that a bout that he sunk earlier look in the crner overall, I like the videos😊😂♥️🚢
This is actually the place where I sank my merchant ship a few years ago! I recovered the ship though... 😊

They are old Technic minifigures. You could probably get them from BrickLink.
συγχαρητηρια! να ρωτησω, ο σχεδιασμος μονο περιπου ποσο χρονο παιρνει; δηλαδη να ξερεις ποσα εξαρτηματα χρειαζεσαι συνολικα (γιατι στο βιντεο ηταν ετοιμες οι πιο δυσκολες κατασκευες πχ οι προπελες)

Ευχαριστώ πολύ! Ο σχεδιασμός και η κατασκευή του συγκεκριμένου μου πήρε κοντά στη μία ώρα (ήταν μία έμπνευση της στιγμής). Χρησιμοποίησα την ίδια κατασκευή για τις προπέλες από παλαιότερο σκάφος (με μία αλλαγή για να φιλοξενηθούν τα μεγαλύτερα μοτέρ), όπως επίσης και τα ίδια καθίσματα. Γενικά, δεν αφιέρωσα πολύ χρόνο γιατί ήθελα απλά να δοκιμάσω την συμπεριφορά των μοτέρ με συνδυασμό γραναζιών για αύξηση στροφών. Τα μεγαλύτερα σκάφη σίγουρα μου παίρνουν περισσότερο χρόνο, γι'αυτό τα σχεδιάζω πρώτα στον υπολογιστή.
Η παραλία είναι ο Άγιος Νικόλαος στην Παλαιά Φώκαια.

How in the word do you attach that transmitter to the Lego components
That powerboat used an SBrick controller. Very easy to mount.
