Wasn't even wearing a helmet 😂
South Indian hero, wouldn't be surprised if he opened the cockpit and did that BF kill with a launcher and jumped back into the plane too
@@Archer89201the rendezook💀
But he flew a Rafale, though.. 😂
Well it was a South Indian movie; so...
this is indian movie fact bro😂😂
Would love to see a squadron of retired fighter pilots (and rio's), like Hasard, Ryan from Max Afterburner, Mooch Carroll, CW Lemoine go up against a squadron of elite virtual only pilots like Growling Sidewinder, Longshot and their buddies.
would pay to see this!
Thats not gonna happen. They could also only fight with guns, no missiles.
@@i.ak.1684 why?
@@BlyGuyBecause obviously the way you do BVR engagements needs you to fully understand your aircraft and weapon. The stuff in dcs are only used from public infos. real life might be way better. for example a MAR for a aim120c in dcs up at 30k feet is around 30 miles. But real life might be 50 or 80. But only the real pilots know that. So when you get into a fight all of a sudden you start defending at 50 miles where the missile only has that kind of performance in real life then you can get into a lot of trouble. Beucase many countries will be watching and thats why its classified.
@@niuniuhhh I'm talking about real pilots that Also play DCS. Not randos

i think you missed the asymetrical thrust maneuver from the su-27^^ that was brilliant move from that sim-pilot^^ like in top gun - maverick the dogfight scene^^
I think that has definitely become even more popular after Growling Sidewinder started experimenting with it after it was shown in the movie, and especially after he showed that yes, in fact, it does work as long as you manage the asymmetry.
Just remember kids: If you are going to try this in DCS (or any sim, really), don't actually move the throttles asymmetrically. Just pull the burner from the side you want to turn towards and be ready to flick it back on so you don't flat spin. And don't forget that the further apart your engines are, the more effective the maneuver will be.
He’s not a sim pilot so he probably looks at things different. It’s like a actual tier 1 soldier watching call of duty 360 no scopes……. It’s ridiculous to them
@@PhycoKrusk flat spins... fun
@@k.t.1641 Yeah, but it's something the real SU-27 is capable of doing, if the airshow demo's over the years have proven
@@k.t.1641 Asymmetric thrust combined with rudder was used by real WW2 bomber pilots to give enemy fighters a false lead when lining up the sights.
Hi Hasard. The first video deals with a F/A-18 Swiss Hornet. The solo display pilot does a demonstration in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Specifically on a shooting range named AXALP. This aerial show takes place every year and fighter planes make real shots at targets in the mountains. Trust me, a spectacular time to live !
Yea. I was confused when he said it’s not a US jet tho since the F/A-18 was designed and built in the US but I can see the other side
American pilot thinks they are the best in the world as a result they don’t know a thing what’s going on outside America, except when they are « killed » in red flag or others NATO air meets exercise. I remember so many example of that….. « hard to be humble »….
@@Fly-Road well they do have the best tech
@@darkofthearmy in this job the tech is a pro for sure but the pilot could be a cons, so the aim is to defeat the pilot, and i can tell you that it appears sometimes that some US pilots rely too much on their tech forgetting the tatic''s basics ....
@@Fly-RoadI'm pretty sure he was only saying it's clearly not a US jet because of the altitude and the flares, most likely against some training rules or something... how did you get that he was saying US Pilots are the world's best from that..
Last clip was the definition of “Indian Top Gun”
Lol that scene was joked about a lot in India as well.
Actor: Vijay thalapathy
Movie name: Beast
Main language: Tamil
And has the worst reputation in fighter piloting
The first clip was a Swiss Air Force vintage F/A-18 during the annual Axalp "Fliegerschiessen" in the Swiss alps. It includes target practice with the gun in between the air show elements as shown in this clip. There are quite some spectacular maneuvers to be seen, as the Swiss really know how to get the most out of the original Hornet in a confined space between two mountains and I'd love to hear your comments about it. 😊
Hi Hasard,
Thanks for all the US aviation and fighter pilot content, I’ve been watching for a while and love seeing the difference with the UK where I’m at. I’m 18 and last summer did my first solo flight in a glider with the cadets, before that I had a pretty strong desire to fly fast jets as the RAF calls them, but the solo solidified that passion even more. Thanks for all the content, it helps sometimes when I’m stuck at college doing my A levels, and need to remember what I’m putting all this work in for. Rob
Keep it up, my friend!
Wish you all the best robert. Follow your dreams
me and you have very similar goals, hope you make it!
That first clip is from the axalp demonstration in Switzerland. Major trip to go on the bucket list!
Piloted by "Fonsi," I believe
Hi Hasard! I have shared the video to all my friends and have been subscribed for a good minute. I am truly appreciative of the hard work and sacrifice that you and your camarades have made, serving our country, and you can bet I already pre-ordered your book -- I cannot wait to read about your stories!
Fun fact: I work on the F-35 project at Northrop Grumman ... so in a unique way, we have one less degree of separation than I would've thought. I wonder if any of the planes I am on projects for will make their way to you piloting them -- now that would be really cool.
Would love to chat more with you, one day. Thank you again for all you do.
Jay
I remember just rolling around on the floor laughing after watching that last one in a theatre. Movie's name is 'beast' and it's about this guy sneaking into Pakistan in a su30 and kidnapping a terrorist, stuffing him in the back and fighting his way into the sunset.
i just found your channel but i love it already keep up the good work and i was just wondering as someone who wants to join the airforce what was the hardest part of becoming a jet pilot
Awesome video! Can't wait to see what's next up. Keep up the great work. Thank you
The dcs carrier clip was from grim reapers, they were trying to use a cobra to land on the deck and if I remember correctly they did catch a wire after about a week of trying
Regarding the flares at low altitude, have seen at many US airshows (Nellis and Miramar), where both the USAF and USMC have done flare deploys under 1000 feet agl. That being said, I do know airshows (especially at bases) have totally different rules. Awesome vid as always!
Love anything you put out, Hasard! I'll watch practically anything you produce! Book release is coming soon, really looking forward to my copy in the mail! Thanks for all the great content!
Great video! I'll never be a pilot, but I enjoyed it and will watch whatever you put up. I read about your book the other day and ordered it immediately thru Amazon - before I knew you had a site. And, it just came. I can't wait to learn what you have to teach us. I did share your site with my partner, who loves all things military, and with my son who just retired as an AF Col.
Great video! Really interesting to see how fast you saw through DCS when most take a few mins to do so!
Pre-ordered the audio book - cant wait. Thanks for all you do.
“Why don’t we do freestyle Fridays?”
Marine Corps air wing: “Here’s our first volunteer to take everyone’s barracks duty assignment this weekend…any more questions?”
I just found your account now and I love your content already! I think I'll be spending many hours just watching your videos now :) Thanks for making this kind of content! I really enjoy listening to you!
Just curious, where do you get these clips (as in where on CZcams [if it's on CZcams], what you search up, etc.)?
Great content as always. Did you ever come over to the UK? I'm from England but Wales next door has the 'mach loop' which looks incredible and I've seen USAF aircraft 'on the loop'. I just wondered if you were ever fortunate to do the loop?
It's really amazing to see an actual fighter pilot comment on such videos. I got into fighter planes like a week ago for no reason and have been binge-watching your videos ever since. Thank you for the great content!
Two favorite memories of being in junior high...career day when my classmate's dad came in who was fighter pilot and wore jumpsuit(not sure if that's the right term) and brought his helmet and talked to us and when they had Marines come and teach us how to properly raise, lower and fold the American flag. One of my favorite arcade games growing up...After Burner. Don't you have to be careful standing around the jets...I saw a video of a guy getting sucked into the engine on an aircraft carrier who stood up too close to it but lived.
Im actually very glad that real fighter pilots are on youtube now. It really allows outsiders to get a better impression. Also that patch does look fancy.
as always luv your work Hasard..
Awesome video! Would love to see more!
The last one was hilarious. No pressure suit? One high G move and lights out.
So awesome vid man!
Thx for this channel and service. Great infos❤
Hey a little off topic, but what watch are ya wearing there?
Super excited for your book, got the notification it should be here by Friday! 😊
Thanks for the reacting to the videos. Its good to have a prospective of a pro.
Thanks for the video!
How do i get the supersonic bookplate?
Love to see you guys fly in the Top Ace!
The first video was from the Swiss Axalp Fliegerschiessen ( Pilot shooting training). You can get tickets online to watch Fighter shoot in the mountainwalls
Hi Hasard. The first clip was a Swiss Air Force legacy F/A-18 on the Axalp show, which is every year in October in the Swiss alps.
Awesome video!
Book ordered but where do I place the code?
Good stuff as always! Greetings from the other side of T&E!
Sir I am watching your videos for more than 1 and half years now and I am happy to say I have been selected been selected for INDIAN NAVY as a NAVAL PILOT...I have tried multiple times to get the patch but no luck...I wish before joining the Naval academy I am lucky enough to get the patch...
Sir, what brand of wrist watch do you wear?
Can’t wait for the book! Still one of my fav content creators!
Pre-ordered your book. Looking forward to see if there are some good and relevant takeaways.

Nice video, keep up the good work
That last clip had me rolling. Nothing beats crazy movies like a good Indian drama.
4:40 - Point is: Differetial throttle. You can see the afterburner used only for one engine which caused extreme maneuver.
Hey there, amazing video! As someone who has always been fascinated by fighter jets, I'm curious to know what was the most enjoyable part of your F-16 pilot training?
this is the first time ive ever seen your videos but i (BEEP) love it.
you are good to explain what is smart and what isnt.
PS just subscribed
Great insight!
I could use that patch. I don't have long to live so I'm trying to win everything I can.
My nephew is a fighter pilot and he is an interesting guy to talk to. I'm fascinated with fighter pilots and the skills they have.
For you as a fighter pilot it must be SO FUNNY sometimes to watch these videos ahah
Amazing clip from axalp 👏. Would love to see the blue angels performing there.
first clip is the axalp in switzerland. Its a demostration of the airforce wich is every year
you gotta be there irl so much fun
hello there, that first vid of the hornet using flares at low altitude was of the Swiss Air Force F18 demo team at axalp. axalp is a firing range in the Swiss alps, however there is an airshow there each year in which aircraft do live firing and flare demos for the crowd.
retired crew chief! Nellis AFB 64th Aggressor Squadron! We had some pretty good Freestyle Fridays! Our pilots would always throw us a hell of a party on TDY though! Love you guys! (as long as you aren't breaking my jet!) LOL
Always appreciate your videos as a real fighter pilot, Hasard. Are you still an active duty pilot?
thank you for giving us crew chiefs some respect
Love your videos!!!
Amazing insight to how different pilots from air force and navy are trained differently 🤙🤙🤙
'At least we have Top Gun' Yes, that film is epic.
Where did you get that picture in the background
I need it
i think the DCS clip with the F18 dogfighting the SU-27 was a growling sidewinder vid where he was experiment with differential thrust in various jets.
No, it was from Harpia’s player Trigger. Here’s the link czcams.com/users/shortsLDZkFnj6tXo?feature=share
Hi Hasard!
Question: how different is the training for the three variants of the F-35? Do pilots just do the same training no matter where they go? Or are they separated so navy folks train carrier landings, marines do VTOL, etc? Maybe a common part and then specializations?
Thanks for your videos! Really interesting :)
Every training squadron has its own training regimen because they're all led by different people. This especially includes training for different types of aircraft. I'm no instructor but my father, Lt Col. Dave Leazer has been an f-16 instructor since the early 90's, just retired a few years ago.
Iirc, in US service the A is Air Force, the B is Marines, and the C is Navy. Naval Aviator training (that the Marines also go to) is different from the Air Force Pilot training, so that would be one key difference. Then on top of that, in each school Navy or AF you'd learn the basics of flight, then get selected for your airframe and move on to how that works. In normal circumstances airframe classes are separate, so a Super Hornet class wouldn't learn with an E-2 class, theyd teach each other stuff thats unnecessary, so becides the overall avionics being very similar, i doubt the Marines and Navy F-35 pilots learn with each other, and for sure the Air Force guys are on a whoke seperate base.
Pretty cool, thanks for showing.
Former 15 and 16 Crew Chief here. Thanks for the shoutout.
As someone who has met the F-22 Demo team for CAP and was hoping to coin someone or be coined, I would greatly appreciate the possibility of getting that F-35 patch as it must mean a great deal of respect and hard work. I hope to achieve my dream and the dream of many people involved in aviation to become the pilot of some of the amazing aircraft everyones country has to offer. I am more of an F-15 and F-22 guy 🫡🇺🇸
Just found your channel! Love it! Thank you for your Dedication and Service! Your book info has been sent to my son for a birthday gift for me 😂🤞🫡
First time i see your videos 👍🏻 you got a new subscriber, greetings from Mexico 💪🏻
Hasard : I’m giving away a patch!
Me : *Heavy breathing, intense sweating and twitchy fingers*
Sir i ordered your book as soon as it was announced. Is it a good read for high school kids
Quick question…where did you get that art behind you. I have a best friend that is an E9 in the Air Force and has been assigned to a Viper squadron and now a F35 squadron, so it’s a perfect first for him
I once was fishing in a canyon shortly after moving to north California and had an F-16 rip past so low I’m sure it was in the canyon right above me. So far the coolest flyby of my life.
Video has been shared, have already been subbed for a while now lol
That first one was a video game my man
The clip with the guy flying without a helmet and was only wearing T shirt is hilarious
first time I watch a video like this! really nice! serious in content, like to learn about ACM, i find some content about BFM on channels like GS, but not much about ACM! grear Job!
Hi Hasard I just found your Chanel and you should keep up the good work
Hi Hasard,
Please may I kindly ask if you may deliver your book to the UK ? I prefer reading using a physical book :-D
Thank you
Kind regards,
Jas
Lol only us DCS Dogfighters can appreciate triggers flankers reverse split throttle kill on that hornet 😂 amazing !
Hasard figured out the algorithm and about to go viral
This is so cool. I am a pilot in training and I am 13 years old and want to be a f-35 pilot one day. Love this video
Nice comments on the low flying and flares, this is Switzerland a small country with 67% Mountains (The Alps) the place they do this is called Axalp, happens every Year and they do know very well what they do, and there are no forest around the area, so no risks for fires.
Great video once again , love following you .. thank-you Hasard Lee .. Can't wait for your next installment. Be safe !
Cool stuff!
Luckily we have topgun 😂😂
I really enjoyed this type of video. Hope to see more!
just because you flew my favorite new airplane.....new sub earned!
Very nice video!
Very cool video, just one question, is it true that fighters jet can go trough the explosion without any damage? I always saw it in the movies but I'm not sure
that would be a cool patch to add to my collection
The flares & barrel roll at the start of the video was part of Axalp airshow I believe.
The first aircraft is a Swiss Air Force F/A-18 at Axalp in the Swiss mountains (no trees there) yearly live fire exercise. Attracts lots of visitors obviously.
Freestyle Fridays! That is really cool...
Love you mate any tips on getting in the airforce I know you have a video but
You should check out some footage from on CZcams from - Mach Loop in wales uk some good footage of low level through the hills. Have you ever flown in the uk?
Found your channel not to long ago love the videos!
just pre ordered the book. can't wait to start reading it! 😀
First clip was in switzerland. At axalp.
