Here's something unfortunate: The Calm After the Ice Barrier's Storm does not specify that the tributed "Ice Barrier" monsters need to be from your side of the field, meaning that unless I'm missing something, you could use "Ice Barrier" monsters your opponent controls to gain advantage. Now, what could this have meant for the archetype? Well, the biggest downside that makes Royal Knight such a meme card is that token. With this card, you could then tribute summon Royal Knight, then use the token with this spell to give yourself advantage. But the problem with this is that the token is called an "Ice Coffin Token" instead of an "Ice Barrier Token", so it wouldn't work.
So it is the linchpin in the ice barrier mirror match? Tho I also guess you could use it as a trishula counter card. Tho you just could run some kajus and not bother with a spell card and an ice barrier garnet
It doesn't need to specify. The default assumption for Tributing, unless an effect states otherwise, is that you can only Tribute your own monsters. It's like when you search your deck - the effect doesn't specify that you shuffle it afterwards, but you still have to do that.
All I can say is the baby version of Exa Enforcer of the Nekroz is ADORABLE! Easily what I consider one of the top 5 cutest monster card designs in the game.
He had thumbnails for BLS, Cyber Dragon, and Noble Knights in a previous video (pretty sure it was a Support Report), and he hasn’t got around to them yet. Cyber Dragon is understandable, though, given how huge it is. Putting those aside, Dragunity sounds like a great one to review, as well as Timelords, but I’m still holding out hope that he reviews Odd-Eyes one day.

I'm very excited for this structure deck and been experimenting with it quite a lot and I have found some really cool interactions in this deck : - Dewloren can bounce back clear wall it helps to recover (this deck is really good at recovering stuff) - Atlantean Dragoons can be discarded by mirror master so search some sea serpent (wow combos in ice barrier incredible) also works with Fishborg launcher - High level ice barrier monsters can be surprisingly good (medium and general Raiho can be a pain for your opponent)
I've found some success lately largely due to their recurring spells and traps. Foolish burial grounds is a major part of how i manage to survive long enough to tear apart the opponent's hand/field/GY Also, weird tech choice, but Graydle Eagle has won me games so if you're still goofing with the archetype maybe give it a shot against more battle focused decks. No, they're not game changing as an archetype, but they can play the game now which is more than we could say for them before lol.
NAH! I bet instead they'll make ArShaddoll Phantom (Royal Knight of the Ice Barrier's armor that's been possessed) A Level 4 Fire Warrior monster (For the sake of IRONY) with the stats of Royal Knight -100. Flip: Special Summon one Shadow Coffin Token to your side of the field in Defense Position (Level 1 Dark Fiend with 0 Attack & 1000 Defense) When this card is sent to the graveyard by a card effect you can destroy 1 monster on the field. You can only use either effect of ArShaddoll Phantom Once Per Turn and only once that turn.
I've always really liked the art on ice barrier cards. I'm gonna be one of the two people to actually get 3 copies of the structure deck to actually build ice barriers. Thanks for the somewhat frequent uploads man. Hope you're doing well.
Is it bad that I knew as soon as “Special Summon Tuner from deck” showed up on Master Mirror that I knew Needlefiber would show up? Well hey, congrats on the freezing deck for managing to at least shatter past expectations, albeit not completely.
The worst part is that Ice Barriers use noodle for his second effect too, as cheating out a synchro tuner and summoning either Trishula during the opponent's turn is a great strat.
At the least they use it as intended, a synchro support. Link climbing isn't possible with it being locked to water because far as I know there isn't any generic water link monster that is good enough to be link climbed to. Hell actually you could have use Starlight Junktion and then let needlefiber stays on your opponent's turn in order to synchro into formula synchron, spin one of your opponent's card back and then proceeded to trish your opponent during their turn for massive 4 non destruction, non graveyard, non targetting cards removal on their turn.
How about next we do Dinowrestlers? You know that archetype that was meant to replace Gouki but it was so bad the character who used it tossed it out next season? The deck basically known for one card and nothing else to the point where I wonder if people know that Pankratops was part of an archetype.
Pankratops is what Elemental Hero Prisma is in a Gladiator Beast deck. I saw a custom playmat of Gladiator Beast and Prisma is in the middle of it and he's so out of place it hurts me.

For level 2 it needs to aqua type rather than water attribute, which is more restrictive in general

N-ice to see one of the most aesthetically pleasing archetypes finally get enough support to make it playable in modern times.
Shoutout to also Errating Dewloren so that he will eventually be freed from the banlist, giving icebarriers an easier synchro to summon more reliably.

Is it bad that I knew as soon as “Special Summon Tuner from deck” showed up on Master Mirror that I knew Needlefiber would show up? Well hey, congrats on the freezing deck for managing to at least shatter past expectations, albeit not completely.
The worst part is that Ice Barriers use noodle for his second effect too, as cheating out a synchro tuner and summoning either Trishula during the opponent's turn is a great strat.
At the least they use it as intended, a synchro support. Link climbing isn't possible with it being locked to water because far as I know there isn't any generic water link monster that is good enough to be link climbed to.
Hell actually you could have use Starlight Junktion and then let needlefiber stays on your opponent's turn in order to synchro into formula synchron, spin one of your opponent's card back and then proceeded to trish your opponent during their turn for massive 4 non destruction, non graveyard, non targetting cards removal on their turn.
Rata’s never ending hate against royal knight is what keeps me alive in these trying times~

How about next we do Dinowrestlers? You know that archetype that was meant to replace Gouki but it was so bad the character who used it tossed it out next season? The deck basically known for one card and nothing else to the point where I wonder if people know that Pankratops was part of an archetype.
Pankratops is what Elemental Hero Prisma is in a Gladiator Beast deck. I saw a custom playmat of Gladiator Beast and Prisma is in the middle of it and he's so out of place it hurts me.
