Great detailed review, description and explanation!
I bought a bottle online in Australia yesterday for 60 aud. So I'm watching every single YT review. This is my first middle east fragrance and I'm sure I'm going to be very happy with it. Australia is coming into winter shortly so I'll have a lot of opportunities to wear it.

Both the scent and the bottle are niche quality. Overall an amazing fragrance. For $20 it's an absolute steal.

I just happened to get this a few days ago. I wore it yesterday and it smells great. Cinnamon, vanilla, cedar, leather and smoke is what I smell mostly. The performance was amazing. I sprayed it on at 9 AM and by 9 PM, it was just starting to wear off. Presentation with the fancy box and the nice looking bottle is an added bonus. Anyhow, I always enjoy your reviews!

Thanks Adam! Appreciate the support🙏 Qaa'ed is definitely a level above the $20 price tag in all aspects.

Good review Dave 👍👍 I've had Qaa'ed for about 5 months now and really enjoy it. It was definitely NOT love at first sniff, and until this one? I didn't really believe the folks who said that a lot of the middle eastern fragrances had to sit to really reach their full potential.
I revisited it around a month later and it definitely changed for the better. The dry down is where it's at for me, but I don't have as much occasion to appropriately wear it... I'm a blue collar guy who gets dirty for a living, and does blue collar guy things outside of work. This bottle probably out lasts me lol.
This was also my first foray into oud 🤫

Thanks buddy as always, and thanks for sharing. This was probably your longest comment. Yeah, a while back, a subscriber reminded me that some fragrances need time to maturation, and I got to agree with him. I hear you about not having enough occasions to wear some genres of fragrances, and I got to believe it is the reason why easygoing, massive appealing fragrances sell more bottles than oud or the more interesting fragrances.

@fragrance instinct "occasions"... I agreed completely with that.
I make the comparison all the time between how men dressed when I was a kid, verses how I dress now as a man... And how things like fragrances for men have changed since I was a kid, verses now. It's not just tastes changing, it's opportunity.

Some reviewers say that this one is a clone of Dunhill Icon absolute. Idk if you agree?

Did a side by side today and there are lots of similarities, but to make it easier, let's just say 70% similar, but I would not mistaken one for the other. Dunhill starts off a bit "skanky" while Qaa'ed was easier. But for sure both are in the same family. Hope that helps.

I had ordered Lataffa Qaaed on recommendation; but did not like the smell. If anyone wants to buy from me for half price (Rs 1000 for 100ml unused) then reply below. Pick up in Bombay.
